Dr. Fain grew up in Knoxville, graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and the University of Tennessee Dental School and has practiced here for over 40 years. He has attended thousands of hours of continuing education courses including over 500 hours at the world renowned Pankey Institute as a student and as a visiting faculty member. He has presented programs at the state and local levels, served on peer review for 25 years and is a delegate to the American Dental Association. He has been program chairman for Second District Dental Society for over 10 years and is a founding member of the Pankey Study Club of East Tennessee.

Both he and his wife Lynne are involved in church and community activities. They are both elders at Lake Hills Presbyterian Church. Lynne has served on various boards including the Knoxville Utilities Board and the Ronald McDonald House. She is a past president of the Junior League and the University of Tennessee Alumni Association. They have two grown children, Beth and Craig.

Maggie, Office Manager, is a Knoxville native and graduate of the University of Tennessee. She joined Dr. Fain's staff in 1984 after a career in clothing/textiles. She is an active alumna of Phi Mu Sorority and is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Knoxville. She is a member of All-Saints Catholic Church and active at First United Methodist Church with her husband, Dick. They enjoy travel and UT sports.

Pattie, Registered Dental Hygienist, received her dental assistant and hygiene training in the 1990s in Florida. She has a daughter who is a dental hygienist in Jacksonville, FL. Pattie grew up in Arizona in a family which believed in hard work. One summer they built their own swimming pool with no outside help. She has worked with Dr. Fain since 2006.

Peggy, Registered Dental Hygienist, grew up in Wisconsin and received her dental hygiene degree in 1987 from the University of Minnesota. She completed her B. S. degree in 2005. She and her husband who is an airline pilot and their dog Abby moved to Tellico Village in 2014. She enjoys outdoor sports swimming, hiking, biking, running, kayaking, and boating.

Jill, Certified Dental Assistant, grew up in Nebraska and continues to be a Cornhusker fan. After over five years experience in dentistry in another state, she completed the dental assisting program at Tennessee Technology Center in Knoxville. She is a wife, mom, and grandma and has worked with Dr. Fain since 2006.
