The root canal went fine. As the procedure ended, the dentist said you might feel some roughness around the tooth when the numbness ends. Well, that was an understatement. The tooth saws so sharp that it was cutting my tongue. I called to ask if there was anything they could do. They checked with Dr. Saunders, and he said they don't the equipment needed to smooth the old crown, which he drilled through. Basically, they threw their hands up at any relief. One of their SEVEN TENANTS says they use state of the art equipment...HA! Maybe they just need a good old fashioned file.

Quick, smooth and I even fell a sleep during the Root Canal. Val made sure I had a blanket and was comfy. Everyone was nice and welcoming. Hours later and I have minimal tenderness around the tooth and gum.

I have a huge fear of dentists. From lack of numbing and not hearing me as a patient. Dr. Shin heard me and walked me through every part of my root canal. I had absolutely no pain and therefor no fear. I felt so relaxed! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Shin and her assistant. Lena is the receptionist and she makes you feel very comfortable right from the start. THANK you for your help!!

My experience at the office was one of professionalism and kindness. They were informative, and on time. . From all the staff beginning with Lena at the front desk to Valerie as dental assistant and Dr Lauren Shin, who did a great job with my root canal procedure, I was impressed. I generally do not post anything, but this experience was exceptional.

Let me start by saying that I am so terrified of going to the dentist! I had to have a root canal, I called and they were able to see me that afternoon. The front office, Valerie was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable, she is very professional and made sure to answer all my questions. Dr. Saunders is the best! Not only is he an excellent doctor, he is also very caring of his patients and my root canal was painless. His assistant Jackie is very pleasant and took good care of me. Thank you Essential Endodontics!
