Dr. Nicholas Maffeo is originally from Boston, Massachusetts, but grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada graduating from Ed W. Clark High School in 1990. He completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2003 with minors in Chemistry and Biology. Dr. Maffeo received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2007 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. He went on to complete his general practice residency at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida in 2008.
Dr. Maffeo practices exclusively at Las Vegas Dental Group and focuses on comprehensive and esthetic dentistry for all ages. He continues to take advanced training in various aspects of dentistry which includes: Cosmetic dentistry, Implant dentistry, complete dentition reconstruction, Endodontics, Periodontics, TMJ and occlusion.
Dr. Maffeo is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Nevada Dental Association and Southern Nevada Dental Association. Dr. Maffeo and his wife, Emily, have 2 boys and 2 girls that keep them very busy. In his spare time, Dr. Maffeo loves to golf when he can get away.

Dr. Mark Aranbasich was born and raised (grew up) in Las Vegas. He moved after graduation from Clark High to Salt Lake City, Utah to attend the University of Utah to ski and to complete his Bachelor of Science degree. He graduated Magna cum Laude.
Upon graduation, he made a home and started a dental practice in the Los Angeles area. After years of creating and maintaining a successful practice, he decided it was a good time to return to Las Vegas for a better quality of life.
Being a Las Vegas native originally, Im happy to be back with family and friends. Im looking forward to seeing old friends, making new acquaintances and providing the best dental treatment. I am very pleased to be joining Las Vegas Dental Group as a provider of quality dental care.
Dr. Minguey was born and raised in Superior, Wisconsin. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Superior and received his DDS degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Minguey is also a member of the Delta Sigma Delta national dental fraternity. After graduating from dental school he joined the United States Air Force and served a two year residency at Nellis Air Force Base. Upon completion of his military service he joined the Las Vegas Dental Group as an associate. He became a full partner two years later. Dr. Minguey is current member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association, and the Clark County Dental Society. For twelve consecutive years he has been named a Top Dentist by the Consumer Research Council of America.
Dr. Minguey has been married to Shannon Minguey for thirty-five years and they have two children and one grandchild. Their daughter, Michelle Kaifesh, is a graduate of the University of Nevada, lives in Carson City, Nevada and is currently employed as a deputy clerk for the Carson City Justice and District Courts. She is the proud mother of Dr. and Mrs. Mingueys granddaughter, Aubree Kaifesh. Their son, Mark Jr., performs both locally and throughout the country as a stand-up comedian.
Dr. Mingueys hobbies include scuba diving and other water sports, photography, trap shooting, traveling and, of course, being from Wisconsin is a rabid Green Bay Packers fan and shareholder, traveling at least once a season to visit family and take in a game. Of course Dr. and Mrs. Mingueys favorite pastime is spending as much time as possible with their granddaughter.
Danielle was born in Boston Massachusetts and was raised here in Las Vegas. She graduated from Clark High school and went on to gain a bachelors degree in science from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. After many courses in science and medicine she set her sights on oral healthcare. She moved back to her roots in Boston and gained acceptance to obtain a second bachelors of science in dental hygiene from Forsyth at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health sciences in Boston. She had the honor of studying with Ester M. Wilkens ( a periodontist, dental hygienist and published author who wrote the book on dental hygiene,) at Esters Forsyth clinic. Danielles love for educating patients on oral health care and research spans the patient as a whole with regards to diet, nutrition and overall healthy living. Outside of work, She loves spending time traveling and eating great food at the many fine restaurants in Las Vegas. Taking a seat in her chair will ensure a thorough experience and a few laughs along the way as she loves making people smile on the inside as well as on the outside.
Dental Hygienist Dean Jewell, RDH BA, is a native Las Vegan and U.S. Navy veteran. In addition to over 30 years of clinical experience, Dean was also an adjunct clinical instructor at CSN for 10 years. He is a recipient of the Phillip J. Youngblood Memorial Research Award and his ground-breaking work has been published in the peer-reviewed journal, Dental Hygiene.
He is committed to compassionate care for every patient. Dean, with his wife Cindy, also a dental hygienist, has one daughter. When not working, he volunteers for Child Haven. Dean enjoys golf, fishing, and cheering on the Nebraska Huskers, Chicago Cubs, and Green Bay Packers.
Michelle was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. After graduating high school, she went into the United States Army serving 5 1/2 years as a military police officer. After the military she came back to Vegas and worked in the hotels as a Sales Manager for meetings and conventions. In 2011 she reconnected with her now husband with whom she met in the Army. Together they moved to Colorado and then to South Carolina. After raising their two children she went back to school to fulfill her dream of being in the Healthcare field. She attended Midlands Technical College in South Carolina earning an Associates in Science and Associates in Dental Hygiene. She came back to Las Vegas in 2021 and will be making this her home once again. Michelle loves to educate her patients on the overall health relationship between the mouth and the entire body. She is passionate about making each patient feel comfortable by being empathetic about their needs. She hopes they learn something new after each visit. When Michelle isn't working, she enjoys spending time with family, mountain biking, running, hiking or playing with her 2 labradoodles Baxter and Gracie.
