I received my undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University. I also graduated summa cum laude from the University Of Louisville School of Dentistry, specializing in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
By regularly participating in continuing education, I am able to stay current on the latest technology and orthodontic treatments. My patients deserve the best, and continuing education allows me to provide my patients with more options and better results. I am a member of several professional associations, which provide me with opportunities for continuing education.

I have worked in the administrative side of dentistry for more than 22 years. Here at Fairbanks Orthodontics, I manage day to day operations and work with parents on all nancial contracts. I get to work with a group of like-minded people, all of whom have our patients best interests at heart. Dr. Fairbanks is a perfectionist, which makes his nish results amazing! He also loves to make it fun for the patients and have them enjoy the process with contests and rewards at every visit! Our team is unied in helping the patients and parents feel comfortable with their treatment and enjoy the process from beginning to end.
I came to Fairbanks Orthodontics in 2012, bringing with me 15 years of experience in general dental assisting. Now that Im here, I help patients feel comfortable and confident with their orthodontic treatment. I provide education on oral hygiene and braces care, assist Dr. Fairbanks with patient care, and meet with our new patients to set up financial contracts. I love being a part of our patients orthodontic journeys from the very beginning. Theres nothing better than helping to create condence with beautiful smiles.

Both me and my two younger brothers who went to Dr. Fairbanks had braces for several years each through him. We all developed TMJ shortly after getting our braces off, and have no history of anyone in our family having TMJ. Our bites became misaligned and still are to this day. We have also gone back to Dr. Fairbanks for assistance in this matter, which he was unable to give any except for to get a mouthguard that prevents against grinding teeth. I spent several hundred dollars on this mouthguard that is actually not approved to help TMJ and causes more of a problem with grinding. There is definitely some thing wrong with this man's practice, and I'm curious to see how many more people have ended up with a misaligned bite due to him. I have had pain that will more than likely last my entire lifetime due to someone who didn't know how to practice orthodontics correctly

Changing my review from a 5 to a 1. Not because of my experience with the Dr but with the Beth at the front desk. She is very rude and demeaning. Fairly alarming as her job is to provide Customers with good service. She raised her voice with me over the phone and told me she was getting frustrated with my and my "inability". Had to hang up as I am a paying Customer and don't deserve to be degraded... sad.

Had a good experience with the doctor but it seems like they're very confused about the claims/insurance process done on the back end.. The front desk gave no additional information and specifically the employee Beth had a very rude and impatient tone with my wife. She had answers and did not care about our concerns. I had the procedure 2021 and received no information about the the claims process until now which is July.

My experience with the receptionist was kinda odd? I emailed them asking for an appointment, they emailed me back asking for my last name so I decided to call them instead. I didn't get an answer so I left a voicemail and emailed them soon after. The next day a receptionist told me I need to call and can't email for appointments.... Maybe check your voicemail box? Anyways, I called back and the receptionist knew who I was and what I was coming in for... But couldn't bother to call me back?

The treatment seems as good as it could be and the assistants are kind during appointments but scheduling with them is a nightmare. Even if you have to check your kid out of school for a 3:30 appointment they require that you do a morning and still miss school for the next appointment. They are closed on Fridays and if they try to not let you come in on the same day of the week twice in a row and they also close (including phone coverage) for lunch. I am a working mother with a very generous schedule. I cannot imagine trying to work with them if I had to abide by an actual schedule or report to a boss like so many people do.

We love Fairbanks Orthodontics! 3 of my 4 kids have had braces with Fairbanks, and my 4th will get them when he is old enough. Friendly staff and our results have been great!

I have two kids in braces right now. I did consults with 4 or 5 offices and this one was the best! I was so happy with the plan he presented and his explanations for what was needed. We are 6 months in now and it's been great!

Poorly handled financial. Brought two kids for a consultation, gave them my insurance, they told me what was covered and what our patient responsibility was we signed the contract at the agreed price, I paid in full to get the discount. A month after treatment started, I was notified by Voicemail (that I still have) that I over paid by $1500 & then reimbursed me for. A year later when my kids treatment was done they said they wouldn't take their braces off because they owed a balance between the 2 of them equaling $1500. Their staff made a mistake and would not own up to it. They said they cannot control job change or insurance change which we did not have at all. I WILL NOT BE TAKING MY OTHER CHILD THERE! They pack in so many patient that they can never change appointment or get you in for anything else. Spread too thin.

Fairbanks Orthodontics is the best! Dr Fairbanks is wonderful, his staff is amazing and the front desk are so nice! We are only halfway through our orthodontics treatment and there is already an incredible difference! My child's teeth look amazing! We are so happy with Fairbanks Orthodontics! Update: All I can say is THANK YOU DR FAIRBANKS!!! My daughter just got her braces off and her smile is beautiful! I am SO HAPPY with the results! Dr Fairbanks was there at every appointment to check her teeth and progress and make adjustments. Thank you again!
