The communication to the billing department is poor. I've yet to successfully reach billing and each time with a promise of a call back to never arrive. I would recommend elsewhere.

Seems like a scam. Go in for one thing, end up needing something completely unanticipated for exponentially more money. This after 3 prior visits! How can the need for a root canal not be diagnosed up front?

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and disrespect that we experienced. TERRIBLE customer service by the billing department. They surgically extracted my daughter's impacted wisdom tooth without receiving prior approval from insurance, and their neglect cost us over $900. When I contacted my insurance company, I found out that Essential Dental mailed our information to the wrong address and they used the wrong insurance code. Instead of the billing department doing their job and knowing what codes they should be using for their procedures, they asked me what code they should use, and asked me to work with the insurance. The billing department kept on sending bills to us, asking us to pay without actually looking into what was going on and owning up to their mistakes. The billing department tells you one thing one day, and another thing the next. The billing department has zero accountability and honesty. Extremely disappointing! The new team at Essential Dental is terrible. We requested to speak with the owner, and they said he never comes to this location. They never once apologized for their mistake and the inconvenience we experienced. The worst thing is the way that they spoke down to me and my family with a condescending attitude, and disrespected us when we have been loyal customers for over 20 years. This is not how any patient should be treated. We will not be returning to this office or recommending them to anyone.

This is the worst dental office ever. I have good insurance and all they care about is upselling. I needed a crown and wanted a teeth cleaning. The crown came in and didn't fit. Had to wait another couple weeks. Then for my teeth cleaning which is covered through insurance they refused to do unless I had some SRT Treatment done. They overcharged me and have $151 of my money. Wouldn't give me cash said they would send a check. The dentist actually refused me my teeth cleaning unless I had this $1400 procedure first. All they want is your money. They had me pay an extra $150 apiece for me and my child. You get a good feeling when you come in and they give you a welcome gift but believe me you will pay for this garbage. Has anyone ever been told you can't refuse a suggested treatment? This place is a Big scam. Don't go here

Everything about Essentials Dental was good to go. I was worried that I wouldn't get the type of dental treatment I wanted. To my surprise the experience was way better than I thought. Great staff.

I am overly pleased with Essential Dental. Gina is an absolutely amazing hygienist. She did such a thorough job and was so very kind. The office is immaculate. Mickey at the reception desk was so friendly. So nice to have the smaller office with the personal attention. I have found my new "dental home". And I am so grateful that Debbie sent me over to this office.

My son is 8 and has never had a good experience at the dentist...until now! I was incredibly impressed with the entire team at Essentials. From the receptionist to the hygienists and the doctor. Incredibly friendly, explained everything for us and most importantly, made my son comfortable and happy to go to the dentist! Thank you Essentials Dental!

Morning all - Had an appointment Wednesday and did not sleep at all Tuesday night. Walked into the office scared, nervous and anxious. Walked out relaxed and calm with no pain - I survived! Thanks to EVERYONE for their time and patience with me and explaining things as we went along. I received the best care yesterday and appreciate the team's ability to find the additional time to complete my procedure. I will be back in February!! If you need any dental work, this is the place and THESE are the people! Happy Holidays to all and stay safe!!

Dentist and practitioners here are super tolerant when asked a lot of questions. They don't ask you a bunch of stuff when you have things in your mouth, and they are attentive it any indication of pain. They thoroughly explain findings, show you the xrays and photos, talk about options, and are upfront about treatment costs and what is covered by insurance. They offer payment plans for anything not covered. Easily the best dentist I've ever been to.

They want to charge $50 because l can't make it to my appointment. Unbelievable! I have never heard that before. That's against the law. There's no such law that says you should charge your patients for not making it on time or not showing up to an appointment.

I had a dental emergency and they got me in that morning. I suspected I had an abscessed tooth but the hygienist found food particles were stuck between two teeth, got the debris out, took an x-ray, and the dentist confirmed it was a common problem. The dull pain was immediately alleviated. I was treated very well. Thank you.
