I am blessed as a dentist to be able to contribute in some small way to the well-being of people. My goal is to provide patients with the highest standards of dental care and comfort. Our experienced staff make patients feel safe, cared for, and part of our practice family.
I grew up in Anacortes, Washington. In 1981, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Puget Sound. In 1985, I graduated with a DDS degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry.
I have been married to my wife, Julie, since 1984. Julie works for Medical Teams International, a humanitarian outreach organization. Her two passions are her family and her volunteer work in dog rescue. She has volunteered with Homeward Pet Adoption Center in Woodinville and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah.Julie and I have three children, Lindsay, Nicholas, and Maria and one grandson, James. Like all grandparents, our love for this little man knows no bounds. He is a joy in our life and a marvelous blessing to our entire family.Ive had a lifelong love of tennis and could be considered slightly addicted! I am a long-suffering Mariners fan and hope to watch them in the World Series at some point in my life! In our free time, Julie and I love spending quality time with family and friends. We attend Saint Teresa of Calcutta Catholic church in Woodinville.
It is very important to me to live out my personal values both in my work and in the way I spend my time outside of the office. Ive been involved with Medical Teams International since 1996. Medical Teams is an organization that provides medical and dental services to communities suffering from disaster, conflict, and poverty. Medical Teams has facilitated my dental missions to Central America. Ive also had an opportunity to volunteer locally on Medical Teams mobile dental van. The mobile dental van provides dentistry to low-income folks who dont have access to care.
Ive had the privilege of directing a summer program called Micah 6:8 Tennis and Social Justice Camp. It is one of my proudest accomplishments. I merged three of my passions: tennis, social justice, and working with young people. Some of the topics the kids learned about were the environment, food and hunger, homelessness, and living in simplicity. At our office we have also been able to mentor many young adults as they seek a career in dentistry.
The dental profession is a wonderful career because of the continuing education in a vast array of subjects. We are fortunate to have the University of Washington, a top ranked dental school, so nearby. I have enjoyed taking post-graduate coursework and Im grateful for access to such high-quality instruction.
In the last few years I have taken classes in diet and nutrition, dental erosion, sleep apnea and sleep medicine, implantology, CAD/CAM dentistry, medical emergencies in the dental office, periodontology, and conscious sedation.

The level of Quality and Care that each associate takes with your smile and health of your teeth is unparalleled. Dr. Boden (who is new to the practice) went the extra mile (No surprise from Kirkland Dental Partners) to make sure that my bite is comfortable and got my filling fine tuned for a really comfortable bite. From the Moment you walk in the door, you have absolutely stellar front desk staff, and your being taken care of by some of the best Hygienists in the field. I am more than satisfied with Kirkland Dental Partners, and I recommend them without reservation.

My husband and I have been with Dr Etheridge for over 10 years and have always had great experiences. His staff his very friendly and very helpful, they ALL work together wonderfully. Dr Etheridge is very professional and has a wonderful personality. He has a lot of experience and you can tell as a patient he really enjoys Dentistry. He always knows the new technologies that are available to Dentists. He explains what his procedures are to get a great outcome. I would definitely recommend making an appointment at Kirkland Dental Partners. Believe me you will love them.

I have been without dental care for the past 20 months due to a bad experience with my previous dentist's practice. I found Dr. Ethridge on the internet and decided to give his office a try. The down to earth professionalism, office environment, modern technology, thoroughness of procedures and friendliness of staff exceeded my expectations. These folks don't actually have the capacity to clean your teeth for 8 months at this point. They invite you to schedule an appointment for an exam, implying they have capacity to clean your teeth, then surprise, they can't and haven't had the staffing for 3 months. Other dentists don't seem interested in using another dentist's exam so they wasted my time and money. Communication coming from the dentist was completely at odds with what was communicated by the scheduler (ie way more time intensive and likely expensive).

As a patient of Dr. Etheredge for 25 years I can truly say they are the most amazing dental office one can chose. My parents had been patients long before I was born and I always loved going to visit my friends at the office as a child. Finding a good dental environment for kids is always tough and as someone who had an amazing childhood relationship with the dentist I can only say it was due to the amazing, caring team at Kirkland Dental Partners. Thank you to the entire staff for always making your office the most welcoming and comfortable experience possible! I couldn't recommend them enough if you are looking for an above and beyond dental office.
