Anjali is currently a sophomore in High School. She has been volunteering at Expressions Family Dental for two years. As the Marketing Coordinator, Anjali maintains our Website, Facebook page. Also, she assists with our advertising. Additionally, she really enjoys working with the staff at Expressions Family Dental, Waxhaw, NC and is grateful for this opportunity!
Dr.Nelatoor has completed 5 years of dental school prior to moving to the states, where she decided to pursue her DDS at NYU College of Dentistry, New York.She graduated with a DDS degree in 2004.She served the needs of DC and VA residents for 10 years,before moving to Charlotte in 2013.
Charlotte has been Dr.Nelatoor and her Familys home for the last 5 years.She has worked as a general dentist, treating the various dental needs of the young,adult and geriatric populations over these years. She has decided to bring her vast skills to her practice Expressions Family dental in Waxhaw,NC
Dr.Nelatoor is a member of the American Dental Association(ADA) and North Carolina Dental Association(NCDS).She has a passion for dentistry and hopes to brighten smiles of many more North Carolina residents,in years to come. Her motivation to pursue a career in dentistry came from watching her Dad,during her growing years,suffer from poor dental care. Her personal goal is to change one smile at a time.
Dr.Nelatoor enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids,and getting herself educated on the ever evolving changes in dentistry.She spends her time traveling, cooking and hanging out with friends.Earlier this year, she was able to go on a mission trip to Guatemala to serve the dental needs of the population there.

Best cleaning I have ever had! I have super sensitive teeth and I was always scared about dentist appointments. I had bad experience with dentists before and I was so scared to go to my cleanings. They took my anxiety serious and added more time for my cleaning. This was the best experience! Staff was super friendly and they take the word "family" serious! I am beyond grateful for this positive experience after years trying to find the right dentist. Well I found them. I highly recommend!!

The receptionists are so friendly and polite. The dentist and her assistant are kind, engaging and work fast, calmly and are gentle. They are accommodating with regards to time slots.

I do not enjoy going to the dentist but this place was great. Made me feel super comfortable from beginning to end. I highly recommend for anybody that typically doesn't have a good experience. Dare I say I had a good time? Weird to say but it's true.

I had always have phobia going to dentist or dental care. I had some unpleasant experience recently. So, I decided to try out Expressions Family Dental. It was best decision! Dede (I hope I got your name right) was so caring and made sure I knew I was in good hand. Dr. Nelatoor was friendly and gave me a thorough check. Definitely recommend!

Front desk staff is very welcoming, friendly and kind. The team was very professional in examining and providing solutions by priority. I had to do periodontal root cleaning and Dr Nelatoor did a great job, I felt that I was in good hands. Doctor explained very well what was going on. Thanks to Dr.Nelatoor!!!

The staff and Dr Nelatoor are very friendly. The Invisalign alignment is working wonderfully! It is easy to use and maintain. I highly recommend Dr Nelatoor for detail and orthodontic needs for her honest and cost effective options

Best cleaning I have ever had! Staff was super friendly and the office was spotlessly clean. The doctor shows you a live video of your teeth and they don't scrape your teeth! The worst part for some is the scraping cause it's like nails on a chalkboard but they use a high water pressure instrument that breaks up any plaque. The doctor was super friendly and welcoming as well. I made an appointment for my husband before I left. I highly recommend!!

Our entire family loves Expressions Family Dental. Dr. Suganya Nelatoor and her entire staff are personable, friendly, professional, and just fun. My daughter had less pain with 2 fillings at one time than with a single filling at another dentist. Dr. Nelatoor is kind and gentle. She explains everything she is doing, cares about you and you dental health, and wants what is best for you. They are are up to date with their instruments and care. Honestly the best dentist we have ever had.
