Doctor Rogers team and office staff continue to provide top-notch care. There is a sensitivity to my anxiousness about being "in the chair" and never an admonishment for how long it takes me to get there. Virginia and Dr. Rogers explained in detail each step taken, answer all questions, and work together to develop the best plan I'm comfortable with. Even though I no longer live in Virginia, I would not consider going anywhere else for service.

I visited Dr. Michael Rogers for the first time on Oct. 5, regarding an issue with Tooth #19 (bottom left in my mouth). Prior to that, I had gotten varying opinions on future action from my regular dentist, from the endodontist and from the periodontist, ranging from root canal, revised crown to pull the tooth and face a long ordeal of implants. Dr. Rogers was very factual and straightforward, which I appreciated. First, Dr. Rogers said my bite was off, and made a minor adjustment to the height of a crown. Then he asked if I wore retainers on my teeth (yes, top and bottom) and how old were they (several years) and he said that might be a source of the problem. I had not brought them with me, so I will return for another look next week. In the lengthy form that patients are asked to fill in, there was no question to prospective patients: Do you wear retainers on your teeth? YES or NO. If yes, advise the patient to bring them with them for the upcoming visit. It would save time for the patient and for the dentist. I appreciated Dr. Roger's offering varied possible options, with the last on the list pulling the tooth and the ensuing ordeal. And I commend my friend Janice Magnusson for suggesting a 2nd opinion. Sincerely, Kathy Burns 1036 N. Pelham St. Alexandria, VA 22304

This was my first appointment with this practice. At first I was a bit daunted by the long questionnaire about not only my teeth but my overall health and lifestyle but I later realized how important it was to them thinking about my care. When I arrived, there was a really thorough intake meeting and discussion of the philosophy of the practice which I greatly appreciated. La Vonn was my hygienist and she was terrific - she spent more time with me than I have ever had and she was both incredibly thorough but also explained a lot of techniques that I can try to improve my teeth and gums. And they provide lots of free samples including an electric toothbrush so I didn't feel like they were upselling me. Their equipment is top notch and the best X-rays I've seen where I could really see and understand what was going on. I learned so much more than I've ever been told. Overall a great experience and glad to have finally found a dentist I feel I can trust.

First of all, i am not a fan of the dentist. Dr. Rogers and his staff are all pros and always lift any anxiety I have with their gentle and polite manner. On top of that, he is a really excellent dentist. I have been through a number of different procedures with him and each has been minimally painful and any recovery time has been quick as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his staff to anyone.
