Dr. Knight hails from Huntsville, AL. He earned his doctorate from UAB Dental School, and his career in this field spans a decade now with hopefully many more years on the horizon. He is currently a member of several dental organizations. These include the International Dental Implant Association, the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics, the American Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He and his wife, Tara, have four sons. His wife owns a local childrens theatre company, Bay Area Performing Arts.
Olivia is originally from a small town near beautiful Traverse City, Michigan. She moved to the Eastern Shore shortly after hurricane Ivan in 2004. She earned her Associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Pensacola State College in 2010.She is certified in BLS/CPR and is National Board Certified.

This was my first time to Fairhope Modern Dental (FMD). I needed to switch from my longtime Dentist because they no longer took my insurance as in-network. I found out about FMD by pulling up Google Maps and typing in Dental. I chose them for their close location to my home and also their Five Star Rating and the over 200+ Reviews. I was impressed by three things: 1) Their Online New Patient Registration was User Friendly & Cut Down on Early Arrival needed to fill out paperwork. I just walked in, their friendly front office staff welcomed me and I sat down in their well appointed, pleasing atmosphere and comfortable waiting area until my appt time, 2) I had Olivia, as my Dental Hygienist. She's has over 10+ years experience and is very affable & knowledgeable. As she was doing my cleaning she mentioned areas she saw need for watching for food capture, any staining, areas of swollen gums and potential areas of wear. Then, she recommended daily habits and OTC dental items that I may want to use to increase my oral health and why they would be beneficial. My teeth and gums felt very happy after her care and she did a very thorough job, 3) The Dentist, Dr Knight was attentive, addressed any of my concerns and gave me an overview of his assessment of my oral health. He pointed out any potential 'watch' areas, what I should look for as warning signs and recommended how often would be best for me to come in for care. Overall, My experience from phone, to online home registration, to welcome, to oral care and check out was smooth, enjoyable and I truly felt like I was in good hands. I have already made my six month appointment with Olivia. I look forward to making them my Dental Family home for years to come. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a Dentist!

This has been my dentist office for the past two years. I have to say today was a true testament to the fact that I have truly chosen a great dentist and office. I called the office for what was truly an emergency for me. PAIN! I just wasn't sure if it was dental related or not but it sure felt like it. Anita, the office receptionist, did her best to work me in to be seen right away. I flew from Daphne to Fairhope in a flash and Dr. Knight was kind enough to see and assess my concerns. He did a thorough exam of my gums and teeth to determine if my pain truly was dental. As it was not, he didn't charge me for the consult, gave his expert opinion, and assured me that my plan to see the urgent care physician was good one. He felt sure that my pain was stemming from the sinusitis I had recovered from the week before. After a visit to the urgent care by the bay it was indeed the case. My ear was super infected from poor sinus drainage and it was radiating pain to the entire right side of my jaw and face. As a trained acute care RN of 22 years, I was so pleased with the care I received. Fairhope modern dental is a keeper and my smile is impeccable and my teeth and gums are intact. Hope this review helps you nail down a good dentist because it took quite a while for me to find him and I'm glad I did.

Great experience getting a cleaning. Jill was really sweet and did a wonderful job with my teeth. They also offer lots of great options for people who don't have dental insurance, such as myself. Thanks y'all!

My first appointment with Dr.Knight, I felt welcomed from the time that I entered the office by the Receptionist as she greeted me. Dr.Knight and his staff were very friendly and professional. Dr. Knight took the time to explain the options that I had in regards to my dental care and he took the time to listen and answer the questions that I was concerned about. Dr. Knight and the staff are very caring! The office staff is helpful with billing and insurance questions. They are calming and kind. They are also taking Covid precautions seriously, which I appreciated. Five star service.

This is the best place to have your teeth cleaned and cared for. All the staff are extremely friendly and care about you. Dr.Andrew is a great dentist and always asks how I'm doing. It's very nice to have a dentist you feel comfortable with and will give you honest and good advice about your teeth. I always walk out feeling great about my teeth and great about the experience in general. If I could give 10 stars I would! Just a high quality professional and genuine business!

Today was only my first visit but I am highly impressed and very much at ease here!! The in house savings plan is amazing! It covers two cleanings with flouride application and also gives you a twenty percent discount on everything else. The dentist and his staff were very kind. They were thourogh with my cleaning and also with laying out my dental plan going forward. I found this place via google and just took a chance and I am SO glad I did!!
