Dr. Senehi is the founder of Facial & Oral Surgery Institute in Southern California. He is a dual degree Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, DDS, MD, as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Senehi has extensive training in administering various levels of anesthesia in an outpatient setting. He founded the FOS Institute to offer his patients superior services with the most technological advancements in the field.
His professional vision was realized with theopening of his new state of the art facility where he provides a multi-disciplinary approach to reconstruction of the face and jaws including facial plastics, oral surgery, implant dentistry, corrective jaw surgery, maxillofacial trauma, surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea, as well as TMJ Disorders. The Facial & Oral Surgery Institute is also the premier center for training associated healthcare professionals in various surgical procedures and the latest techniques.
Dr. Senehi attended the distinguished Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC where he earned his DDS degree after completing his undergraduate education at UCLA for a Bachelor of Science. He obtained his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He also received extensive training in anesthesiology through the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern and Childrens Medical Center in Dallas. He completed his residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center / Parkland Hospital, one of the most prestigious programs in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Senehi has received multiple awards throughout his career, including Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Pathology Recognition Awards from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, Academic Chief of Alpha Omega Dental Organization Recognition Award, Association of Professors and Scholars of Iranian Heritage Recognition Award, Deans Honors List at UCLA and Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC.
Dr. Senehi is a recent grant recipient from Texas-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Science and Education Foundation, which provided an opportunity for him to complete a Surgical Rotation at Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva, Israel. This experience allowed him to expand his clinical knowledge, surgical skills and become familiar with different perspectivetheories and techniques in the field.
Recently, he was honored by having been voted one of Americas Top Dentists of 2015. As the founder of Facial &Oral Surgery Institute, Dr. Senehis mission is to provide the most optimal care through excellent communication with patients, and comprehensive discussion of treatment options. Specializing in procedures that are not only innovative, but unique is quickly establishing him as one of the authority figures in his field.

Dr. Senehi and the staff gave me a very great experience considering it was my first surgery. They treated my very well and the whole surgery process was quick and easy. And unlike friends who got the same surgery with different doctors I did not feel much pain and the healing process was fast! If you are considering getting your wisdom teeth removed definitely come here you won't regret it!

This place is amazing! Dr. Senehi and the team are amazing! Big shoutout to my girl Julie who especially made me feel at home while being in the office! I love how professional everybody is but it's still all within fun spirits. You can't help but leave with a smile on your face because everybody is so sincere, sweet and positive! They make me want to be there all the time with them because you can just tell the camaraderie is so healthy. They make you feel like apart of the family and on a business level, they are very transparent. You will never walk away feeling like they ripped you off, no secrets, no unexpected occurrences. I recommend anybody who needs to get anything done (especially wisdom teeth considering that was the service I went to them for) they are my #1 pick! Thank you soo much to everybody there for making this experience a positive one!

I had the absolute BEST experience with Dr. Senehi's office, which sounds kind of crazy when you're talking about a dentist and oral surgeon. I had a cracked tooth and needed an implant, and from the very beginning, everyone there was extraordinarily kind, professional, and friendly. I was prescribed pain medication after the extraction, but I had little to no discomfort, so I never used it. I've healed beautifully, and my subsequent care has been wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Senehi and his entire staff, all of whom are warm and welcoming. They are truly exceptional!

I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out here and was a bit worried about the pain I'd be in but I had extremely minimal pain after and healed super quick too.

Had the most pleasant experience here removing my wisdom teeth , not only is the front desk so welcoming but julie and the doctor himself are truly the best , i felt comfortable every step of the way ! reading others reviews on what a great job the doctor does really helped me ease my nerves so i had to write a review my self and confirm that this is in fact THE BEST place for wisdom teeth removal , i've linked a photo of my face 2 days post op and i look amazing so many people couldn't believe i just had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out , a big thank you to everyone in this office :)

Working with Dr. Senehi and staff has been a pleasure! Dr. Senehi is an excellent physician as well as friendly & efficient. He takes every precaution in making sure that the outcome you are working toward comes to pass. If and when I need work done in the future, I will certainly go back to Dr. Senehi for his excellent service and special care.The front office staff is friendly and always makes me feel very welcome.

THE BEST! Hands down this was the best dental decision I made. Dr, Senehi has magic hands for sure. I went in for a third molar extraction and it was nothing like I imagined. I expected, pain, swelling, lots and lots of discomfort post surgery but none of that happened. Overall it was a good 2 weeks of recovery but I did not experience any major discomfort. Followed all the after procedure tips and steps and it went by smoothly. The team is super amazing too. They were all very friendly, answered every little question patiently till I felt comfortable. I also need to mention the detail and care that Dr. Senehi ensured to follow up personally after the procedure to check on me. That gave me an another level of comfort that I was in the right hands. Highly recommend to everyone especially those having second thoughts!

Dr. Senehi and his staff are absolutely wonderful! They are all very understanding to clients needs and work diligently to ensure that you're cared for in a timely manner. I had my wisdom teeth removed for the first time. Walking in I was nervous and weary about the process but the professionalism and care provided put my nerves at ease. I had the best experience with FOSI when I had my wisdom teeth removal. At first, I was so nervous about the procedure but the ambiance of the clinic and the friendly staff made me feel comfortable. Dr. Senehi, being one of the best doctors I've ever had, explained the procedure very well and made sure that everything will be fine, especially during the surgery. I'm so happy I was referred to him. I'm also thankful to Julie who explained everything that I need to know and do especially after the surgery. She's so nice and friendly as well as Ashley and Maya who helped me get the appointments that will best fit my schedule. They also reminded me days before the appointments and accommodated me since my first visit.

