Following graduation, Dr. J was a Commissioned dental officer in the US Air Force. In the 3 1/2 years he was stationed at Hill Air Force Base in Layton, Utah, he received extensive training in all phases of dentistry.
He was offered a position in Washington, DC at the Pentagon following his work commitment in Utah. After declining that opportunity, he purchased the practice from Dr. Richard Gust in 1999 in Laconia, NH and has practiced in Lakes Region ever since.
He has always had the endless support from his loving wife, whom he met in high school. He is also the very proud father of two young sons, soon to be college students. His passion for golf, fishing, and skiing keep him active outside the dental office with his family.
Among his other accomplishments, Dr. Johnson is an active member of the Lakes Region Dental Study Club, Lakes Region Dental Society, American Dental Society, and is currently serving as a trustee on the NH Dental Society.

I arrived 10 mins late and the receptionist was very rude. She falsely accused me of cancelling appointment 10 mins prior in the past which is wrong.

Went for a routine cleaning. The hygienist was thorough but gentle and Dr. Johnson was awesome as always! It seems they regularly update methods and equipment, which I like.

I like going to Dr Johnson. When ever I have had any issues he has been able to get me right in. I like when he is working on my teeth that he explains to me ahead of time what is going to happen and then as he is doing the process he still will remind me what he is doing. Dr Johnson has a very calm personality which is a nice feeling.
