Really bad receptionist

Kind of a shame we have to give this rating, as we never even got to the oral surgeon. Their rude and unprofessional receptionist treated us so badly while simply trying to schedule an initial appointment/ consult, that we will NOT be going here. Short, terse, unprofessional receptionist (answering the phone) was rude to me, was yelling at others in the office while on the phone with me AND put me on hold without asking or telling me. I'm told the oral surgeons are professional and well-skilled... too bad their receptionist is running-off any new/potential patients. New patients beware!

I don't understand why a Dental Referral is needed if your private pay. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!

If you like being on hold for 5 to 15 minutes, than hung up on after the receptionist acknowledges that your still on phone, this place is for you. Professionalism at it's best. Thanks guys

The in office procedure makes up for the not so great phone service. From my initial call they did not make it very clear where the appointment was at and I had the wrong address. Later they kept forgetting to send in RX to the pharmacy for my post op after calling multiple times. Other from that the Dr was amazing and my wisdom teeth surgery was fast and easy with a good recovery.

I work as a dental hygienist so we send a great number of patients to the practice. They all come back with rave reviews. Now I can personally attest to the same. Every single person that helped me was top notch and the doctor did such an amazing job.

I had two abscessed teeth and was in agony. They took me with three hours notice, x-rayed and extracted the teeth and now, a week later, I am completely satisfied with their office, staff and the entire experience. I asked to be put out for the procedure, no problem. The few questions I had were answered quickly and throughly. The office was a model of efficient diversity. Hispanic, Caucasian and African American all worked together with equal competence and a pleasant professional attitude. This was in total contrast to another oral surgeon I had seen a few weeks earlier. His office was bigger, more staff and worse as far as everything else. My questions were described by one of the doctors as 'old school.' My money is not old school. I wouldn't let them floss my fish.

I called and was asked to hold for a moment. I was on hold for 15 minutes before being disconnected. I called back and tried to explain to a receptionist that I was on hold and was disconnected but she spoke over top of me and put me on hold again. I tried calling a third time and was able to get the receptionists attention and explained to her how long I've been waiting and keep getting disconnected and she said "oh, sorry... Hold please". She said it in a very snotty way and obviously didn't care and was annoyed that she had to listen to me. I ended up making an appointment elsewhere.

I had an AMAZING experience with the assistants and doctor in this office. I had gotten my wisom teeth extracted yesterday. I didn't have Dr. Damico I had Dr. Kosa and he was such a great doctor he was really patient with me. His assistants were a dream they were these three ladies (I unfortunately forget their names) they made me feel really comfortable while I was getting numb and throughout the whole procedure they talked me through it and kept supporting me when I was getting nervous. I've never been to this office before so it was nice to feel so welcomed and comfortable for my procedure. So thanks Dr. Kosa!! You & your assistants were amazing I would 10/10 recommend anyone to this office.

I called in trying to find out information on how to make an appointment and get evaluated. A woman Sue answered to phone, impatient, rude, whispering "oh my god" under her breathe as I spoke to her asking questions. She asked me who my dentist was and when I told her she said "oh they're not open today" and said to call back once I've spoken to my Dentist office then quickly said goodbye and hung up.

UNPROFESSIONAL...came in with THE BEST insurance and had already been given a quote for my husbands crown. We already knew our responsibility to pay for his crown and were prepared to do so AFTER it was performed. A lady from the front desk grabbed me from the back and asked to process payment immediately. This was very odd and she spoke in a quiet voice as she grabbed me and made me feel super uncomfortable. This IS NOT the way to do business! The service needs to be done first THEN payment at the end. We paid and then my husband was finally brought back..I do believe they profile people here, I'm not sure but this was really odd behaviour. My daughter is scheduled for 4 molars to be removed and I had a lady contact me from an office to pay the fees upfront??? I mean I am shocked at their operation of business!! Who does this? Maybe they get cheated from some people but if we are employed and come in with the best insurance plans there is no reason to feel threatened of not being paid...I would go elsewhere if you're reading this. They DO NOT make you feel taken care of...a total chaos in there too. There is not enough seating and they are EXTREMELY SLOW to get you to the back. Overall, a bad situation to just avoid entirely...
