Dr. Bo Tran grew up in Pleiku, Vietnam. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California-Irvine and graduated from dental school at Midwestern University. Growing up, Dr. Bo didnt have access to quality healthcare, and that inspired him to become a dentist so he could fill that need for others. He loves dentistry because it combines his two passions: science and creating art with his hands. Dr. Bo also enjoys road trips, basketball and meditation, and his favorite procedures are extractions and root canals because they give patients instant pain relief. His goal for his patients is to treat each of them the way he would want to be treated.
Dr. Kyle Michelsen grew up in The Woodlands, TX. He completed his undergraduate studies at Oklahoma State University in Physiology and then graduated dental school from the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Kyle enjoys spending his free time with family and friends at various lakes throughout Oklahoma. His other hobbies include photography, board games, and traveling. His goal is to exceed your expectations by providing you with the highest quality care and to ensure every patient receives a positive experience.
I enjoy hanging out with my wife and two children. We love the outdoors, hiking, and biking. I grew up on a small farm in northern Utah, and had the opportunity to raise cattle, pigs and sheep. I enjoyed showing animals at the county fair growing up, and look forward to allowing my children the same opportunity. I learned the value of hardwork and other valuable life lessons growing up on a farm. I love family dentistry and developing relationships with my patients and their families. Im working right now on extra training to perfect dental implants and Invisalign orthodontics.

Very bad service. Brought my mom for the new patient service they advertise online for $89 and they refuse to do the cleaning for her. Charged her $54 for just an exam when it's advertised for $39 online. Would not recommend. False advertising.

The dentist cleaned my teeth real good. She got most of the stains off. I was impressed. I had a great experience. I will keep coming back.

Mario was very welcoming and friendly as soon as I walked in. The hygienist, Mariellie did a thorough clean and was very personable and kind. She even remembered details from our conversation the last time I was in (6 months ago)! Lastly the dentist came in and took time to discuss my concerns and treatment options. I never felt rushed or pressured. He was very professional but not daunting, like some dentists can be. Overall great experience. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a new dental team.

Dr. Tran Bo is amazing!!!!! My entire family received dental care at Excel dentistry and braces. The hygienist and Doctor were very thorough in diagnosing and treatment planning. They took the time to show X-rays and pictures to explain necessary treatment. The pricing was reasonable and received copy of treatment plans and costs.

Very unprofessional not a good place to go the staff there unprofessional that's why they're so cheap everyone that wrote something on here works there r has a friend that works here the only reason I put one star so I could write something but they don't deserve the one star STAY AWAY from this place r u will regret it like I did they don't care about patients there laughing the whole time you're in pain and they're working on your mouth

I went into this place last month when I was having extreme pain in a root canal tooth from 3 years ago. Of course they had to refer me to an root canal specialist. I went to the root canal specialist and paid nearly $300 for scans of my tooth. The specialist said its likely a small fracture at the root of the tooth and that I would need to go back to my regular dentist that referred me to get the tooth pulled. I call up to Excel Dentistry and let them know what the specialist said and they told me no problem and set the appointment for another week out to get the tooth extracted and even told me over the phone how much it would cost. TWO HOURS BEFORE my appointment I was called and told that they couldn't do the procedure and I would have to go to a specialist. This is the worst experience hands down and I would not recommend this place to anyone. & it seems like I just keep wasting time and money when I just want to not be in pain anymore.

I had been with this clinic for 2 years prior to the new ownership that recently bought it out and used to have really amazing things to say about this place and the doctors and staff that worked here. But ever since I've been back the communication has been very unorganized, and prices seem to change between each person I speak to, and it seems that they need x-rays every chance they get without patiently explaining the reasons for things. I have been working with Dr Bo, and have appreciated his thorough and focused nature if I have had some struggle communicating with the front desk, he has made it right and eventually it seems they figure it out. But unfortunately I had the terrible experience of allowing Dr Coleman to examine me yesterday instead of my usual doctor. I walked in explaining I was nervous already because I wasn't seeing my normal doctor. I asked if they would play some nature sounds to help me relax. That ought to give somebody an indicator that I haven't anxiety and to be gentle with me. I have a feeling that they had a completely different conversation about me behind closed doors. Must have gone something like, "this girl's going to be a chore lookout!" Because I got nothing but attitude from this doctor as she accused me of having attitude, when I asked questions about why she needed to get more x-rays, and trying to tell her where my pain was, she was VERY impatient with me, and I had just gotten some x-rays two months ago... Seems fair that I would ask why those weren't good enough to still use, x-rays aren't cheap. Mind you I don't have any issues when you can answer my questions thoroughly I usually calm down, but she answered my question with an attitude then accused me of having an attitude. Then I had to explain to her that it simply didn't make sense to me that I needed all these extra X-rays I thought I was just getting a filling today. Now you're telling me I need to see a specialist and I may be a root canal... Any normal person can understand why this would cause somebody on a budget lots of stress and questions. This was not a person I felt comfortable asking questions if I didn't have the perfect tone for her. Since when does the patient who's nervous have to tippy toe around eggshells for the doctor desired attitude?? I wasn't rude I didn't cuss, at best I was tense, but it wasn't AT her, I was simply stressed, and the reason should have been obvious I don't know why she would take it personal, because I was stressed about money. I will never come back to this dentists office again. I will never be treated that way by a so-called professional again. She wants to help people regulate their attitudes maybe she should work at a boot camp or something and not a dentist office... If you want my opinion on how you could improve your office, I would ask that you guys hire some doctors that have some people skills. It's not all about the money if it is you sure have a wrong way of obtaining it because you lost me with that doctor.
