Dr. Furgason was born and raised in Oregon. He attended Oregon State University, Brigham Young University and The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry from which he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1997.
After graduation from dental school, Dr. Furgason and his family moved to Eugene where he has practiced dentistry ever since. In May 2003, Dr. Furgason relocated his practice to a new facility on Coburg road.
Dr. Furgason has continued his dental education with emphasis on cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry. In addition, he has served in numerous local and state dental leadership positions including president of the Lane County Dental Society and Delegate of the Oregon Dental Association House of Delegates Annual meeting.
Dr. Furgason finds his greatest joy is in serving his patients. He listens to their needs and expectations, and through artistic skill and an expert eye for detail turns that into healthy, beautiful life-changing smiles. Its no wonder his practice is filled with a variety of young and senior patients as well. His calming demeanor and humor bring a sense of security and assurance to every patient.
Dr. Furgason and his wife Amy, are the proud parents of three sons and enjoy spending time together as a family. Some of their favorite activities include water sports, camping, traveling and scuba diving.
Dr. Fife is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry with honors in Pediatrics and Prosthodontics. He and his family are happy to be back in Eugene where Jason is an Alumnus of the University of Oregon and a former Quarterback for the Ducks!
Meet Shelbee! She is our scheduling coordinator and brings a warm caring attitude to our front office. She has been working in the dental field for 4 years now, and started here as a sterilization technician. Shelbee enjoys all aspects of the dental field, but has found her passion at the front office because she gets to be the first person to greet patients and welcome them in. In her free time, Shelbee loves spending time with her boyfriend, family and her cat, Sterling (who is much more like a child than a cat.) Shelbee enjoys activities such as spending time outdoors, golfing and doing crafts!
Jennifer is our office manager and you will see her welcoming smile when you visit our office. She has over 25 years of clinical and administrative experience in dentistry. She is kind and compassionate. Getting to know patients and helping them has always been Jennifers favorite part of her job. Jennifer has two adult sons, Tyler and Jake. Along with keeping up with their sons, Jennifer and her husband love to travel and be active in the outdoors.
Lacey is the newest member of our team. She comes to us with over 15 years of dental experience, four of those practicing in hygiene. Laceys patients appreciate her kindness and gentle manner as much as her horses do on her 7 acre farm. Hygiene runs in Laceys blood. Her mom is also a dental hygienist. We love Lacey
Stacie has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 30 years and has worked with Dr. Furgason for 21 years. She has always enjoyed getting to know her patients and their families. Establishing good relationships with them is also very important to Stacie and she feels very fortunate to be working at such a great practice. Stacie is a fourth-generation Oregonian and really loves the outdoors. Along with her husband and four children, they enjoy camping, fishing, hiking and of course Oregon Duck Sports!
We were thrilled to have Delaney join our team full time in 2021. She has been practicing dental hygiene for over 6 years. Her kind and gentle personality puts patients at ease. Delaney is dedicated to working with her patients to improve their oral health using the most current prevention based strategies. In her free time, Delaney enjoys gardening, hiking and camping with her husband and loves spending her extra time with her friends and family.
Talia has been chair-side assisting Dr. Furgason for over 20 years! She is a graduate of the LCC Dental Assistant program. Talias unique approach to assisting brings comfort and ease to all of our patients and Furgason Fife Dentistry is very fortunate to have Talia as our Dental Assisting Supervisor. She enjoys the relationships she has made with our patients and always looks forward to making new ones. Talias gentle personality and kind spirit keep us all thankful for her dedication to the practice. She loves spending her extra time with her husband and two sons A.J. and Caleb.
Roschelle has been an amazing asset to our office, and has been a dental assistant for over six years now. She is dedicated to perfecting all aspects of her job, and is equally passionate about making sure our patients feel welcome and comfortable. Talking with, and helping patients is what Roschelle enjoys most about being a dental assistant. Roschelles upbeat and friendly personality bring an added measure of fun to the office. In the summer she runs our office garden, and in her time away from work she loves music, being outdoors and visiting new and interesting restaurants around Eugene. She grew up in Oregon near the Thurston area.
Julie brings over 4 years of dental assisting experience to our team. As a local Lane Community College graduate, she not only prides herself on exceptional care, she also believes that building relationships with her patients and coworkers is key to what sets her apart from others. Julies outgoing and When Julie is not in the office she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two German Shepherds. Julie has a lovely backyard garden and always finds time to do a little traveling.
Jessi Jo is our teams newest dental professional, joining us from her small town hometown: Mohawk, Oregon. She is not only our sterilization technician, she is also learning chairside dental assisting along with laboratory work. Jessi is currently a 4.0 student at Lane Community College pursuing her associates in dental hygiene. When shes not studying, she enjoys exploring our beautiful state with her family and two pups!

Staff are always accommodating and take care of me to the fullest! I recommend them for any dental needs. I was married this year and my wife, her kids, and her mother changed dentists, and were completely satisfied and love it!!

I am greatly impressed with Dr. Jason Fife and the entire staff. I came to him with a failed root canal from a tooth that was cared for by a doctor in Portland... and ended up loosing the tooth. Dr Fife was recommended to me by one of his patients. Dr Fife did a beautiful & painless job giving me a new tooth implant. I am thrilled with the result. It's just perfect down to the smallest detail. I always feel like I am in good hands and that he is knowledgeable, skilled, professional, respectful and patient. I am grateful for his wonderful care and feel lucky that I discovered him when i did. The office is clean and peaceful and everyone is extra friendly and helpful .. ----- Below is my first review when I was a new patient: The staff are accommodating knowledgeable and efficient! Dr Fife did an amazing job on a difficult tooth extraction. He is an excellent dentist and comfortable to work with. My husband & I are new patients & feel very lucky to have found an excellent dental office.

I came in for a check up and cleaning. From the time you step through the door, you're made to feel comfortable. Stacey did a wonderful job, very friendly and professional throughout the appointment. Dr Fife is easy to talk to and informative. He gets you in and out in a timely manner without a lot of waiting.

Dr Fife did an amazing job! Called in got seen that day. Next day he had enough time for both surgical extractions!! One day later and I'm already feeling better!! Thanks again Dr Fife

This is just a personal experience but, everytime I leave, I always end up having lost blood. Everytime! That's my only complaint, be more gentle and not as aggressive.

I've been going to Dr. Furgason for years and can't imagine going anywhere else! They take incredible care of me and my whole family. Stacey does an amazing job with my teeth and both Dr. Furgason and Dr. Fife are incredibly knowledgeable and loyal and always make my experiences enjoyable. I love this place!

I relocated to the area in March. One of the most difficult challenges is finding new providers. I found the Furgason Fife Dentistry online and they are exactly what I had hoped for. The office is professional and inviting. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. My appointment was with Dr. Furgason and he exceeded my expectations. He was kind, gentle and discussed what needed to be addressed now and what could wait. I'm very happy I chose this office for my dental care.
