A native of New Jersey, Dr. Derek Faktor has a Bachelors degree from Rutgers College, as well as his Doctor of Dental Medicine and Master of Business Administration from Temple University. He completed his General Practice Residency at Beth Israel Hospital.
Wanting to offer his patients the best care possible, Dr.Derek later furthered his education by completing the Full Mouth Reconstruction and Implant Surgical program at New York University College of Dentistry, where he trained in advanced oral reconstruction and surgical placement of dental implants. He currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU CDE, teaching dentists in all surgical aspects of implant dentistry.
Dr. Amnon Faktor was accepted into Temple Dental School after just two years at Rutgers University. Upon graduation, he began his residency in the United States Air Force from 1967-1969 while serving his country. Dr. Amnon did rotations in oral surgery, endodontics, peridontics, and prosthodontics, as well as radiology and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Amnon has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in order to continue that commitment to this day.
Dr. Amnon is a member of the American Dental Association, as well as the New Jersey Dental Association and the Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Association. He has been a dedicated dentist serving the Manalapan area for 43 years, in some cases seeing third generation same-family patients.
Dr. Minel Simo earned her undergraduate B.S. degree in General Science from Pennsylvania State University and her D.M.D from Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Simo completed postgraduate training in a Level-1 trauma center as a general practice resident at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. During her residency, she became proficient in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Simo is an active member of The American Dental Association (ADA), New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA), and Middlesex County Dental Society (MCDS). Dr. Simo is dedicated to excellence and is passionate about providing the best dental care. When Dr. Simo is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time traveling, hiking, and skiing with her family and friends.

Dr. Minel Simo and Dr. Derek Faktor as well as the staff are excellent! They are all extremely professional and kind. Both dentists are perfectionists and very thorough with their exams and treatment plans. They take their time with you to explain in detail your options for your dental treatment needs. The office is beautiful and exceptional in every way. I feel confident in their care plan. I know that I will be extremely satisfied with the outcome as well. I will continue to highly recommend their practice!!

My 15 daughter said my teeth have never looked so clean and white with out other dental office !! So glad we made the switch and Lisa was awesome with her !! And she is normally a nervous wreck when she goes for a cleaning and with Lisa is was very calm and so happy how her teeth looked after the cleaning! And best part she said was the massage chair !! Best office
