I feel blessed and honored that our patients have chosen Evergreen Dental Center for their needs. I want our patients to have their best dental experience with us, and I do whatever it takes to achieve that goal. It means so much to me to know that what we do in our office makes a difference in the lives of so many people, whether were educating patients on home care, getting them out of pain, or creating for them a beautiful smile.
I began my formal education at Olivet College, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in 1995. Knowing from a young age that dentistry was my calling, I continued on to the University of Michigan for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery, in 2000
Continuing education is a vital aspect of providing the excellent quality of care my patients deserve. I attend courses and seminars every year on a variety of topics from general dentistry to advanced restorative procedures. Continuing education re-energizes my zeal for dentistry and keeps me current with the newest technological advancements. My professional affiliations include:
I grew up right here in Lansing, attending J.W. Sexton High School. I now live in Williamston with my wife, Sara and our three adorable children, Camden, Ella, and Amya. My biggest passion, outside of my family and dentistry, is golf. I played at both the high school and college levels, and can often be found on the green in my free time. I am also very passionate in rooting for University of Michigan althletics.
We are very happy to have Kayla as part of our hygiene team. She graduated from Lansing Community College and has been working with us for the past few years as an assistant and now full-time hygienist.
As a dental hygienist, I am here to help our patients whenever they have questions or concerns. I enjoy getting to know my patients and treat each one with sensitivity and kindness.We strive for excellence and our commitmentto maintaining those standards sets our office apart.I enjoy working with a great team of people who value dentistry.
I graduated from Ferris State University in 2005 and have been a team member since 2011. Ilive in DeWitt with my husband, Jon, and our two boys. We love to camp in the summer and travel whenever we can.
My goal is to have a satisfied, happy, healthy patient. I enjoy knowing that I am helping our patients maintain good oral health care and educating them on all of the ways to achieve a great smile. Our doctors are very caring and passionate. They do quality work for every patient and it makes me proud to come to work each day.
I love working in dentistry, especially with such an amazing team of people who inspire me to be at my personal best. I enjoy our patients; they brighten even the busiest of days and never fail to put a smile on my face. One of the reasons why our office is so exceptional is our doctors. They work hard and take excellent care of us, as well as their patients. I love their commitment to helping us be at our best as a team. It is so rewarding to work for good people! I am a member of the American Association of Dental Office Management, and enjoy networking with other great dental professionals.
My duties includehelping patients with financial decisions, billing insurance and collections. I enjoy building relationships with our patients and helping them achieve their perfect smile. I also enjoy working with a great teamwho are passionate about providing excellent care for our patients. In 2016, I became a member of the American Association of Dental Office Management.

Brittany is the best at her job! I have huge anxiety going to the Dentist but each time I go, it gets better! My teeth are normally so sore and sensitive after a cleaning but not this time! I'm so happy!

I started going here, in the 70's, when it was a converted residence run by Dr Wolford. Dr Cortis took the practice and built the new office. Dr Hartman soon joined. In all of these years, the level of service and commitment to know their patients is outstanding. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Within 3 months 1 of my 2 dental implants fell out and the other was extremely loose. Every time I told Dr. Cortez there was a problem, she demanded more money to fix it. She refuses to send any of my dental x-rays to my new dentist.

So far so good... Which is saying a whole lot with some of the stuff we've dealt with at other dental offices in the area. Just felt like we actually mattered to the staff and the doctor!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Very different experience than I've had with previous dentists. Not pushy. Only downside is it takes an extremely long time to get an appointment, even for emergency procedures.

We LOVE Evergreen and everyone that works there! My husband and I and our 5 kids have all gone there since they were toddlers and because they are so awesome, they actually get excited to go to the Dentist!! There is nothing I would change at all about how they operate and run this awesome practice!

I would give Evergreen Dental 10 if possible. The office is squeaky clean. The entire staff is professional, kind and helpful with all dental needs. Dr. Hartman has always been able to provide all things necessary for my multiple dental issues. Very professional as well as being a great guy. Absolutely every staff member gets an excellent rating, including the front office which is usually the first contact the patient has. They are kind, accommodating, and make every effort, as well as the rest of the staff, to make sure each appointment is handled smoothly and professionally. Strict adherence to Covid protocol is visible throughout the entire office.
