Dr. Rogers earned his dental degree from UCLA after graduating cum laude from Harvard University. Prior to entering private practice, he served a general practice residency at Sepulveda Veterans Hospital. Dr. Rogers has invested significant time into ongoing education, seeking to learn emerging dental technologies and techniques in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, sleep apnea treatment, orthodontics, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, and safe amalgam replacement. His most recent training in bone grafting and other dental implant-related topics allows him to provide more options to a greater number of patients who seek solutions for missing teeth.
He is a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, and also of Mercury-Free Dentists. He has served as a guest author for TMJ News & Views, and when that publication ceased, began his own quarterly newsletter. You may have seen one of his television interviews on A New Me or the local PBS station, or seen his articles and features in Ladies Home Journal, Arlington Magazine, and New Beauty.
Dr. Rogers is an active participant in the community as a sponsor for Encore Theater, Little League of Alexandria, Abingdon Elementary, and the local Fairlington Farmers Market. He and his wife Terri enjoy spending time with their daughter Megan and her husband Corey as well as RVing the coast with their dogs, Aussie and Cruzan.
Sara joined the Fairlington Dental Family in July 2021. She grew up in Northern Virginia and lived in New Jersey for a few years, then in New York for 10+ years. In New York, she attended college and received her Bachelor of Health Science degree. She moved to Springfield, VA with her family in 2010 and absolutely loves it here. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, and trying out new plant-based restaurants.
After growing up in a Navy family, Sally was delighted to marry and settle in Alexandria where she and her husband raised two daughters. One lives and teaches in Arlington, while the other is in Worcester, MA, working in the gaming industry with a startup company but considering returning to school for her masters degree. Sally has actively practiced dental hygiene since graduating from East Tennessee State University in 1978. She is excited how the profession is growing and changing with new technologies and new discoveries in prevention. In her spare time, she loves working with students and young professionals who are overwhelmed and so stressed they cannot perform and live to their highest potential and desires. She guides them in releasing the restrictions that are holding them back.
Vivien joined Fairlington Dental in February 2012. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Old Dominion University (cum laude) in 2001. She was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, and now permanently resides in Centreville, VA, with her husband Rey and daughter Rachel. Prior to pursuing her career in dental hygiene in the United States, Vivien practiced general dentistry in the Philippines for seven years. She has had extensive experience in many fields of dentistry, highly focused on providing preventive, educational, and therapeutic services to help patients achieve their optimum oral health. She feels rewarded by helping people achieve their goals in dental care. Vivien keeps her skills and knowledge up to date through various continuing education programs.
Virginia Kywe joined the Fairlington Dental family in 1995 as an assistant. After 18 years of service, she decided to pursue her long-time dream of becoming a dental hygienist and in 2015, she earned her associates degree in dental hygiene at Northern Virginia Community College. She lives with her husband in Woodbridge; they have two children, Ethan and Halle. When not at workVirginia enjoys cooking, gardening, and taking long walks with her dog, Princess.
Lee initially became a member of the Fairlington Dental team in 2000. Although she spent some time away from the office, she was thrilled to rejoin the team in 2013. She grew up in Woodbridge. Over the years, she has moved all throughout the NOVA area and has settled in Loudoun County. She graduated from JMU in 1996 with a bachelors degree in health sciences. She then decided to pursue dental hygiene and graduated from ODU in 1998. One of her favorite things about practicing dental hygiene is being able to work with people of all ages. When not in the office, Lee enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. Some of their favorite activities include boating and fishing.
Martha joined the Fairlington Dental family in October 2005. She has business and dental assisting experiencein the pediatric, endodontic, and general dentistry fields.She grew up in Falls Church, VA, and currently resides in Springfield with her husband and three children. Herhobbies include volunteering as a CCD teacher, playing soccer, Zumba dancing, visiting her daughterNathalie in Orlando, FL, attending her son Chriss lacrosse games at Washington College, and hanging out with heroldest daughter Vanessa, who lives here.
LaVonn joined Fairlington Dental in October 1998. She is originally from Danville, VA, where she completed her 900-hour vocational training in dental assisting while in high school. She then received an Associate of Applied Science degree with a major in Dental Hygiene (magna cum laude) from Northern Virginia Community College. She has over 22 years of experience in many aspects of dentistry. Prior to becoming a dental hygienist, she was Dr. Rogers treatment coordinator for six years. LaVonn frequently attends continuing education courses to increase her level of patient care. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and doing Zumba.
Ambar joined Fairlington Dental in December 2014 as a dental assistant with over 12 years of experience. She grew up in Falls Church, VA, where she resides with her husband Jonathan, Grandmother Maria, and three daughters. In her spare time she helps her husband coach 7th and 8th grade select basketball. She also enjoys volunteering at her childrens school and being outdoors during summer.
Magali Maggie Ameller joined Fairlington Dental in April 2019. She has been a dental assistant since 1998 and enjoys helping and interacting with patients. She loves dogs and is a lover of all animals. She and her husband live in Alexandria and have been married since 2004. Together they enjoy dining out, spending time outdoors, walking in Shenandoah, and quality time with family and friends.
Courtney joined the dental field in 2013, and she says it has been quite the experience! There is something new and exciting to learn every day in the dental field. What she enjoys most about dental care is the wonderful patients. Patient care is so important ensuring each and every patient has the comfort of knowing we are there to help every step of the way is important to Courtney. When she is not at work doing what she loves, she is a full-time mom, auntie, and loving daughter and friend. Most of her free time is spent with her favorite little girl, Zailey, and surrounding herself with positive energy always.
