Healthy Smiles Family Dentistry LLC is a LaGrange based family dentist practice that treats patients of all ages. We are committed to delivering the highest quality dental care and do so using advanced dental equipment. As a native Georgian and life-long Lagrange resident, Dr. Harry graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from Lagrange College. She attended the Medical College of Georgia, and earned her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry Degree in 1987. Dr. Harry holds dental licenses in Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. She chose to return home to Lagrange to establish her dental practice where she could care for her hometown community. She is married to Lagrange native, attorney Jim Harry, and they are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters.
Healthy Smiles Family Dentistry prioritizes preventive care and educating patients about their oral health and how it impacts their well being. The practice emphasis is to provide optimal dental care to children and adults. Dr. Harry provides restorative and cosmetic dentistry, implant restoration, and oral surgery with state of the art technology in a warm, friendly environment.
Continuing education is important to Dr. Harry. She has been awarded the prestigious Masters Award from the Academy of General Dentistry; honoring her commitment to providing quality dental care through continuing education. Dr. Harry and her staff attend dental courses annually; led by specialists in the field of dentistry. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Harry and her dedicated staff volunteer at health fairs and outreach programs to help promote dental health throughout their community.
The team at Healthy Smiles Family Dentistry LLC believe in the importance of preventative care. We focus on keeping patients in good oral health so that they can live a full, healthy, and enjoyable life that is free from oral pain. This starts by educating our patients on what they can do to stay healthy at home. In our family dentist office we recommend that patients eat a healthy diet that consists of green leafy vegetables, lean protein, nuts, dairy products, and crunchy fruits and veggies. Eating these foods along with drinking water can help to keep teeth healthy and make them stronger. By simultaneously reducing sugar intake, patients can also reduce their risk of cavities.
It is also important to brush and floss throughout the day. Instead of waiting for bedtime to brush teeth, carry a small toothbrush and use it after meals and snacks. This makes it possible to remove sugar and bacteria from the teeth and gums before it has the opportunity to turn into acid that can attack the teeth. This preventative step can greatly reduce a persons' risk of getting a cavity or gum disease. After seeing another dentist in town that treated the wrong tooth , Dr Harry and her wonderful staff repaired the damage done and restored my confidence! She is so knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the treatment and options. The staff is friendly and professional and the office has such a happy atmosphere ! It is obvious that Dr Harry and her staff enjoy what they do and they go out f their way to make the patients feel comfortable. I will never go any where else for my dental care! She is simply the best !

After seeing another dentist in town that treated the wrong tooth , Dr Harry and her wonderful staff repaired the damage done and restored my confidence! Dr. Harry and her team are the most professional, responsive, caring and knowledgeable dentists/dental group that I've ever used. I've lived around the country for work and was hesitant about a dentist in a smaller town. Little did I know that she keeps up with all of the latest dental technology, and is astoundingly gifted and caring. She and her team go the extra mile not to cause any pain and provide amazing advice. I was finally moved to write this because she and her team provided excellent emergency information and care over the recent holiday weekend. Thank you so much!

I have always had a phobia of Dentist but My teeth had gotten in such bad shape that I was embarrassed to try to eat out or even go out due to me appearance. I was leaving my doctors office at the Medical Park at Lee,s Crossing When I noticed the sign on the door. Healthy Smiles family Dentistry. On an impulse I got the nerve up to step into the office . I was greeted by the friendly staff and made to feel right at home. I explained the problem , I had neglected the care of my teeth due to my phobia of dentist but had reached the point that I had to get something done,. I scheduled an appointment. I did not sleep the night before my appointment and did not know what to expect. I was nervous and emotionally distressed. I arrived and was greeted , I signed in and surprisingly was called back into the examination room right on schedule. I was made to feel at ease. My examine was performed and I had a discussion with the dentist about what to do and how to proceed. I felt comfortable at ease and felt that they really cared about helping me to restore my smile and to be able to eat solid food again. We scheduled another visit for work to be done. Again the night before I got little sleep but was not as nervous as the first visit. I arrived for my appointment and was taken back to the room where work was done and was explained everything that was going to happen. I was not looking forward to the needles to deaden my mouth but I only felt a small pinch and my procedure was without pain and I was treated like I was a real person. I have returned several times for procedures and must say I now have no fear and look forward to my visits as they make me feel appreciated. The staff is friendly and helpful and made my bad situation of my neglected dental situation into a feeling of gratification due to the painless procedures that I have experienced. I will soon be able to smile and eat real food thanks to the excellent treatment and care that I received at the hands of the skilled Dentist and Staff . I would highly recommend anyone with dental issues to stop by and discuss their problem and schedule an appointment. It will be the best step you can make if you have any dental issues. (The Hygienist are also wonderful and pleasant.) Tim Mallory
