Evergreen Hills Dental Group opened in 2012 and has become one of the fastest-growing dental offices in the area. We are in the Canyon Creek Plaza, located at 5645 Silver Creek Valley Road in San Jose, CA.
Dr. Eric learned the importance of listening and caring for people from his parents. From a young age, I knew I wanted a career in health care. I chose dentistry, because it is one of the few fields in health care where the doctor can spend more than five minutes with his or her patient. I want my patient to feel that I care, and that they are not just a number in the health care system.
It was at University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry where Dr. Eric earned his doctor degree. During his time there, he received the Dr. Henry A. Sutro Award for the rehabilitation design and the Quintessence Restorative Award for outstanding performance in clinical restorative dentistry. Prior to dental school, Dr. Eric graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Biologyworking hard as a student and a DAT Instructor teaching students all concepts necessary to achieve high marks on the Dental Admissions Test.
When Dr. Eric is not working or reading, he likes to practice Spanish speakinga talent he picked up in high school. He is also a big fan of fitness, working as a personal trainer for close family and friends and coaching the junior high school basketball team at Silver Creek High School whenever time allows. His love for basketball speaks volume and you can hear it in his conversations with his patients.
Dr. Trang joined Evergreen Hills Dental Group in 2019. She grew up in a small town in Da Nang, Vietnam. She came to America when she was seventeen years old and have lived in multiple states. However, nowhere feels quite like home to her than California. Dr. Trang recently moved back to Northern California to be closer to family. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, watching movies, going on road trips and traveling the world.
Dr. Trang attended college at Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. From there she attended dental school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She was recognized on the Deans list, the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry, and Advanced Standing Student in the Endodontic Department. After graduation, she worked as an Associate Dentist in Palm Springs, California. Then, joining Evergreen Hills Dental Group whose entire team has given her the affirmation she needed to make her feel right at home and making her job feel more rewarding.
As a dentist, she believes in treating her patients as a whole. She believes in the importance of communication and putting together an amazing team to create the best dental experience for you. Restorative Dentistry is her passion; however, she enjoys all aspects of Dentistry. In the future, she wants to commit herself with further learning and professional growth by conducting more complex dental cases and by taking more Continuing Education courses.
Dr. Trangs goal is to become a skillful and experienced General Dentist who is also confident, knowledgeable, and sympathetic to provide a high standard of care, all while creating a long-lasting relationship to bring happy smiles in people's lives.
Dr. Natalie joined Evergreen Hills Dental in 2019 after completing residency and has been a great addition. Dr. Natalie loves working with children from as little as a year old to their teens - it brings her such joy to work with kids and teach them the importance of oral hygiene.
Dr. Natalie also enjoys working with patients who have a fear of going to the dentist so she can restore their faith and trust in dentists and dental offices. Dr. Natalie strives to build trust in her patients so they can get the dental treatment they want and need. Dr. Natalie is very patient and caring when it comes to her patients.
When Dr. Natalie isn't working she enjoys watching Harry Potter, reading the latest book from a book club, and spending quality time with her friends and family. She also loves taking yoga classes to stay healthy and fit.

I have been a client for years and the Evergreen Hills Dental (EHD) never fails to disappoint me. I am always amazed by their level of commitment to customer services. The EHD staffs - receptionists, dental assistants, and the doctors - are always very polite, apologetic (situations out of their control), and welcoming. The Dentists are meticulous in their work details and completeness. I always feel very satisfy after each service appointment. I truly love this love and highly recommend it.

I switched to Evergreen Hills Dental from a dentist I really loved because it is so much closer to me. I have tried 2 other dental practices in the area that I didn't really like before my visit and was willing to move on if I didn't like it here. The first visit had a long wait but my experience with the dentist and hygienist was so good that I decided to schedule another appointment (they were very friendly and really made sure nothing was missed in my cleaning and exam so my teeth felt great after). Without any comments from me about the wait, the front desk apologized for it and let me know it was very abnormal and shouldn't happen again. Several appointments later, it hasn't. I am starting orthodontic care here and bring my toddlers here for cleaning as well. The staff is not only great with me, but also young kids. If you are looking for a great dental practice in the area, you have found it! I have been to several appointments during covid and feel they have excellent standards for preventing spread. In addition to general cleanliness inside their office, my personal observations show the staff to be very good about wearing their protective equipment and washing and sanitizing their hands between switching tasks.

I currently go to another dentist office. I didn't get any work done here but just came for a second opinion about getting a filling. It's a very nice, clean location. The staff from the front desk to the dentist was very kind and friendly. The information I got was helpful. Dr. Nguyen genuinely cared about my situation and took the time to explain everything to me and even referred me to another periodontics office for a consultation to help me further. It felt nice being there and I felt like I was being taken care of.

I always enjoy having my dental visit at Evergreen Hills Dental every few months. The staff are very friendly and professional. The whole process is neat and comfortable. Before and after the appointment, I always receive friendly reminders regarding my appointments. Highly recommended.

I brought my daughter to this dental office for the first time because there was no appointment slot for a while in her pediatric dental office. This site is very close to our home and the reviews are pretty good from online. The experience I had however was not so perfect. First I received a message asking me to fill in all the patient info, which was understandable, except they sent me online forms for my information, and not my daughter. I ended up having to do it during the visit. There were a lot of info to fill up. But that's fine, except there was also no place to sit because of covid-19. So I had to stand there doing all of these. But that's not too big deal. The problem is when my daughter was brought in less than 5 min, I was asked to step in since the dentist thought my daughter need filling for cavity. That was a shock to me since every checkout in the pediatric dental office her teeth was always perfect. So I asked them to show where the cavity was, and asked for a picture. The picture came and there was none. The dentist claimed there was stuff on her chewing teeth but that could be just debris from her breakfast. I was pretty upset on how the dentist could start to push for more treatment before there wasawas and this was my daughter's first visit. The dentist also suggested some gum prevention treatment. I refused it. This was very very different from my experience with the pediatric dental office. BTW, the cleaning the nurse did to my daughter was so quick and I was somewhat confused. It never was THAT fast compared to any past experience from my daughter (7 year old). I don't think I will visit this office again.

Pro Staff is nice My tooth were polished prior to cleaning. I never experience thst method. It was explained but not the usual procedure steps. This cleaning was also the fastest I've ever experienced. When I examined the bottom two front teeth I notice stains were still them. Prior services stains had to be manually scraped off by hand and not drill the entire procedure. Also; on previous experience I was informed the there may be cavity under fillings, yet I recall having the repairs completed during prior visits, yet was informed again. I like to visit different dentist to get second opinions.
