Fallon Oral Surgery of Syracuse - Oral surgeon in Liverpool, NY

Dr. Paul has practiced Oral Surgery in Syracuse for over 45 years, and has been on staff at St. Josephs Hospital and Community General Hospital for over four decades. He is a life member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the state and local dental and oral surgical organizations.

Dr. Paul and his family have roots in the Syracuse-area going back one hundred years, and possess a strong belief in being of service to the local community. He is passionate not just about oral surgery, but in giving relief and comfort to those who need it, and is actively engaged in efforts to help those most vulnerable and in need of help.

The oldest of Dr. Pauls children, Dr. Tim grew up in Skaneateles, NY and attended high school at Christian Brothers Academy in suburban Syracuse. He received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Union College in 1989, and went on to earn a DDS (1995) and MD (1998) from the University at Buffalo.

Dr. Tim has practiced with his father since 2001, is on staff at St. Josephs Hospital in Syracuse, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the New York State (NYS) Oral Surgery Society, as well as the NYS, 5th District and Onondaga County Dental Societies.

Like his father, Dr. Tim finds value in his work by bringing comfort and compassion to those in need. He looks up to his father and family as role models, recalling how - as a 2 child - hed watch his father wake up in the middle of the night to drive into the office for emergency calls; he still sees his father doing that, today.

The work he does, from replacing missing teeth to fixing broken bones, is about more than simply repairing the body, but also, bringing people back where their sense of being and dignity is restored. Holding both a DDS and MD, Dr. Tim is uniquely qualified to do so, affectionately known as a textbook guru who with equal measure of trust and integrity, can provide standards of care and compassion that would make his father proud.

Dr. Tim hopes that one of his children may follow in his footsteps, he and his wife Lisa having eight ranging in age from 23 7. He and his family currently call Solvay, NY home, where Dr. Tim is an active member of numerous community organizations including the Sacred Heart Basilica, North Side Ministries, the Couple to Couple League, and is a member of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.

The most recent addition to the Fallon Oral Surgery team, Dr. Casey also attended Christian Brothers Academy before pursuing undergraduate studies at LeMoyne College. Dr. Casey received his DDS from the University at Buffalos School of Dentistry prior to training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at West Virginia University.

Sense of humor is a natural way for Dr. Casey to connect, and develop these connections: to understand them better, what their needs are and where theyre coming from, he can be more empathetic to their circumstances.

I have never had a tooth pulled, but today was my lucky day! Tooth #32 (my bottom right wisdom) was the target. The staff was pleasant and my wait time was not bad. Dr. Slocum was the D.D.S, and I must tell you 15 minutes tops I was done. No pain, I will honestly say I was terrified and the entire staff eased my whole demeanor! Thank you much for everything, this was painless in every sense of the word.

I'm not one to leave reviews, but this place is absolutely wonderful. I was having severe wisdom tooth pain and was referred by my dentist. The consultation was scheduled a month out but they got me on a waitlist and I was able to come in 2 days later. Dr. Kipp Slocum is a kind, caring, compassionate, and attentive surgeon. He explained everything to me in easy to understand terms and made me feel at ease during the consultation. The surgery was scheduled 3 weeks out. Again, they put me on a waitlist and called 3 days later telling me I could have the surgery the following day. Again, before the procedure, Dr. Slocum explained everything to me before putting me to sleep. I woke up an hour later with no pain. Dr. Slocum even called me that evening to make sure I was adjusting well after surgery. A few days later, I woke up with a very high fever and worried it was related to the extraction. I called on a Sunday and Dr. Slocum took my call and gave me advice on what to do. Within a week I was ready to jump back into work with minimal discomfort. After two weeks I felt absolutely no discomfort at all. I couldn't recommend this office and Dr. Slocum enough. The best part is, they were able to remove my wisdom teeth intact and let me take them home!

Five stars is not enough to rate this place because this place is top notch at keeping you relaxed and comfortable at what can be a very nervous time. Before this I have never had surgery in my life. I had Dr. Kipp Slocum. He not only explained the whole process to me at the consultation that I had but he also explained the whole process to me again when I went in to have 20 teeth and all four wisdom teeth extracted. I am not the type of person to usually leave reviews. Dr. Kipp Slocum is a very talented surgeon, I would even go as far as saying that he is someone who can do the impossible, because I had very little pain after the surgery. If I had to rate my pain level scale from 1 to 10 I would have to put it at a one or two. It was such little pain that I did not even have to take any of the pain medicine that he prescribed me. Everybody that I interacted with in the office or polite and friendly and always gave a smile while they were passing by. I would definitely recommend falling oral surgery for any extractions that you may need they will take very good care of you. I was referred to Fallon from my primary dentist. So thank you Fallon oral surgery of Syracuse and Dr. Kipp Slocum for providing me with the oral care that I needed done with very little pain. I will definitely be recommending Fallon to anybody I know that needs any type of oral surgery.

Honestly, I couldn't ask for a better Oral Surgeon. I needed a wisdom tooth and a molar extracted, but the night before my appointment I thought of a different way to do it that would change which teeth were extracted and wanted to ask if it could be done. I was so nervous to ask because generally doctors get upset if you switch things up the day of the procedure. Well, let me tell you this man came into the room smiling, and encouraged my questions and actually changed things around last minute when I asked him to, and he didn't postpone the procedure! He's got such a jovial attitude and fun way about him. Even during the procedure I was fighting not to smile and chuckle over the conversation he and his assistants were having. I never thought I'd say this, but going to the dentist made my day better. The receptionist on the phone is friendly too.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed about a week ago at this office. The process was so smooth from start to finish. Anesthesia and recovery went great which I was nervous about, and I have had very minimal pain post op. I highly recommend Fallon oral surgery! Thank you for making this process as easy as possible!

Every person, every step of the way, was extremely patient, kind, & reassuring! I couldn't have had a better experience. I had all four wisdoms removed a week ago and all four were impacted. Every step of the process was as seamless as possible. Everyone was extremely professional, well informed, and impressive.

I was referred to them from my Dentist and both times I visited the office my encounters with the surgeon were very quick and left me feeling anxious. I went in planning on only getting ONE wisdom tooth removed, which I had explained explicitly in our consultation appointment. After the doctor had given me nitrous oxide, he asked "we're doing two teeth right?" He should have known full well how many, and which teeth were being extracted. I could not afford to get more than one tooth removed, (one tooth was $1,000)and this felt like his last ditch attempt to get more money out of me, when I was a little out of it from the gas. I paid an extra $500 to receive a sedative, from which I woke up several times DURING the procedure, moments which I can still remember months later. This was the worst experience I have ever had regarding my health, and I will never be returning. The staff were not compassionate towards me at all during any interaction. I was in a lot of pain from my tooth and I woke up during the procedure choking and crying and they did not console me at all. I understand that this probably happens all the time where people are anxious about procedures, but I was severely mishandled and shooed off as quickly as possible. This place came highly recommended to me, and all I got was a largely traumatic experience, and a bill for $1,000 for half a tooth that took 10 minutes to extract.

I am a week post opp from having 4 wisdom teeth removed as well as a 5th tooth that was under other teeth and required bone to be removed. I am not one to usually leave reviews but I felt that Dr. Kipp Slocum did such a good job explaining what was going to happen. I asked many questions and they were all answered. The day of the extraction he had such a calming but knowledgeable presence that it really put me at ease. All of the nurses were also great. I would recommend this office to anybody who needs oral surgery.

Just had a wisdom tooth pulled out today that my regular dentist couldn't. The extraction went fairly quick and easy. Only novocaine and local needed. Currently no swelling and no pain.
