Dr. Anthony Shayegan graduated from the Kornberg School of Dentistry, formerly known as the Temple School of Dentistry, in 1999. Prior to studying at Dental School, he attended Temple University where he received his BS in Electrical Engineering. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Anthony takes time on a regular basis to attend continuing education classes, which ensures that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.

Often there is plaque and tartar that accumulates below the gum line. In this scenario, we will clean and smooth this area with special instruments to ensure that the area is completely spotless. If this area is not kept clean the entire area can become irritated with the bacteria that resides in the tartar and plaque. It's very important to have your dentist check this area if you have bleeding during brushing.

My son had an accident in the playground on Sunday and got his tooth chipped seriously. I was lucky enough to get connected with Exton Family Dentistry (with the help of Aetna dental insurance agent) on Monday morning and they accepted him as a new patient. He received expert examination and recommendations in the following years.

Had my first appointment on 2/22/2022. I had not been for a cleaning in a few years. The hygienist was named Amy, she was wonderful and cleaned my teeth and made me feel comfortable. She let me know what she was doing each step. She was kind and did a good job, for anyone who hates the dentist, having someone like her makes it easy. Dr. Anthony was very nice, but I can bet working with Amy makes work easier because she is knowledgeable and she's basically a Rockstar!
