Dr. J. Scott Travelstead graduated in 1996, with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Following the summer of 1998, Dr.Travelstead moved to Corvallis and in May of 2000 he purchased Evergreen Dental. He enjoys providing quality conservative family dentistry in a comfortable and friendly environment. Dr. Travelstead has been a career-long member of the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He regularly donates his time to help with Medical Teams International, and other charitable organizations.
In addition, Dr. Travelstead has been a member of the Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors since 2012. For 19 years, he was involved with Linn Benton Community College dental assisting program as well as the advisory chair for dental assisting for the last 10 years.

I highly recommend. Dr. Scott T. Is kind, and thorough and very sensitive to costs and best practices. For non-insurers his rates are reasonable. Office staff are super.

I called and called but found this lil gem by a news release about a tree being a victim of fraud they treated me right. Out of pocket. On a fixed income they rock great staff and doctor

I was experiencing severe tooth pain and they were able to get me in right away. The staff treated me very kindly. Then I was referred to an endodontist nearby.

Dr. Travelstead is the gentlest dentist/doctor I have ever been to. He cares about his patients and his employees tremendously. His office is always spotless, his front of house staff attentive and knowledgable. His hygienists are thorough. Always an extra plus when they remember me from last time and care about how I am doing.

The most comfortable I've ever felt at the dentist. All of the staff is really kind and welcoming. The hygienists are really gentle and work with you to prevent discomfort during cleanings. Dr. Travelstead isn't judgemental and always is happy to answer questions. I highly recommend.

We drove over 3 hours to see the Dr. On a Dr recommendation. It was worth every minute. Great Dr, fantastic staff and SUPER clean office. This was by far the best dentist we have seen in YEARS! If you are local consider yourself lucky and don't hesitate, go see Dr Travelstead! He truly is the king of his craft and its no wonder other respected doctors recommend his office. Thx Doc for the personal service and going above and beyond for us!

Visiting Corvallis this summer from overseas, and Evergreen was able to squeeze me and my family into their schedule. We will be back next year when we visit Corvallis again. Staff was great, friendly and professional. They were able to obtain my xrays from my previous dentist out of State which saved time and money.

Tess, my dental hygienist, quickly set me at ease. It helped that there was a doe (deer) outside our window! Tess did a professional, efficient and painless teeth cleaning. It was a first class experience!

By far the best dentists office I had ever been to! I hadn't been to the dentist in far too many years due to a bit of anxiety and I hate feeling like I am being looked down on for not having great teeth. But, I had a filling fall out and was in immense pain all weekend long! I contact Dr Travelstead's office first thing Monday morning and they squeezed me in right away! Bethany at the front desk was welcoming a d so sweet! When I was taken back, I was very nervous and not sure what to expect but Nichole (I hope that was her name! ) Was so amazing and nice! I don't think she had any idea how nervous I was and she calmed my nerves so much! Dr. Travelstead came a d we discussed options for the tooth ache and had his team print up the cost for all options so I knew what I was getting into and could make a decision. I thought for sure I would have to wait and come back to get my tooth fixed but he did all right then and there so I could start healing up right away! I was numb when I left so I could tell them how grateful I was clearly so I hope they see this! I will gladly be back and recommend Dr. Travelstead and his team to everyone I know! You guys are so amazing and tested me with such caring and kindness when you didn't even know how scared I was! Thank you guys again! Especially to Nichole! You were amazing!
