Ever since she can remember, Dr. Ramsay has really enjoyed helping others, and that interest inevitably led to her realizing that dentistry was her true calling. Today, she makes every effort to serve patients with plenty of courtesy, attentive care, and genuine compassion. Whether youre struggling with serious dental pain or simply interested in achieving a beautiful smile in a stress-free environment, shes ready to lend a helping hand.
Dr. Ramsay completed her pre-doctoral education at Portland State University, earning her Bachelor of Science with honors. She earned her degree in General Dentistry at the Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry. Today, she regularly continues her education on the latest skills, procedures, and equipment in oral healthcare. She also has a wide range of experience in several dental specialties, including pediatric dentistry, surgical treatments, cosmetic dentistry, and root canal therapy. She is one of the few dentists in Oregon who has been trained in gum recession by Dr. Chao, who is the inventor of the Pinhole Surgical Technique.
Dr. Ramsay is also a part of the Medical Teams International Dental Van, which provides mobile care for low-income patients in need including serving the Yamhill community. She also offers a scholarship to a graduating high school senior every year. This is a long-standing tradition at Evans Street Dental that has been going strong since 1981.
When she isnt busy caring for patients, Dr. Ramsay spends lots of free time exploring all that the beautiful Willamette Valley has to offer, including the nearby mountains and ocean. She also always enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Gum disease is primarily caused by bacteria-filled plaque and tartar that has been allowed to build up on the teeth below the gum line. Scaling is a special type of cleaning that enables us to remove these harmful substances and stop the progression of the infection. Then, root planing involves us gently reshaping and smoothing out the tooth roots. Why do this? This creates fewer places for plaque and tartar to accumulate in the future, lowering the risk of reinfection, plus it stimulates the healing process.

I had an abscessed dead tooth that needed extraction. Evans Street Dental was able to see me within an hour of my request for an emergency appointment. I received excellent professional care delivered with a very thoughtful and pleasant bedside manner. It was as enjoyable an experience as a tooth extraction can possibly be :D

Awesome Dental office! really friendly and accommodating staff. Clean and warm waiting room. Easily my favorite dental office I have been too. The most thoughtful and direct services I have had from a dentist. I will definitely stay with Dr. Ramsay as long as she is open for business. Without a doubt I recommend them to everyone who asks.

Going to a new dentist from one state to another is always anxiety-inducing, at least for me. We are new to McMinnville and had no idea where to start; thankfully Dr. Ramsay had an ad in our parish bulletin. Her front office was so friendly on the phone and answered all my questions; she called my insurance to make sure I was covered then called me back. My appt. with Dr. Ramsay went beautifully and her dental hygienist was great and fun to talk to. Both she and Dr. Ramsay took the time to answer all my questions and did not suggest extra options that would cost more, even when I asked for them. I am thrilled to have found this practice. Her staff is always helpful and friendly and will call you if there's a cancellation so you can get in sooner. Highly recommend!

Over and over Natalya Ramsey DDS and her staff make my smile beautiful and most of all healthy. I appreciate her expertise, talents, communication, concerns for finances, and most of all commitment to long term healthy teeth. Hands down by far BEST dentist I've ever ever had.
