Dr. Brown was born into a family of orthodontists and raised in Birmingham, Michigan. He completed his undergraduate career at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and made stops in Massachusetts and Florida learning dentistry and orthodontics before settling in Washington. As the son of an orthodontist, watching his father and the joy his work brought to the lives of his patients left a lasting mark, and Dr. Brown is excited to continue that legacy. Dr. Brown has 3 simple rules: be efficient in his treatment, open in his communication and compassionate in his care.
Dr. Brown is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, and Washington State Society of Orthodontists. Additionally, during his education, Dr. Brown was awarded the prestigious Dr. Alfred Osher Scholarship, which is given to students who exhibit the highest degree of personal and work ethics. In his years of practice, Dr. Brown maintains his commitment to continuing education; constantly taking courses to understand and implement new technologies and procedures that can be applied to better serve you.
He and his wife, Jen (the dentist next door!), are thrilled to call Washington home. While they have no children yet, they have a Siberian cat and a golden retriever that keep them on their toes. In his spare time, Dr. Brown loves to play tennis, basketball, fly fish, and cook.

Factoria Orthodontics is the best around. My husband and myself both have had treatments there and our nine year old just got his expander on today. He had such a great time he said he can't wait to go back again. The whole team is kind, efficient and very knowledgeable.

Myself and my 3 young adult children received excellent orthodontic care from Factoria Orthodontics for many years. We experienced the smooth transition from Dr. Fidler's exceptional care to Dr. Brown's equally exceptional care. The doctors and staff regularly went above and beyond to meet our needs and address our concerns. The culture of the office is one of joyful professionalism. Everyone there appears happy in their job and just as happy to see you. It is always a pleasure to enter the office! We consulted a couple orthos closer to our home but were confused by conflicting answers. We decided to try dr brown since he had taken over after dr fidler retired. He's great and explained options in a way that made sense. So here was able to clarify for why these others have different opinions. They also do a scan so you can see the imaging of the teeth so much easier to visualize what would happen. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Generally the office seems to run on time and we've never really had to wait long. We're glad we decided to go back even though it's a longer drive!

Dr. Fildler was a great, professional, very capable, and personable dentist. The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. It's always a pleasure visiting the office. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. One more advantage is that this clinic shares the same building with several other general dentistry clinics. So you could coordinate your orthodontic appointments with your general dentistry appointments on the same day with just one trip.

I broke my retainer and called to get a replacement asap. They were able to find me a spot on the next business day to take the models, and have the replacement ready within the next 3 days after. Everything was friendly and fast.

I've been taking my daughter here for several years now and Dr. Brown is great and the staff are so welcoming, they know us well. We've had such a great experience here, first with Dr. Fiddler and now with Dr. Brown, I honestly wouldn't take my kiddo anywhere else for ortho work. I've been so impressed with them, that I also went to Factoria Ortho for my care. They are awesome providers!!

Dr. Brown and his team are top notch! From day 1, my son and I felt so welcomed and taken care of. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. It's been just over a year since my son got his Invisalign, and it's been going really well. I brought my daughter in last year, and Dr. Brown recommended we wait for another year or so until all her baby teeth were gone, so that we wouldn't need to do treatment twice. I really appreciate their conservative practice so we don't have to pay twice! I will highly recommend to anyone needing orthodontics!
