Christopher Escott, DMD, MS is a certified orthodontist serving our Central Florida community since 2014. Dr. Escott is an experienced orthodontic specialist with advanced training in esthetic orthodontic treatment, accelerated orthodontic treatment, and non-surgical orthodontic treatment options. Dr. Escott is a leading Invisalign provider in our community and has the experience needed to make Invisalign treatment possible for more patients than ever before. Furthermore, by using advanced treatment techniques, Dr. Escott can help many patients avoid tooth extractions and jaw surgery. In addition, Dr. Escott offers complementary check ups for our younger patients as a free service to help ensure that your childrens teeth, jaws and bite are developing properly. Above all, Dr. Escott promises to give his patients honest recommendations and incredible service.
Dr. Escott is an active member of the Schulman Study Group for Orthodontic Specialists. Membership to this exclusive group is by invitation only and limited to 125 practices in North America. In fact, many of the leading minds in orthodontics are members of the Schulman Study Group. Membership in this group is not only a tremendous privilege for Dr. Escott, but benefits our patients by giving Dr. Escott incredible resources to stay on the cutting edge of orthodontics. Additionally, Dr. Escott is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and American Dental Association (ADA).
Dr. Escott grew up in Yakima, a mountainous, high-desert area on the east side of Washington State. He was fortunate to know as a young man that he wanted to pursue healthcare, and found his passion in dentistry. He began his journey close to home, graduating from Central Washington University in 2007 with a Bachelors of Art Degree studying biology and chemistry.
Dr. Escott moved to Florida to begin dental school at Nova Southeastern University in the summer of 2007. While in dental school he narrowed his focus on orthodontics and committed himself to becoming a specialist. As a senior dental student, he was awarded membership to the exclusive Omicron Kappa Upsilon society, a distinction reserved for a small number of students in dentistry. Dr. Escott completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2011, graduating with honors and near the top of his class.
Dr. Escott then began his orthodontic residency, studying for three years at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Admission to this prestigious residency is an honor, as only four dentists per year are selected. This rigorous program trained Dr. Escott in both conventional and cutting-edge orthodontic treatment and appliances, allowing him to deliver orthodontic care at the highest level. Dr. Escott completed his residency in 2014, becoming a certified specialist in orthodontics and earning a Masters of Science degree in dentistry.
Dr. Escott began practicing in 2012, with his first position as a general dentist in San Antonio, Texas. There, he spent time working at CentroMed, a non-profit community health center helping the underserved population in the San Antonio area. This was a half-time position, which Dr. Escott held while attending residency. Dr. Escott spent two years practicing general dentistry on nights and weekends while completing his full-time orthodontic residency training.
In 2014, Dr. Escott moved to Central Florida to practice at Lake Dora Orthodontics. This practice was previously known as Principe Orthodontics after Dr. Gilbert A. Principe who operated the practice for more than 40 years. Dr. Escott assumed the lead in this practice as Dr. Principe retired. Lake Dora Orthodontics has since thrived under the leadership of Dr. Escott by providing exceptional treatment with personal and attentive care.
In 2016, Dr. Escott merged his team with College Park Orthodontics. Adding a second location allowed the doctor to reach more people in our Central Florida community and make it even more convenient for patients to find a time and location for their visits. College Park Orthodontics was established in 2008 by Dr. Noelle Williams. Dr. Escott took the lead in this practice in order to allow Dr. Williams to transition out to be available for her family commitments.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Escott LOVES getting to the beach and jumping in the ocean. He will take any excuse to SCUBA dive, free dive, go boating, and wake board. He also enjoys underwater photography. When you visit the office, be sure to take a look at Dr. Escotts original photography on display. I had an appt on 10/18 and the staff was absolutely amazing. It was my first time going through this process and it went very smoothly. I would recommend everyone that needs braces or any orthodontist work I would come here for it. They are GREAT

My wife and I had a great first experience with my son's first appointment the staff is amazingly friendly! Didn't kept us waiting at all even though they had a lot of patients being treated today,They made sure we understood every single step of the process my son would be going through, they were honest, heard and answered all of our questions and concerns, we felt so comfortable, the ambience and vibe of the place makes the whole going to the dentist pain not painful at all actually enjoyable. Ms.Alex was very sweet to us and took some nice pictures of my son's teeth and Dr. Christopher Escott was very nice and professional as well. Wish I remembered the names of the whole staff to give everybody a well deserved shout out. I CAN NOT put into words how happy I am with my entire experience at Escott orthodontist. I just had my braces taken off today and I truly can't stop smiling to show off my teeth. The staff here are truly amazing and kind. There has never been one moment where I was ever uncomfortable. Appointments are so easy to make as well. I love the in house payment option, with out that, I would have never been able to get my braces I've wanted for over 10 years now. Dr. Escott himself is very professional and super sweet. Thank you guys so so so much!!! I seriously could not be any more happier.

