We opened our dental practice in 1992 and have been serving the College park community for close to three decades. We make every effort to bring affordable dentistry to families in our area.

I am pleasantly surprised by how wonderful this office has been to me. Not only are the employees kind hearted, they are also very knowledgeable when it comes to all things dentistry. Dr. Salimi knows his patients and really takes his time with each person individually. Another major plus in my books is the diversity throughout the office, that's very hard to come by. You won't be disappointed!
My experience was the best everybody was so nice and they made me feel so good and at ease because I was very nervous Dr. Salimi was very patient with me and took time to consider my emotions and was just very gentle when handling me. Want to thank all of the employees at expert smiles for making my visit a great one. I would recommend anyone to go.
Ive been to a few dentist and had some not so great experiences, but I must admit Dr. Salimi and his staff were amazing. They were very friendly and professional, I felt extremely comfortable in the office and they talked me through my visit. My visit was great and I will be sure to return to the office to finish up the work that I need completed on my teeth.
Ive always dreaded going to the dentist so naturally, upon my 1st visit, I was very uneasy. Dr. Salimi was extremely patient [as I asked about 100 questions transparent, and very informative in regards to every measure he took while performing the procedure. I inquired about some cosmetic procedures and he wasnt trying to sell me - he gave me his honest opinion which I appreciated. I highly recommend him and will be coming back!
Dr. Salimi is very knowledgeable, smart, and skillful. I would trust him with his diagnosis and recommendations all the time and I am so happy I became his patient. Definitely recommended, will go back for every dental work. His staff are welcoming and very professional as well.

The tech that did my cleaning lovrd her job, and took the time to do a thorough job. She was very pleasant and friendly. The dentist that extracted my tooth were lnowledgable and professional, got right down to business, reassured me and did a great job. Thank you Expert Smiles

I was a patient in this office for about two years. Despite all the ominous signs that I saw during this period, I made a mistake and decided to stay with them. In retrospect, I made a huge mistake, and hopefully, by reading this you will make the right decision and won't repeat my mistake. The office and the front desk are a complete mess. They are disorganized and when things go bad and you question them, they simply lie to you. To be honest, I tolerated a lot of these issues, until they lied and told me that for one of my operations, I did not have a pre-determination. While I was in the operating unit and waiting for the dentist to come and start, one of the office people came to me and said, "you need to pay more than $2100 for this operation". I did not accept that because that was way out of ordinary! When I objected, he sent someone else to me and the lies started! They told me that I did not have a predetermination for the operation and when I pay the full amount, they would absolutely submit everything to the insurance company, and they would pay me back! I trusted them and agreed to pay the full price (big mistake!!). Then days went by, and nothing happened! I called them multiple times to see if they received anything from the insurance company and finally, they told me that the insurance company paid zero dollars for the operations! This was the last straw! I contacted the insurance company and realized four very interesting things: 1) I did have a predetermination for one of the operations and they lied about that! 2) After the operation, the dentist's office submitted a claim to the insurance company for part of the operation and even got paid by the insurance company. So, not only they charged me for the full price, but they also got money from the insurance company! I reiterate the dentist never paid me back anything! 3) My responsibility for the operations was only about $500 and they charged me for more than $2100! 4) After the operation, they never provided any narratives to the insurance company to show the necessity of one of the operations. When I asked, they repeatedly said that they did submit such narratives (lies, lies and lies!!). Per my request, the insurance company tried to contact them multiple times (assuming that they just made a mistake) and each time people of "Expert Smiles" either did not respond or gave them some misinformation. I even explained everything in an email and sent the dentist all the evidence. Unfortunately, so far, they have not reimbursed me. The level of unprofessionalism at this office and what they are doing for $1600 is unbelievable. Finally, I had enough and decided to ask the insurance company to do an investigation. I am still waiting for the outcomes. When you go to a dentist, you trust them with your life. These people would lie to you for a relatively small amount of money. Now, ask yourself, would you trust them with your teeth and life?

I absolutely love this dentist office. The front desk is amazing especially Diamond ! The service is is so great and timely that I referred my husband to this office as well. I came here with a complaint that I had for over 10 years. Prior to this office, no one could find my cause of pain. After one visit, the dentist was able to locate my the problem and make plans to address it. I was so relieved it brought tears to my eyes. I recommend this dentist, 10 out of 10.
