Dr. Reem S. Shafi, CEO, Two Rivers Dental is the epitome of modern dentistry. She received her dental degree in 1998 and is a proud alumna of the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. After her graduation, she relocated to Chicago, IL and opened her first dental practice by 2004. During that year of running her own practice, Dr. Shafi realized she had much more potential and decided to open a second practice. Now, a decade later, Dr. Shafi owns several practices, all of which are located in and around the Chicago area. Her company now employs over 140 employees and 30 dentists.
During the course of her professional career, Dr. Shafi has won numerous awards including her induction into Temple University Fox School of business League for Entrepreneurial Women Hall of Fame for the year 2013.
Dr. Peterson specializes in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and treats a wide variety of patients of all ages. He has been placing dental implants since 1987, has extensive experience in implantology, and has successfully treated many dental implant patients throughout Chicagoland.
Dr. Peterson graduated with a degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Northwestern University Dental School. He furthered his training and education through a program focused in Anesthesiology, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Cook County Hospital College of Surgery.
Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. His hobbies include traveling, tennis, skiing and the outdoors. Dr. Peterson also practices law and teaches at a university.
Dr. Virji is originally from Toronto, Canada, where she found a passion for orthodontics since the age of 13. After receiving her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Dr. Virji went on to earn her DMD degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, IL in 2017. Dr. Virji then began practicing general dentistry for 1 year in Toronto before returning to Chicago and pursuing orthodontics at UIC Orthodontic Program. Dr. Virjis dedication for her profession led to her winning 3rd Place Nationwide for the 2021 Dr. William R. Proffit Resident Scholar Award while at UIC. While Dr. Virji practices orthodontics full time, she also works as part time faculty at the University of Illinois Chicago Orthodontic Department.
Dr. Virji is passionate about all areas of orthodontics, but shes especially interested in the advanced technologies that orthodontics is moving toward. Focusing on advanced technologies allows Dr. Virji to provide her patients with the best experience and results.

Came to see Dr. Bushra today and was greeted by a warm welcoming receptionist by the name of Perla, she was both kind & sweet. I got a teeth cleaning and check up from Dr. Bushra, I was very pleased with my experience cause of how quick and efficient she was. Dr.Bushra also suggested great products to me about my day to day teeth cleaning. She was assisted by two AMAZING Assistants who delivered exceptional dental service AROONA & RICKY. I'm super thankful to have found this dental service. Keep up the great work and amazing customer service!

Dr.Bushra was the best and only doc. that has actually took her time to get to the "ROOT" of the problem with an amazing assistant Aroona, Thank you guys. Front desk was also amazing and on point all with such great attitudes and understanding of my complicated schedule,Perla and Gali taggteamed the scheduling with the incredible understanding of the manager Sevina signing off to get things done right-away the right way.

My experience was great and very fast! I came in for a consultation and didn't know that I can get a filling the same day! Dr. Bushra and her assistant Uzair were skilled and efficient. The whole staff is friendly and funny! They'll make you feel very comfortable. Estrella Dental is a good place to come if you're trying to get good and professional treatment! Called to reschedule an appointment and was able to do that with no hassle. I really appreciated the receptionist Perla's help which made the process of rescheduling so much easier, she was very prompt and understanding. They told me if I wanted to get a $10 discount all I had to do was leave a review, I thought sure why not i can type something up. WRONG they lady at the front desk snatched my phone from my hands and wrote out an essay about how wonderful the experience was. This is very misleading to everyone reading the reviews on Google because it's all fake stuff they make up and if you take the time to read a few of them they all sound about the same. I'm glad more people are starting to share the fact the reviews are all fake

They are great in this office, very nice and understanding. I am very nervous when I go to the dentist but Dr. Bushra is absolutely great and her assistants Aruna, Ricardo and Yazmine are so sweet and funny. I am a patient of two years with a few visits, I had no complaints then. However, at my last visit i was VERY specific about getting a deep cleaning because i live 1 hour away. All he did was rinse and scrape off the surface of all my teeth. I have chipped teeth that i know he saw because he used a mirror, and he did NOT even address that at all. I have always required injections to get a deep cleaning. He did not do that. I had so many questions for him and all he did was half clean my teeth. DID NOT say a word about being done, when i opened my eyes he had darted out the room and that was it. You can still see so much buildup around all my teeth. I told the staff i had questions and they had me wait but i could not believe the lack of service and bed side manner this dentist showed. As i walked out the staff could tell i was upset and only then the dentist came out wanting to talk. I simply stated i wasn't interested. A one star is being Generous. I do not recommend this dentist AT ALL. The staff was very nice. But he is the face of the organization, and his service was extremely POOR.

I took my mom their as she had a really bad toothache. Dr Bushra treated her with kindness. She was so polite and gentle during the treatment. Her staff and management was really professional too. Definitely recommend this clinic if you're looking to get your treatment done!

Dr. V. eased my anxious 7 year olds nerves by having him stand up (rather than being in the chair crying, this making him feel less confined.) she showed and let him try the dental tools himself, while also answer his questions as to what each individual tool does, also while showing in action what they do, causing no pain but only tickles (he had a horrible traumatic experience in Chicago Apple care, to which he no longer trusts any medical treatment.) after 25 min of crying, even with the great staff, Dr. V, knows her stuff and I highly recommend her and the entire practice. Lastly, My shy son looked up at me and whispered, " momma, I only want her to be my dentist." I reiterated that to dr, V, and she just smiled and said of course I will be your dentist, to which he smiled and tears went away! I will be taking my 3 sons, myself and husband there as well for any dental work. The orthodontist seen once a month is also extremely knowledgeable and professional. My eldest needed braces and let's just say, I'm EXTREMELY happy I got a 2nd opinion from Estrella Dental, opposed to the first place in Chicago, to which they had my sons treatment plan COMPLETELY wrong! Estrella dental said he would wear the braces half the time as the other place, and not to mention, they said he needed (4h teeth extracted! Estrella dentals or thy, said braces for him would be from only 18-22 months and the only tooth to extracted was a baby tooth that didn't have any adult tooth under it! He will eventually need a tooth implant but never the less, get that 2nd opinion, it's worth it. I have meridian and waiting the extra few weeks makes all the difference. There's a reason they won best dental clinic for Elgin 2-3 times over the last few years, to which they proudly showcase their glass awards on their front desk!

Dr Mamsa is absolutely amazing and did a great job at making my mom feel at ease during her appointment that she was slightly nervous for. He went out of his way to straighten my mom's teeth during her deep cleaning at no cost. I would easily recommend Dr Mamsa to anyone!
