I received my Associates in Business Administration from Schoolcraft College and started in the dental field in 2018. I became a part of Everwell Dentistry in the Summer of 2019. Youve probably talked to me on the phone or will soon, as I take care of patient care and scheduling needs. I live in Livonia with my 3 cats & 2 dogs.
I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2000 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. I then received my anesthetic license from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2003. I grew up in Canton and have worked most of my career there, but when I moved to the Ann Arbor area in 2017 I found Everwell Dentistry. I love being a dental hygienist and knew since I was a teenager that this is what I wanted to do. I love where I am at today and am grateful to be a part of this wonderful team.
I have been with Dr. Embree since 2002 and I really enjoy working in the hygiene field. I graduated from Kellogg Community College in 2000 with an Assoc.of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2002 with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Dental Hygiene and received my Anesthetic license from the Univ. of Michigan in 2003. My desire to be a dental hygienist began when I was about 10 years old, and my major interest is in periodontal therapy. I live in Ann Arbor with my husband and 2 daughters.
I came to Everwell Dentistry in the Fall of 2021 looking for a new dental home. I graduated in 1999 from Kellogg Community College with a degree in Applied Science - Dental Hygiene. Being a practicing dental hygienist for over 20 years has taught me that not everyone's treatment is the same and to adjust to the task at hand. My goals are to continue to care for patients with compassion and kindness, and to help patients reach their best oral health. I live in Milan with my husband and two children. When not at work you will find me on a pool deck, soccer field or football field cheering and supporting my kids.
I am originally from Damascus, Syria and moved to the U.S. in 2013 to pursue my educational goals. I graduated from the dental assisting program at WCC in 2015. My desire to further my education in the dental field led me to pursue my bachelors degree in dental hygiene. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2020 with high honors. I am a registered dental hygienist and I have licensure in administrating nitrous oxide and local anesthesia.
Throughout my academic and clinical career, I have had many opportunities to volunteer to offer free dental care to patients from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. In February 2020, I was selected to participate in a two-week outreach program in Meru, Kenya. My goal is to bridge the socioeconomic gap in access to dental care and increase oral health awareness.
In my spare time, I like to hang out with friends and try different cuisines. I love learning new languages, so I am always trying to connect with people from different backgrounds to learn about new cultures and languages.
I became a member of the Everwell Dentistry team in the Fall of 2020. I'm originally from Battle Creek, MI where I graduated from Kellogg Community College with an Associate's Degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. I have always known I wanted to help people in my career choice as a dental hygienist. I love helping my patients have a clean mouth and a healthy, beautiful smile. In my spare time I love relaxing at home with my fianc and my dog.
I received my dental assisting certificate from Ross Medical Education Center and have been a dental assistant since 2010. I worked with Dr. Embree and Dr. Heys from 2016 to 2018 and am now happy to be back working with them both again. I love helping patients feel as comfortable as possible. I have two children who keep me very busy outside of work. We love to play outside and make a lot of arts and crafts.
I graduated from Washtenaw Community College with an Associates Degree in Applied Science.I am a licensed Registered Dental Assistant. I love working in dentistry with the many procedures that we provide. I also enjoy all of our wonderful patients and the great staff here at Everwell Dentistry.
