We use our teeth every day to bite, chew, and chomp, but how much do you actually know about them? Teeth are fascinating in and of themselves. From the second we are born our teeth are constantly changing.
This year is flying by really fast! Its already March and April is coming up pretty soon. Speaking of which, did you know that April is National Pet Month? That got us thinkingif you take a look at animal teeth, how different are they?

Although dental implants dont require extensive care like other dental prostheses, proper care and maintenance are still crucial. Doing so not only prevents potential damage but also helps avoid complications, such as bleeding and infections. Read on to learn how to take care of your dental implants properly.
Cleaning your dental implants is similar to how you brush your natural teeth. So, its essential to brush your teeth at least twice a day or after every meal. But, there are certain measures you should add to your routine to ensure proper care is given to your implants.
One of them is switching to a soft-bristled toothbrush. Its best to use one with extra soft bristles since hard bristles may irritate the gums around the dental implant when you brush your teeth. Besides that, opting for a gentle, non-abrasive toothpaste is also ideal. Using this will prevent scratches or damage to your artificial teeth, which might cause oral discomfort.
Flossing helps remove food, bacteria, and plaque in between your teeth. So, despite being overlooked at times, flossing your teeth is crucial in maintaining proper oral hygiene. You can use regular floss or floss picks for your dental implants. Another option is water flossers, which are excellent for hard-to-reach areas, including implants placed further in your mouth.

I haven't been to the dentist in a VERY long time and was worried what my dentist would think. My hygienist and Dr. Foster were incredibly understanding and I didn't feel judged at all. Dr. Foster thoroughly explained my x-ray results, all the procedures I would need done, and all my options. The front desk and administration is also super sweet and helpful. My treatment coordinator broke down and itemized all my procedures and how much each would be covered by insurance. Overall a really great experience!

I visited this location as a new patient on July 1st. I paid $304 for an x-ray which included an $84 cleaning. I was told by one dentist that I did not have periodontal disease and then told by a different one within 5min that I did. I was told they would not be able to clean my teeth -- which is what I came to this location for. They told me I'd need a "deep clean" before they could do a regular cleaning. Neither of them could explain why I was told I had periodontal disease by one dentist and then that I didn't have it by another all within a 5min span. They "couldn't" refund the $84 because it was still "processing". They explained to me that they would call me today and did not. I want my refund for the cleaning I did not receive -- in fact, I want a refund for the entire visit because I feel like I was absolutely deceived at this business. I would not recommend visiting this business for your dental needs as they seem very untrustworthy.
