I received my Associates in Business Administration from Schoolcraft College and started in the dental field in 2018. I became a part of Everwell Dentistry in the Summer of 2019. Youve probably talked to me on the phone or will soon, as I take care of patient care and scheduling needs. I live in Livonia with my 3 cats & 2 dogs.
I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2000 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. I then received my anesthetic license from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2003. I grew up in Canton and have worked most of my career there, but when I moved to the Ann Arbor area in 2017 I found Everwell Dentistry. I love being a dental hygienist and knew since I was a teenager that this is what I wanted to do. I love where I am at today and am grateful to be a part of this wonderful team.
I have been with Dr. Embree since 2002 and I really enjoy working in the hygiene field. I graduated from Kellogg Community College in 2000 with an Assoc.of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2002 with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Dental Hygiene and received my Anesthetic license from the Univ. of Michigan in 2003. My desire to be a dental hygienist began when I was about 10 years old, and my major interest is in periodontal therapy. I live in Ann Arbor with my husband and 2 daughters.
I came to Everwell Dentistry in the Fall of 2021 looking for a new dental home. I graduated in 1999 from Kellogg Community College with a degree in Applied Science - Dental Hygiene. Being a practicing dental hygienist for over 20 years has taught me that not everyone's treatment is the same and to adjust to the task at hand. My goals are to continue to care for patients with compassion and kindness, and to help patients reach their best oral health. I live in Milan with my husband and two children. When not at work you will find me on a pool deck, soccer field or football field cheering and supporting my kids.
I am originally from Damascus, Syria and moved to the U.S. in 2013 to pursue my educational goals. I graduated from the dental assisting program at WCC in 2015. My desire to further my education in the dental field led me to pursue my bachelors degree in dental hygiene. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2020 with high honors. I am a registered dental hygienist and I have licensure in administrating nitrous oxide and local anesthesia.
Throughout my academic and clinical career, I have had many opportunities to volunteer to offer free dental care to patients from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. In February 2020, I was selected to participate in a two-week outreach program in Meru, Kenya. My goal is to bridge the socioeconomic gap in access to dental care and increase oral health awareness.
In my spare time, I like to hang out with friends and try different cuisines. I love learning new languages, so I am always trying to connect with people from different backgrounds to learn about new cultures and languages.
I became a member of the Everwell Dentistry team in the Fall of 2020. I'm originally from Battle Creek, MI where I graduated from Kellogg Community College with an Associate's Degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. I have always known I wanted to help people in my career choice as a dental hygienist. I love helping my patients have a clean mouth and a healthy, beautiful smile. In my spare time I love relaxing at home with my fianc and my dog.
I received my dental assisting certificate from Ross Medical Education Center and have been a dental assistant since 2010. I worked with Dr. Embree and Dr. Heys from 2016 to 2018 and am now happy to be back working with them both again. I love helping patients feel as comfortable as possible. I have two children who keep me very busy outside of work. We love to play outside and make a lot of arts and crafts.
I graduated from Washtenaw Community College with an Associates Degree in Applied Science.I am a licensed Registered Dental Assistant. I love working in dentistry with the many procedures that we provide. I also enjoy all of our wonderful patients and the great staff here at Everwell Dentistry.

This is a wonderful dentist practice that uses state-of-the-art technology and also uses safe practices regarding covid. Everyone there is super friendly and we highly recommend Everwell Dentistry!

Everyone is very friendly in the office, they have extremely good COVID-19 precautions, and they know how to treat even those patients that are more nervous. Highly recommend Dr. Embree and her team.

Dr. Embry is my favorite dentist that I have ever met. I wish I could take her with me when I move. She does such a great job of explaining things. The whole staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I highly recommend this place!

I chose Everwell Dentistry at a colleague's recommendation and since my previous dentist was not a PPO and I did not have coverage through her. They take great measures to reduce the risk of contracting COVID. I visited them for bonding. My bonding chipped after 5 days. So I have to go back and get that fixed. The business as a whole, is very poor. Here are the cons: - The folks in the admin office and dental assistants have really bad attitude. - Canceled my appointment after I got there since the retainers did not arrive on time. Did not have the courtesy to check sooner and inform me. - The admin wanted to double charge me for the retainer upon checkout. Professional staff should always check the records before asking for money. - Tried to postpone my appointment by a week and only after I insisted she double checked the system and figured I still could get the retainers later in the day. - The dental assistant initially got impressions for upper and lower teeth but I only received an upper teeth retainer. I was even charged for both and had to contact them later to get reimbursed for the extra charge. - The retainer was extremely loose and I got another impression which did not fit again. I had to leave the office after spending so much time and after one month with no working retainers. They did tell me that they will reimburse me for the retainer though. In general, I observed that the staff are unprofessional and unaccommodating. Also they are not good at aesthetic jobs and retainers. I had the retainers at Dr. Brust office. They prepared it in 1 day and it was perfect.

Dr. Sandra Embree is a very warm, caring individual, who happens to be extremely good at what she does professionally. I regard myself lucky to have her as my dentist: she is the best dentist I ever have had. She easily and completely relates to my hypothetical (a.k.a. ambiguous) descriptions of dental concerns/issues. I am pleased with her thoroughness in treating the problem areas - she is a brick house builder not a straw house builder. She has a laser-sharp precision with fitting, i.e., she has the Midas touch. I always leave her office satisfied because I always receive a whole package of excellence - her expertise, my dental hygienist, dental assistants, and friendly office staff. And, last but not the least -- her COVID-19 operational procedures and high-tech dental technologies and equipment are part of the excellence.

I'm a healthcare tech entrepreneur and entrepreneurship professor at University of Michigan Ross School of Business... and I am blown away by the level of operational rigor that this dental practice exercises to keep us all safe during Covid. My family and I have been with them for decades, but in these unsafe times, I'm especially appreciative of the combination of their world-class dentistry and their impressive and thorough sanitation practices, ranging from custom air filtration equipment to constant gown and mask changes. Everwell Denistry is a wonderful Dentist's office. The staff are all very friendly and do a great job cleaning teeth. It has never been painful and they have helped me with issues I've had with grinding my teeth and cavities. It is always easy to schedule appointments, which is a plus!

I've been to my fair share of dentists, but I have to say I was genuinely impressed with Everwell. Great COVID precautions, super friendly people. All the equipment is great and clean. They took my x-rays right in the seat--these sort of minor details add up for a nice experience. In terms of expertise, it was clear to me they were top notch. They even seemed to know what resin my old fillings were made of. They took way more measurements than other places and pulled my x rays right up and looked at areas of concern with me. I'm sure this stem from the fact that the people I talked to had studied at U of M, which is of course world class (so I can only assume they have a great dental program). I had a dentist in the past that would mention various interesting biological facts about teeth and how to keep them healthy, which I've always enjoyed and found useful. I would be interested in hearing more about that from them, especially since they are so knowledgeable, but I realize that some customers would want just the opposite. Their registration form is easy to fill out and in-depth (which I think is a good though). They got my insurance all connected up so I just walked in and walked out--no fuss! I've had some dentists try to push services on me, or even tell me that I should have some whitening done! Everwell was very matter of fact: here is where you are on the whiteness scale. If you are happy with that great, if not--we can help! All in all, I will be returning to the excellent institution.
