Dr. Prado was born in Carazo, Nicaragua and graduated from the National University of Leon Nicaragua as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1985. After that, she started her residency in maxillofacial surgery and became an oral surgeon. In 1993, Dr. Prado moved to the United States where she worked on updating her knowledge in the field of dentistry. Miami Dade Community College is where she studied to become certified to work as a dental hygienist in the United States. For four years she worked giving care to her patients all while studying to obtain her license to practice as a dentist. She passed the national and state examinations to fulfill her ambition of becoming a dentist in the United States.
While Dr. Prado enjoys treating all her patients, she especially enjoys working with children. Being a mother of five has given her a unique insight into children's oral habits. Dentistry and working with kids are Dr. Prado's passions!
A good portion of her schedule is devoted to providing quality dentistry to children. Her goal is to provide excellent dentistry with the human touches of compassion and gentleness. Dr. Prado loves welcoming returning patients and enjoys meeting new ones. She aims to stay in her patients lives over the years. Dr. Prado looks forward to welcoming you into her dental family and helping you meet your goals for healthy teeth and overall general health.
