Originally from Nigeria where she achieved a Bachelor of Dental Sciences degree, Dr Nwando Udom attended the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD), graduating in 2007 with a DDS among the top quintile of her class. She then completed a one year General Dentistry Residency at Jersey City Medical Center, a level 2 trauma center in New Jersey where she was one of 4 general dentists partnered with OMFS (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) Residents to handle emergencies and trauma to head and neck patients ranging from accident victims, jaw and facial fractures and lacerations (pediatric and adult patients) and hospital inpatient care as well as dental patient care in the outpatient clinic.
Upon completion of the GPR program, despite high recommendations to become a hospital staff, Dr Udom decided to continue rendering dental care services to the less privileged and underserved of our community by immersing herself in a dental practice that rendered quality oral health care, treatment and guidance to all individuals since 2008.

Dr Udom delivered bad news to me while having a very long and drawn out laugh about it. She found it very funny that the oral surgeon screwed up my extraction. She then scared me (for no reason) that I'd never be able to get the pieces and roots left behind removed. And she said that she would help make a simple phone call to another office, but never did. She then castigated me afterwards, anytime I'd ask if she'd been able to make any point of contact. She was belligerent to me on the phone. And after ties were clearly cut on that phone call, she still didn't leave me alone, contacting me after I'd posted review of her to tell me off. Please read the other google reviews of her right here. She is called rude. She is called unprofessional. She is called culturally insensitive, and lacking gender awareness. If I were her, I would find these last words more concerning than mine.

Great newer dental office. Dr. Nwando is a kind dentist and excellent treating patients. She was very helpful giving me advice and treatment. Would recommend going here, much better than "chain" dental offices.
