Eva Mejia, DDS, has been providing quality dental care since June 2006. Dr. Mejia loves working with people and she understands how 'busy lives need a little TLC'. She and her husband, Cesar, have enjoyed their relocation to Alamosa since June 2009 and now consider the San Luis Valley their home. 'We both have a heart for small towns and love the friendliness of the people in the San Luis Valley'. Dr. Eva will do all she can to help you feel comfortable during your visit. She will listen to and understand what your goals are and help you achieve them. Her passion for dentistry and desire to help people is expressed daily through her work.

Janet is our friendly office manager can answer your insurance questions and will help you maximize your insurance benefits to meet your dental needs. Native of the San Luis Valley, Janet grew up in Sanford and moved to Alamosa after high school. She received a certificate in accounting from TSJC. Janet has 18 years of dental assisting experience and has been our office manager since 2010. Her favorite part of dentistry is meeting and helping people everyday! Janet enjoys spending quality time with her husband Tony, kids Roman and Mia, son-in-law Derek and her Yorkie Khloe.
Brandi was born and raised in Sanford, graduated from Utah College of Dental Hygiene and moved back to the area in June 2009, with husband Tyson. While in college, Brandi met an 'amazing hygienist' during her freshman year and was inspired to follow in those footsteps. She 'enjoys meeting new people and helping them maintain healthy teeth.' Outside of work, Brandi spends most of her time with her four children: Emeri, Brayton, Lydia and Gavin! Brandi enjoys every moment spent with family from bedtime stories to many traveling adventures!
Alesha was born and raised in Franklin, Idaho. After graduating from the Utah College of Dental Hygiene in 2009 she moved to Alamosa. For as long as she can remember she has loved going to the dentist. Once in college she decided that dental hygiene was her passion. She loves everything about her career and enjoys helping others succeed in their oral health. She married a valley boy in 2010 and they have 5 children. Besides chasing her kids around, she enjoys camping, boating with her family, being in the mountains, traveling, helping on the family farm and yard work.
Aubrey grew up in the Salt Lake Valley. She recently moved to the San Luis Valley after graduating hygiene school. Aubrey is accompanied by her husband, Justin and their two sons, Justin and Beckham. Aubrey attended hygiene school at Utah Valley University where she received a Bachelors Degree. She has always had a passion for health care and was inspired to go into hygiene by other successful hygienists in her family. She enjoys educating our patients about the importance of their oral health. She also enjoys reading, decorating, crafting, and spending time with friends and family.
Ashya was raised here in Alamosa and graduated from AHS. After high school she moved to Pagosa Springs where she lived for three years but happened to find her way back home! Ashya started working with Dr. Mejia in 2011. She regards education as a high standard and shortly after working in the field of dentistry she received her dental assisting degree from Stradford Career Institute. Ashya enjoys every part of being a dental assistant! Her favorite part is getting to know new people and being able to help them. Ashya also enjoys camping, hunting and just being outdoors with her husband Jose and her two beautiful daughters Tanaya and Taliya.

We are from out of state and needed a tooth pulled asap. They were able to see us same-day l called and all went smooth. Staff is professional yet friendly. Highly recommend them.

The experience for myself and children were positive. Jasmine, Adrianna and Dr Parker were amazing. They know how to take care of their patients. This is why we go to Dr.Mejia.

Dr. Mejia delivers honest and companionate care. When I explained that I had sensitivity on one of my teeth she took my concerns seriously and listened intently. She was not dismissive or rushed like other dentists I have had experience with. She found the problem and fixed a filling from another dentist that was too high and after that I felt much better. Will definitely go here again and I recommend you do too.

Dr. Mejia is amazing. I've been going to an older dentist for awhile and his equipment seems a little archaic compared to Dr. Mejia's office. So quick and efficient and never any pain. She and her staff are so friendly and professional. I actually don't mind going to the dentist for the first time ever.

Dr. Mejia and her fine professional staff provide superior dental care in a friendly atmosphere. They promote effective preventative hygiene but perform appropriate dental treatments when inevitable ailments occur, as painlessly as possible.

I have moved so many times and had several dentists. I was living with tooth pain for 8 years. Dr. Mejia finally figured out that I had a cracked tooth. Her and her staff did such a great job fixing the mistakes of past dentists. She is the best dentist I have ever had. I was so relieved to finally have a good dentist until they no longer take in-network insurance. I now have to find another dentist. It is such a bummer especially since I have a cracked tooth that I need replaced. She also did an amazing job with my 2 year old daughter's first time at the dentist. They did a really cute polaroid, prize basket and gift card for not having cavities.

From my first phone called to make an appointment to the moment I walked out the door after my appointment, Dr. Mejia and her staff were attentive, personable and caring, efficient, and highly professional. The office is well organized and very clean. One of the best dental experiences I've ever had. Thank you, Mejia Dental! See you in six months

From walking in the door to walking out, everyone is friendly, personable and there for your needs. Always asking about you and your family. Checking on your comfort level during any procedure and willing to help in any way. This is the first dentist I've enjoyed going to! They are the best with kids!! Patient, friendly, and educational too! They all talk to her like a patient and made our 3 year old's experience something she talks about and looks forward to going back to see "her friends" as she expresses.

Everyone was so nice. From the front desk staff, to the assistant and dentist. I had an infected fractured tooth. They got me in immediately. I showed up before they opened 6:45am, I couldnt sleep because the pain was so bad. I found them already open. I was able to get my tooth extracted right away. I was given other options and there was no rush in my decision. I'll be back for routine and other work! 10/10. Thank you guys so much!

Not to brag, but I have the best dentist. I've been to like 7 dentist in my 18 years of existence and I only liked one and I was 4. As time went on all my dentist sucked and they would mess my teeth up. I had a cavity once and when I went to my other "dentist" clinic, they "fixed" it and then went home and couldn't bite down with out extreme pain for weeks. Mejia Dentist has been the best experience for dental work by far, nice doctors, they do their job correctly and are very descriptive with what you shall do to keep teeth clean and they keep me updated with appointments. I had my wisdom teeth removed and that was excellent procedure and they feel so fantastic compare to how others described theirs. If I ever left the valley, I would definitely drive 6 hours just for them to work on my teeth.

We have had nothing but great visits at Meija Dental! The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. Everyone goes the extra mile to help each other out and that says a lot about what a great team Dr. Meija has working for her. I highly recommended this dental office to anyone young or old!

I chipped my veneers and I was so bummed about it, i wasn't even sure if my dentist even works on veeners so I called the office and let them know. They saw me right away and started the process. I have 4 new veneers now and I love them! They look so beautiful and they look so real! I love them even more then my old ones! Thank you Eva and staff for taking care of me and making my smile beautiful! I am soooooo happy!! Thank you!!

The staff is friendly, however not very knowledgeable in regards to billing or processing customer requests. I have requested my record several times over the last 6 months and I still do not have my records. I was told my insurance would cover an x-ray and a month later I received a bill for the full amount. I attempted to pay online, because the statement clearly lists a website to pay online. When I go to the website that is on the statement I receive an error that says the dental office has opted out of online payments. The statement should probably be updated to reflect accurate information. It's too bad the office staff has such poor customer service skills, because the other members of the staff are quite pleasant.