Would not have done it anywhere else !! I got my wisdom teeth removed and it went so much better than I could have imagined. Dr Senehi and his team did their job so well, if I ever had to get them done again I would 100% go back to them. They were so welcoming and assured me I would be in great hands and they weren't exaggerating at all. Once the procedure was done, I had minimal swelling, little to no pain (seriously) , and I was walking around the next day! Before the procuedure, they explained eveything very well to me so I wasn't nervous. His team is amazing as well, I love those ladies!! They contributed a big part and making sure I felt comfortable

Dr Navid Senehi has relieved my pain and discomfort stemming from the growth of my wisdom teeth and TMJ issues. He is kind, gentle, and attentive to all of my requests. Upon entering the building for my consultation, I was nervous about seeing a new doctor and trusting them to treat my issues. Dr Senehi and his whole team were extremely welcoming and ensured I was comfortable each step of the way. Removing my wisdom teeth was an easy process, thanks to Dr Senehi, as I had minimal swelling and pain. I was especially nervous about the swelling that happens after the extraction, and Dr Senehi assured me that he would not cause too much swelling. Lastly, I have suffered from constant headaches, wringing in my ear, and pain due to my TMJ issues. Dr Senehi was the first doctor who truly listened to my pain as opposed to assuming and helped me understand what is causing my pain. He treated me with botox in my jaws and I felt immediate relief the next day. I no longer have headaches, and I am able to eat an apple without any pain. I am truly grateful for Dr Senehi and his staff and strongly recommend you visit his office. Thank you so much doctor!

Dr. Senehi and his amazing team made the process of getting my wisdom teeth extracted so easy! I had put this procedure off for a long time but I am so glad I went to him. My first review ever! This exceptional team is worth every word. I needed 4 wisdom teeth extracted, had zero experience of what to expect, first in my family to get my wisdom teeth extracted. It's one thing when the Doctor is amazing, but a whole new experience when everyone involved in my time at FOSI truly left a mark. While Dr. Senehi is experienced (you will feel it right away), he's also humble and will took time to go over any concerns or questions I had even though he had a busy schedule PLUS I came in without an appointment because the pain was hard to manage and they still allowed me to walk-in without an appointment. He followed up with phone calls after my surgeries (I had 2) to make sure I was okay. Julie, assisted in both my surgeries, she is definitely a standard anyone in her position/field should follow! She's so kind and explained my post-surgery questions in regards to (food I can eat, meds, mouth wash, things to avoid,...basically anything I was worried about she knew a solution. She also has a fun and caring personality that makes any concerns you may have gone in an instant! Ashley, assisted me with financial options, she was transparent with any cost involved with my surgeries, she gave me a breakdown of all prices so I knew exactly what I was paying for before I made any commitment, so there was ZERO surprises in my bank statement, what was presented is exactly the amount I paid nothing more. Transparency was greatly appreciated! I'm tired of hospital costs that I pay and have almost no clue what half of the stuff is! Ashley was honest about everything. Celine, assisted in my 2nd surgery, I felt slightly drowsy after my 2nd surgery, which sometimes does happen, no biggie. They were kind enough to keep me in a room to relax until I felt good enough to drive. Celine actually walked me to the restroom and waited outside to make sure I'm okay and safe while walking back to the room I was resting in. So caring! All in all, extremely high standards in everything they did professionally and on a human to human level. Hard to believe a wisdom teeth experience was (fun) but this wonderful team made it happen. Can't recommend them enough PS: Julie played great music during surgery so I was jamming hahaha

We are new to the area, so when my son began experiencing oral pain caused by his wisdom teeth, I took to the internet to research Oral Surgeons in the area and found FOSI. Upon contacting the office, I spoke to Miranda who was extremely pleasant and eager to help. With a holiday quickly approaching and my son about to start college, Miranda worked her magic, scheduling a Panoramic x-ray and consultation with Dr. Senehi. My son and I were especially impressed by Dr. Senehi, who was extremely pleasant and thorough. Referencing the panoramic x-ray, he confirmed all four wisdom teeth needed to be extracted and provided a detailed overview of what to expect and scheduled a date for surgery. The surgery was a success, with no side effects other than experiencing normal swelling and bleeding. Dr. Senehi followed up with a call later that evening to make sure all was well and asked if we had any questions or concerns. Another member of his staff, Ashley was instrumental in working with our dental insurance carrier to process our claim. The insurance was new and we hadn't yet received an insurance card or member I.D. At his post-surgical visit a week following surgery, Dr. Senehi flushed the surgical area and was pleased with how he was healing, giving him the go ahead to eat a real meal. From start to finish, our experience with ALL at FOSI has been most pleasant. Pleasant enough that my other son will now have his wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Senehi. We highly recommend FOSI and Dr. Senehi!

Carol, Kim and the rest of the team are so sweet and caring, and I have had a very smooth recovery thanks to the extra care taken by Dr. Senehi throughout the process. Cannot recommend FOS enough!
