Dr. Katherine Finkel is a 1992 graduate of Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. Dr. Katherine Finkel served her residency treating medically compromised patients in a trauma center at Stony Brook University Hospital on Long Island, New York.

Dr. Katherine Finkel is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. She keeps abreast of the latest advances in preventive, restorative, and cosmetic care through continuing education courses.

In our sterilization center, we use an automated ultrasonic instrument cleaner to first clean all our patient-care instruments, followed by heat sterilization. Many of our patient-care items are disposable we unwrap a fresh, sterile pack of instruments for each patient visit.
We maintain an accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date medical/dental history including medication and allergy lists to ensure patient safety during each visit. Ongoing communication with health care providers, both medical and dental, helps to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care of each patient.

Made an appointment on 10/12 for a 10am appointment on 11/8. Which was then pushed to 10:15am and then 10:45am without my say so. I called and they said I made the appointment for 10:45. I did not. Then got a call on 10/28 that they are cancelling my appointment completely because they no longer accept my insurance. Please do not move around appointments without patient notification and please be aware of what insurances you accept before booking.

Avoid this place, They charged patient $20 each visit, claiming cleaning fees for COVID-19, it is a scam. An elderly patient friend was forced to pay when it is their responsibility to ensure a safe and sanitize enviroment. This place should be reported to CT health Department

Thank you Dr. Finkle!!!! I was there for three hours today because I hadn't been to the dentist in two years! They were able to fit me in the schedule. I had my bonding fixed, a cavity filled and really thorough cleaning. They took a bunch of x-rays which felt good, I appreciate them keeping good records. They work pretty quickly, and are definitely attentive. Happy to have found a dentist close to home.

Beautiful, state of the art, clean office ; friendly, knowledgeable staff ; honest, conservative, and gentle health care providers. They were so warm and wonderful with my six year old daughter as well ; they make going to the dentist something she actually looks forward to. You can truly feel that the staff here genuinely cares about the oral health of their patients. I would recommend them to anyone.

Horrible practice!! Always trying to up sell you. Make you wait for an hour to see the dentist. Always want more money more money!! Do yourself a favor and don't go here!

Weeks or months can pass before you hear back from them. Calls go unanswered and I always get extreme markups or told my insurance wouldn't cover something that another dentist ends up doing anyway and tells me it was covered?? Really not happy with most of my visits

When I said I had to leave she continued to keep me waiting saying that the system couldn't refund me the money I paid up front for my filling and they had to write me a check. Apparently her time is much more important than mine, well in her mind anyway. I won't be back.
