One year later Still loving this office and everyone that works there. Both Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen are amazing as always and since my initial review, Ive had all four wisdom pulled out, a couple of fillings done and just recently, a night guard done. I highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for a new dentist and a friendly vibe.

Who says going to the dentist has to be rough? The staff at this practice go to great lengths to care for patients in the best way. They use state of the art equipment, always greet you with a smile, they are friendly, and have a soft touch when performing their procedures. My family always looks forward to going to the dentist.

Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Tran are both incredible! The dental hygienists are great too! Everyone is friendly and experienced! Ive been to multiple dentists in Florida and Virginia and this place surpasses them all with their friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond. The receptionists are amazing also! A native Virginian, she attended Virginia Commonwealth University where she studied chemical engineering and went on to receive her DDS. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Tran stays up to date on the latest advances in dentistry through continuing education and advanced dental training. She is an Invisalign Preferred Provider, and an alumna of the Dawson Academy. In 2019 Dr. Tran was named a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentists

When asked about her favorite part of the job, Dr. Tran is quick to point to the patient interaction. She loves learning their hopes and dreams and being able to engineer their mouth to provide them with a healthier life. Dr. Nguyen is an avid learner and strives to stay on top of all the newest advances in dentistry. She is a certified Invisalign Provider as well as an alumni of the Dawson Academy, renowned for its emphasis on complete patient care. Though she enjoys her time with her adult patients, Dr. Nguyen especially enjoys working with the pediatric patients in the practice. Her service to her patients has earned her recognition as Top Dentist in Virginia Living Magazine for two consecutive years, as well as the honor of being a Washingtonian Top Dentist

Krissy, our practice administrator, has over 20 years of dental experience. She originally began her career as a chairside assistant in Arlington, VA. She brings to our practice a vast knowledge of dentistry from treatment sequence to insurance benefits.

Sarah is one of the most multi-faceted members of our team and works primarily behind the scenes at Fair Lakes Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition to coordinating Invisalign treatments, Sarah assists with treatment planning, scheduling patients and assisting where her expertise is needed. Sarahs favorite part of the job is getting to help others as they pursue the smile theyve always wanted. She also enjoys building relationships with patients and getting to know them better.

Melissa, our dental hygienist, joined our team in 2015. She is a native Virginian and was awarded the Virginia Dental Hygienists Association Student Award in 2015 while a student at Northern Virginia Community College. Prior to attending hygiene school, Melissa was a dental assistant for 2 years.

Melissa chose dentistry because she loves working with patients and educating them about their oral health. Each of her patients leaves the practice with an individualized regimen geared toward keeping their teeth healthy.

Linda is a dental hygienist who joined our practice in 2018. As a lifelong Fairfax County native, she grew up un Annandale and now resides in Springfield, VA. She graduated from the Allegany College of Maryland Dental Hygiene program in 2014.

She chose dental hygiene because she enjoys the one-on-one experience with patients along with giving back to the community. She would often volunteer at Mission of Mercy in VA and MD, serving underprivileged communities. She enjoys encouraging and helping patients to achieve optimal oral health, having the ability to connect with patients daily, learning about their lives and answering questions patients may have.

Diana has recently joined the team as the front desk coordinator. She has a passion for dentistry and is currently studying dental hygiene. She enjoys being able to work with patients and helping them to feel comfortable. Her hobbies include studying, watching TV and eating food!

A caring and compassionate person, Jessica loves interacting and getting to know the patients at Fair Lakes. She has a desire to help people and make a difference in the lives of her patients. Jessica also enjoys the team environment at Fair Lakes.

Crystal joined our team in 2020 as a Dental Assistant. Hardworking and very passionate about the dental field, Crystal is currently studying to go to dental school. She treats her patients as if they were a member of her family and works to earn their trust.

Madison, our Sterilization Technician/Dental Assistant joined our team in 2021. She holds a bachelors degree from Southeast Missouri State University and has more than six years of experience in an oral surgeons office. She is fascinated by the human mouth and loves watching patients become confident with their smile. Madison also enjoys getting to know and spending time with both her patients and coworkers.

Outside of the office, Madison can be found spending time with her husband and taking their dog on walks around their neighborhood. She also enjoys going to the gym and relaxing on the couch watching her favorite TV shows.

Brandy is a dental assistant who started with Fair Lakes at the end of 2021. She has seven years of experience as a dental assistant and is certified in X-ray and CPR. Brandy enjoys cosmetic dentistry and the chance to make people smile. Helping to get a patient back to a healthy, happy, confident place makes her happy. Brandy is bubbly, adventurous, and ambitious and would do anything for anyone, going out of her way to help others.

Raised in Texas, Florida and Virginia, Brandy loves the mountains. Outside of the office, she enjoys going to the gym, hiking, concerts, breweries, kayaking, tubing and anything outdoors. Her favorite quote is, You are enough!

Ellen joined the Fair Lakes Family and Cosmetic Dentistry team as a Financial Coordinator in 2022. She was inspired to follow this career path after watching her father, a now-retired dentist, and her mother, his office manager, work together to build a compassionate and patient-focused dental practice. Ellen is excited to build relationships with both our wonderful patients and the Fair Lakes team. Within the field of dentistry, she is most interested in Invisalign, dental technologies and office management and expansion.

When she is not working, you can find Ellen spending time with friends and family, exercising (and getting bubble tea afterward!), exploring new beaches and catching up on TV shows with her husband. Her favorite quote is, Happiness is what you make of it.

Meet the team mascot, Mavis, therapy dog-in-training. She is Dr. Tran’s Maltipoo, happy to provide her therapeutic services to help ease our patients’ anxiety.
