It is truly a pleasure to know my patients personally, and to witness the joy they feel when their smile lights up the room. Orthodontics helps people attain beautiful smiles, but it also enables patients to have a more comfortable bite and live healthier lives. I love having the ability to make peoples lives better and get to know them throughout treatment.
Although my formal education is complete, I know the importance of continuing my orthodontic education every year. I strive for perfection in every treatment I give, and enjoy incorporating the most modern, proven methods in our practice. I read about new developments in orthodontics every week and attend the conferences of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists.
I have also completed numerous courses in Invisalign clear aligners, and was one of the first orthodontists certified in Invisalign. My continuing education is so important to me because I know it is the best way to ensure my patients will always receive the highest quality of care.
I have been an orthodontist since 1983 and am proud of what I do. Every person has a unique orthodontic need and different goals for treatment. I take the time to know each patient personally and talk about what he or shewants out of orthodontics. One of the benefits of my job is a patients surprise at how enjoyable and comfortable orthodontics can be.
I feel like I have the best job in the world, and I am well suited for it. I enjoy working one-on-one with people, and I also love treatment planning and the technical side of orthodontics. With young patients, I always speak with parents about treatment. No one knows a child better than their parent, and I value their insight.
I treat every patient as if they were part of my family. As a mother, I know that every parent wants personalized treatment for their child. I was recently voted one of the Top Orthodontists in CT Magazine, and I will always give my best efforts for each patient and their family.
I grew up in New York and have lived in Fairfield since 1985. My wonderful husbandRogerand I have three children named Michelle, David, and Julia. All my children have had braces and I can tell you, even the children of the orthodontist lose their retainers!
As an orthodontist, I know how important it is to share information with our community. That is why I welcome students in our community to come into the office and learn about orthodontics as a profession. I am proud to say three of our patients have gone on to dental school and are practicing in the area! During the summer months, you will often see young people observing my team and me to learn about orthodontics. I am incredibly proud of all my students!
