Previously know as The Wand, uses advanced sensing technology to gently and precisely administer anesthetic to fully desensitize the targeted area. Patients find the want gentler than traditional shots.

An intraoral digital camera is a pen-sized wand with a tiny camera embedded in the tip. Once inserted into a patients mouth, the camera can video the interior and then transmit the data to a computer where enlarged, full color images can be viewed by both the dentist and the patient. Patients are now able to see their own dental problems exactly as their dentist sees them. The camera is able to more accurately reveal dental issues in their early stages, and also identify areas that require close monitoring or extra attention to hygiene.

This method provides the same high-quality X-ray images with exposing our patients to much less radiation. By eliminating radiation exposure to patients by 90% over traditional x-rays, digital radiography has completely transformed the x-ray process. No more dark rooms or hazardous chemicals are needed to process the film. Inexpensive, accurate images can be immediately viewed, magnified, adjusted, transferred, reproduced, and stored on computer for patient education. By using non-metal dentures, fillings and crowns, we offer a complete list of aesthetic restoration.

Knowing that Dentistry was my calling, I left the sandy shores of San Diego and moved my life to the eastern seaboard to achieve my dream. I obtained my Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the Ivy League Columbia University in New York. Following my graduation, my General Dentistry residency was done at The Ohio State University.

I provide my patients with state of the art dental techniques, while in a comfortable, calm environment. It is my priority to personalize each visit while making sure my patients are fully knowledgeable about their oral health needs.

My work doesnt end when I lock the doors to the office, however. I keep myself current and updated by routinely attending continued education seminars to stay on the cutting edge of the latest clinical technologies.

When I am not creating healthy, beautiful smiles, you can catch a glimpse of me at a football or basketball game. My wife Sarah and I enjoy residing in Chicago, but when we do catch a day off we take the opportunity to travel.

Micki joined Excel Dental Studio in June of 2015. She loves to help people. I treat people the way I want to be treated. Making patients feel comfortable from their first phone call to our office and helping them achieve their dental goals is why I have been in the dental field for over 20 years. We have fantastic patients which makes my job easy! Micki is a married mom of 3 and 2 fur babies. She enjoys traveling, cooking, football, and spending time with her family.

Brittney has been part of Excel Dental Studio since January of 2019 as a business assistant. She has been in the dental field for over 10 years and loves to help maintain healthy smiles. The reason she entered the dental field was due to a personal experience in braces at a young age. Brittney has been married to her husband Michael since May 2017. She has two pug fur babies that are her pride and joy, Emma and Earl. She loves traveling all over the world, crafting, scuba diving, and cooking. Brittney is very happy and blessed to be a part of the Excel Dental Studio staff.

Joy has been a hygienist at Excel Dental Studio since June of 2015. She graduated from Indiana University Northwest 2009 at the top of her class. One of her favorite parts of being a hygienist is providing care to her patients with a smile and a positive attitude. I cater to cowards. I dont want anyone to be nervous or uncomfortable in my chair. Joy is a married mom of two, and outside of the office, she enjoys photography, quilting, and travel.

Denise has been with Excel Dental since the beginning. Denise has been working as a dental hygienist since she graduated from Indiana University in 1998. Denise is passionate about educating her patients about oral health and how it affects their overall wellbeing. She is dedicated to expanding her skills with continuing education and holds a license to administer local anesthetic. Denisecaresfor all her patients with the utmost respect, patience, and empathy. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, biking, and reading. Denise feels very lucky to work with such a smart and compassionate dental team lead by Dr. Bahl.

Nicole joined the Excel Dental team in October of 2012, after graduating from Indiana University Northwest. She currently holds a certificate in dental assisting and expanded functions. She joined the dental field because she recognized how important a healthy smil~ is to an individualsconfidence. Nicole and her husband enjoy spending time with their twp dogs Bella and Finley. Nicoles favorite hobbies include traveling, shopping, and working out. Nicole loves being a part of the family at Excel Dental Studio.

Ashley joined Excel Dental in May of 2019. She has been in the dental field for over 12 years. In addition to being an EFDA, Ashby also teaches Dental assisting. She loves making patients feel comfortable and confident. Ashby and her husband reside in Lowell, IN with their four wonderful children who keep them very busy! In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, dancing, meditating, reading, and dining out with friends.

Holly has been with Excel Dental Studio since August of 2019. Holly started out 9 years ago as a dental assistant, where she moved up to an Expanded Functions assistant, and then went on to Dental Hygiene school. She has been practicing Hygiene for 3 years and is now an instructor in the program where she graduated from. She is very education-oriented and is always looking to expand her skills. She loves the opportunity tomake the nervous patient more comfortable and ease their fears of coming to the Dentist. In her free time, she loves to travel, fish, and cook. She has an 18-year-old daughter who is currently pursuing her dreams of becoming a doctor at Washington University in St. Louis. Holly is very grateful to be working with such a good team and looks forward to her future with the office.

Kylie is the newest member of the Excel Dental team. She began her scholastic journey in 2016 working as a dental assistant for two years. She enjoyed the experience so much, it led her to choose a career path and apply for dental hygiene school. She spent the next four years pursuing her education at Indiana University where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in dental Hygiene in 2020. Her goal is to provide the best quality of care and create a comfortable environment for every patient. Outside ofhygiene, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling to new places, and shopping. Kylie is very excited to be apart of the Excel Dental team!
