Accomplishing those goals through the delivery of excellent clinical dentistry, and to do so with the least possible stress.
Excellent Dental was opened in 1983 by Dr. Fred Renfro who was a local Dentist looking to serve his community. As business grew Dr. Renfro sought out a partner that held similar practice philosophies and valued the community as much as he did. Dr. Lindt was the perfect fit, and came on in 2009. After 4 years of practicing together, Dr. Renfro set plans to retire and Dr. Lindt bought the practice from him in August of 2013. Dr. Lindt has since been in practice by himself. He prides himself on the principles and values the clinic was built on, and still holds them today. As Excellent Dental continues to grow, Dr. Lindt ensures that he maintains the same passion for his community that drove Dr. Renfro to open those 37 years ago.
Dr. Lindt grew up in New Braunfels and moved to Wise County upon completion of his dental degree. Dr. Lindt received his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Dental Branch. Dr. Lindts commitment to dental health and education has led him to join several professional organizations: American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association,ADPAC, and Ft. Worth District Dental Society. Dr. Lindt is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, where he is pursuing a fellowship. In his free time, Dr. Lindt enjoys being involved in the local community and spending time with his wife, Suzanne, and their two children, Annika and Andrew. As a family, they take pleasure in camping, hunting, fishing, and traveling.
Amber loves helping patients achieve optimum oral health. Thats why she chose a dental career after graduating from Decatur High School and then continued her education atTWU, obtaining a Registered Dental Hygiene degree. Comfort and education are areas of Ambers expertise while providing the latest in dental hygiene, periodontal therapy and esthetics. Have questions about teeth whitening? Ask Amber.

Have been coming here for 8 years now! Live 35 miles away, but by far the best dentist, and most fantastic staff around! They TRULY care about their patients, and it shows! I actually ENJOY going to the dentist now! And they treat everyone like family!

Very pleased with the care received. Attentive staff, easy scheduling. Dr. Lindt was very responsive to calming my "chair anxiety" and fitted my crown with considerable checking to see that my bite was optimal. The prices are very reasonable. Would recommend him to others.

Over priced dental procedures by 50% and will not perform what we expected but referred us to a different oral surgeon when he could do the task himself. Will fit your insurance and wallet

Just had the best experience with Dr Lindt and his staff using nasal anesthesia instead of the shot in the front gums to numb my mouth so he could fix a small cavity. Couldn't even tell that it had been numbed. Would definitely recommend you give it a try and excellent dental is ahead of others since they have it and others don't

We have used Excellent Dental for all of our family's needs for several years and are always happy with the staff, Dr. Lindt, and the services we receive. We were going out of town recently and were able to get in to see Dr. Lindt the day before we left with only a day's notice. My daughter had a tooth that was loose, but wouldn't come out. Dr. Lindt was very patient with her, very gentle, and when he took out the tooth she didn't even notice. She left happy and so did I!
