Dr. Roosta graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a Masters in Biology, before that she earned her MBA from Canada. She pursued her dream of becoming a dentist and graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School. At dental school, she was accepted to become a Pediatric Clerk, where she received additional training in dentistry for children. Then she completed a one-year residency training in Advanced General Dentistry (AGD) Program at the University of Maryland. The program provided her to manage more complex cases.
Throughout dental school, Dr. Roosta provided dental care to underserved communities in the Baltimore area. Continuing education and dental outreach service remain priorities for her. Dr. Roosta is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and Howard County Dental Association.

I decided to pick Excel Dental Care at Ellicott City as my primary dental office. My first visit was about last week and I strongly feel that Dr. Roosta is the best dentist I could have asked for. She was very informative, explained every details of the procedure, and even provided me with more information about things you didn't think about but are essential for your family's dental care. She is also very focused and she desires to make sure things are done properly. The office staff checked me in on-time and with a smile and also admitted me out with the smile. I am very pleased with my decision.

I love this place! Dr. Maryam Roosta and her team provided the best dental experience I've ever had. Dr. Roosta is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and will educate us on any concerns. I also experienced no pain! I'll definitely recommend Excel Dental Care to everyone I know and continue coming here for years to come :)

This is new place for me since my dentist left. Friend recommended Dr. Maryam Roosta; Excel Dental Care. We, my wife and me visited and started Getting done our dental work with Dr. Maryam. And we are glad. Like her work very through and neat! Also Dr. And staff is very friendly , kind and helpful With great smile. Love the EXCEL DENTAL Place. Dr Roosta is truly an amazing dentist and professional. I had seen other dentists in the area in the past, and did not have a good experience. She took the time to make sure I was well informed about my dental health, and did an amazing job with my dental procedures. She is also so skilled at communicating complex dental health issues in laymens terms. I walked out of her office with a detailed care regimen, and I am so much more confident and comfortable with my dental health. Their office is very clean, and takes COVID precautions very seriously. I would truly recommend Dr Roosta if you are looking for a caring, knowledgeable, compassionate, dedicated, and skilled dental expert, for she truly made a difference in my dental health experiences.

Had crown prep for broken tooth. The Dentist explained every detail of the prep necessary, used updated technology to take pictures versus molds, and did an excellent job in selecting proper color. The numbing process was near painless! I had the new crown within a week. The staff is professional and the Dentist is very particular, compassionate, and caring. The office is immaculate, and it is very obvious that there has been a significant investment in this practice. HIGHLY recommend!
