Dr. Warnock: Going to the dentist every six months is just a misnomer. The older we get, the more often we should come because our bodies break down. Our immune systems dont work as well. There are antibodies in your saliva that help to combat the diseases of the mouth. I think thats a damage to peoples health by that misnomer.
Dr. Warnock: I hate going to the dentist. I have a fear just of needles in general. I also want to make sure that my patients dont have that same fear. My dad taught me a technique for numbing people. First, we use a topical anesthesia. Then will ask for our patients to breathe through their nose. As soon as their mouth opens, they want to breathe through it, so its a distraction. We work very hard to try and make sure that nobody feels anything. We also work very hard at having a fun team so that when people come in, they know that were having a fun time. That everybodys smiling.
Dr. Warnock: I recommend an electric toothbrush, a sonic toothbrush. I think its the best toothbrush on the market. I dont make any money on it. I dont get any kickbacks on it. A manual toothbrush is not healthy, and too many people dont brush properly. The proper brushing technique is to take your toothbrush, stick it at a forty-five-degree angle right at the gum and youre not even supposed to brush back and forth. Its more of a shimmy so that the bristles move, while the bottom of the bristles stays.
Dr. Warnock: I have 500 steers that I manage with two of my good friends. And thats a feedlot for beef cattle. When Im not doing that, we also have a calf cow operation of about 18 cows that give calves. I have five chickens. I have four dogs. Theyre a breed called a Kuvasz, theyre a Hungarian breed. Why Im so passionate about them is theres less than twenty thousand of them left in the world and that puts them on the path towards extinction because the gene pool now prevents them from growing properly. Its going to require a big effort to continue for this breed to succeed. Theyre dear to my heart because their livestock guardian breeds and so they guard livestock. Theyre part of what we do on the farm as they eliminate predators. I have two boys, 17 and 20, both brilliant. My oldest son and I were standing in line at an amusement park, studying MCAT questions, and I was impressed. Ethan, my youngest son, is working right now landscaping. Im very proud of him for working every weekend and saving his money and using it for his gas and things like that. I like that hes in landscaping because I think that its one closer step to farming. He wants to build businesses like his uncle, Caleb.

Very straightforward dental practice. No small talk which is fine, I'm not big on chit chat myself. My comfort was definitely a top priority. All in all not a bad visit to the dentist.

I was scheduled to have one crown removed and a new crown put in, and two cavities taken care of. I was told it would be 3 hours. Actually it only lasted an hour and 45 minutes, pain-free, and the crown is perfect! Kudos to doc and Rachel for a very very fine job! Highly recommend this place.

My first time here at Evers Dental. Even though I'm a coward when it comes to the dentist, they made me feel relaxed and like there is light at the end of the tunnel. Very glad I found you.

Everyone has been so pleasant and calming. I have had several cleanings and some procedures. I have not been uncomfortable as they keep checking on that throughout. Lots of effort goes into making sure the patient understand what is going to happen. I would really recommend them for those of us who have a real fear of dentists.

Choosing a new dentist is extremely challenging, especially when there are so many providers. I want to let everyone know Dr. Evers and his staff provide excellent customer service from the moment you place your first call to schedule an appointment, in scheduling future appointments, and alleviating all anxieties surrounding dental procedures. Everyone is extremely friendly, professional, and personable; making you feel as if you are their most important patient. The waiting room and exam rooms are very modern and welcoming; I have never been kept waiting longer than five minutes for any appointment. The staff are very cheerful and accommodating, especially when having to make last minute appointment changes. Dr. Evers' professionalism and experience is only matched by his warm and calming demeanor. He and his staff provided the preliminary education regarding my dental procedures and ensured I was comfortable at ALL times. My experience was awesome! The wait time was next to none. They brought me back, she sat me in the chair, and we talked for quiet a bit before anything ever got started. The conversation was genuine about my teeth. They truly care about you, and what's best. I don't think I'll go anywhere else now lol.

This is my second year of going to Evers Dental Center. I have nothing but the best to say about the doctor and all his staff. They all have been so nice and effecient in taking care of me and my teeth. I also think the charges for their services are lower than other dentists in our area.
