I attended Michigan State University where I was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa honor society and graduated Magna Cum laude Laude with a BS in Psychology. From East Lansing, I moved to Ann Arbor to attend The University of Michigan Dental School. At Michigan I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the dental honor society. While at Michigan, I was introduced to scientific research and conducted two major studies leading to my publication of an article in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 1999.

For my specialty training in Orthodontics, I was proud to attend the University of Pennsylvania, which has been recognized as one of the most prestigious orthodontic residencies in the United States. At Penn I earned my credential in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and conducted research studies on bone biology.

While my formal education has provided me with an outstanding foundation, orthodontics is a constantly evolving science and I regularly attend professional meetings, seminars and courses, and study research journals to stay abreast of the newest developments, technology, equipment, practice techniques and materials. This allows me to provide my patients with a variety of treatment options and discuss with them the information they need to make educated choices about their care.
