Paul grew up in a military family and has a varied background with lots of traveling. He attended BYU-Hawaii, BYU-Provo, the University of Utah, and Creighton University. After graduating from dental school, he worked in Northern Arizona for 6 years until he felt ready to start his own practice, which ended up being in Mesquite a perfect small town with lots of sunshine.
Paul and his family are very active he and Sarah have completed numerous ironman triathlons and marathons, including the Boston Marathon. They love boating enough that Paul wishes he could open a floating dental office on the lake. They have four wonderful children Tyler, Hailee, Seth, and MaKenna. Tyler recently married a wonderful girl Brooke and they are both studying at BYU. Hailee is in the nursing program at UVU. Seth is in high school and loves soccer and volleyball. MaKenna loves music and theater. The Harmers love to travel and would like to see the world. Paul loves being a dentist. He loves the variety being a general dentist. He likes cosmetic dentistry most (including botox and fillers), and also really loves the latest technology (like same day crowns).
Originally from North Dakota, Jess attended Minnesota State Community and Technical College. She has been a registered dental hygienist since 2005. Jess enjoys educating patients about all areas of their care and promoting systemic health through proper oral care. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors.
Maren is from Bountiful, Utah and now lives in St. George. She received her degree in 1992 in Massachusetts. Her family includes 7 children and her husband, Gary. Gary and Maren have been married for 34 years. The Crowton family is a football family and have lived all over the country. Maren loves the outdoors and spends her free time hiking, biking, reading, and going to good movies. Maren has been a hygienist in Massachusetts, Texas, Utah, and Nevada.
Anthony was born in St. George but raised in Mesquite. He graduated from Virgin Valley High School in 2017, attended a dental assisting program that summer, and was certified shortly after. Anthony loves to spend his free time going to the gym and being around family and friends. He is attending College of Southern Nevada to becoming a hygienist in the future.
Amy grew up in Logandale and is now living in Mesquite. She has been married to her husband, Kaden for 4 years. She worked as a dental assistant for 3 years and now uses that knowledge and experience in the front office. When Amy is not at work, she loves going on adventures of any kind with her friends and family. Amy is expecting her first baby!
Sarah was born in Northern California but has spent most of her life in Utah. She earned a bachelors degree in Health Promotion. She is our office manager and helps a lot with billing insurance companies (a tough task!). Sarah is an untiring hiker, an accomplished marathon-runner, and an avid mountain-biker. Her family is the her most important focus.

Don't attend this dentist if you're a young single woman. They charge you way more and they don't listen to your concerns or pain issues

Highly recommend, staff is very prompt and kind. Offers cash discounts, and same day services. Dr. Harmer is very informative and provides options for treatment regarding missing teeth, from what is most comfortable for the patient such as a fixed prosthetic like an implant, or removable prosthetic like partials. Both of which have a wide range in prices but thankfully we were not pressured in a quick decision. Returning for a comprehensive exam to determine a full plan of treatment. Again, I highly recommend!!

Be careful! I got a crown less than 1 year ago and had nothing but pain after getting crown. Finally pain calmed down after about 3 months and several visits back to Dr. Harmer. The crown fell off last night and this morning I had to go to another dentist (I have moved to another state) to have it glued back on. The dentist told me there was a hole in the crown and that Dr. Harmer had tried to put a filling in my crown to fill up the hole, but that fillings don't adhere to porcelain. I did contact Falcon Ridge and they are going to reimburse a good portion of the costs as it didn't last. I appreciate their willingness to work with me.

There is no better dentist in the universe than Dr. Harmer! I have had some dental horror stories in my past. He's the best. I had a tooth painlessly extracted yesterday, and by the time I got home, there was no numbness. In fact, I forgot I had been to the dentist office and ate a nice dinner with no tenderness, soreness or headache. I am so happy to finally find an excellent dentist with state-of-the-art equipment, wonderful staff, beautiful office and a fabulous bedside manner. Thank you Dr. Harmer!

worst experience ever at a dentistfirst the extractions were brutal and still felt them. because he kept leaving and going to do other patients and by the time he made it back the numbness was already wearing off and bleed all night long and still feel pieces of teeth in 2 of three extraction sites never again

I have been going to Doctor Harmer for about 13 years. I have received fantastic care for everything from cleanings to fillings to root canals and even a bridge. All the staff at Falcon Ridge are the best!

Dr. Harmer and his staff are very professional, kind and caring. I am very pleased that I have Falcon Ridge Dental Care to turn to for my semi-annual checkups, cleanings, cavity work and "one visit" crowns (yes, they measure you for, make and fit your replacement dental crown all in one visit...amazing!!!!!). I am very fortunate to have Dr. Harmer as my dentist!!!

I love the care I receive at Falcon Ridge Dental. The staff is very kind and helpful. I have 5 children and they are always good to accommodate us. Dr. Harmer is very patient and does a wonderful job of explaining all options for dental care. I am extremely happy with the service we receive here.