Dr. Escott and his entire team are amazing! This team makes sure every person that walks through their door has a one of a kind experience! From the welcome board for new patients to the congratulations group cheer once your braces are on or removed, shows they go above and beyond!! My daughter Morgan had braces put on today and she had a great experience. I have to give kudos to Tamara and Kathy! They are welcoming, friendly and make you feel like family! I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Escott and his team! As a young professional, the idea of traditional braces wasn't particularly appealing and I wasn't a candidate for Invisalign. After meeting with several orthodontists, I selected Dr. Escott and I am SO glad that I did. Not many orthodontists are willing to take on the challenge of lingual braces, but Dr. Escott embraced the opportunity and completely transformed my smile in an amazing way using cutting edge technology. Rather than installing the braces on the front of my teeth, the lingual braces were installed on the backs of my teeth so they weren't visible during the treatment. No one knew I had braces, and my treatment was complete a few months earlier than Dr. Escott's initial estimate! Dr. Escott is knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly kind to his patients and staff. I trusted Dr. Escott and Francisco completely, and I looked forward to seeing them at each of my appointments. I've already recommended them to several friends, family members, and co-workers. Going to Dr. Escott was the best decision I've made in a long time - I'm beyond grateful for my new smile :)

Nice offices with a friendly staff. Seemed like they had some pretty high tech imaging stuff compared to my normal dentist and it was far more comfortable of a process to get the xray's done than what I am used to. I went in to see if they could help with some asymmetry and jaw issues. I was somewhat worried they might try and sell me on something that wouldn't help, however Dr. Escott was very straight forward about what they could and could not help with which I truly appreciate. Very honest and knowledgeable practice would highly recommend giving them a shot based on my experience.

My son got his braces off today! This was the conclusion of a truly wonderful journey with Dr. Escott and his team! From the get-go, every single staff member has been kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Everything has been easy - from scheduling to changing appointments when necessary, to communication (They offer text messaging! Amazing for the way I operate!), to handling broken brackets (My son stress tested them in the beginning!), to visiting the office, to paperwork - truly, everything! We have visited both offices - that flexibility is great to have, too! - and I've been so impressed by the totality of the environments in both (Much of the super-cool artwork is actually underwater photography done by the doctor, himself!). My son's teeth look amazing, and I know the staff will continue to support him as needed post-braces. I am actually going to miss taking my son to his appointments there! I am so grateful for Dr. Escott's, and his team's, care and this experience.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Dr. Escott and his team are wonderful. They are kind, supportive, funny, and just all around pleasant to be around. I came into this office October of 2019 for a consultation & with the idea of wanting Invisalign. My main goal was to assure I could have my ideal smile by my wedding in December of 2020. Upon speaking with Dr. Escott, he provided great detail on Invisalign & normal braces, and ultimately assured me he could get me faster results with traditional braces. I came in November of 2019 and had those bad boys put on! LOL I am writing this NOT EVEN A YEAR LATER with NO MORE braces! He achieved the one thing I thought (and others thought) would be impossible in such short time. But Dr. Escott and his amazing team always gave me hope & were too confident to doubt. I am beyond pleased with how my teeth look and I am just in awe of how incredible the entire journey was. Thank you so much, Dr. Escott, for giving me the smile I have wanted since 5th grade! And to anyone in search of an office to achieve the perfect smile, go see Dr. Escott and his team! They have 2 offices and you won't regret it! :)

My review is about the care I received during my new patient appointment as I haven't been treated yet. If I could give this office 10/10 stars, I would. The entire office staff made me feel super welcome and everyone was extremely personable and helpful and friendly. I didn't feel that I was being pushed into anything and the doctor made me aware of possible risks to consider before I moved forward and even recommended I see some specialists for things he couldn't address before I committed to treatment. I have not had such a positive experience at a doctor's office in years, and you can tell that they value customer service and the treatment of their patients.
