Dr. Lin graduated from UCLA (Go Bruins!) and Loma Linda University Dental School. After working for 2 years as a general dentist, she decided to pursue her passion for pediatric dentistry and completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at Rady Childrens Hospital, San Diego. In 2008, Dr. Lin obtained her Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the medical staff at Rady Childrens Hospital.

Dr. Lin joined Peter Bonds practice, which is now Escondido Childrens Dental, in 2007.After moving to New York and Los Angeles, she and her husband and daughter finally returned to San Diego and the practice in 2013.She is excited to be back in San Diego and working with the community in Escondido.

Dr. Williams-Treesh ( Dr. Nikki to her patients) graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. She completed her pediatric dental residency at New York University College of Dentistry and realized her dream of providing gentle dental care for children. In 2011, Dr. Williams-Treesh obtained her Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She has also given professional pediatric dental lectures at multiple continuing education venues.

Dr. Williams-Treesh joined the United States Navy after the completion of her pediatric residency in 2010. She has had the privilege of caring for children of our Nations finest all over the world. The Navy paved the road for Dr. Williams-Treesh to California. It is here that she decided to make home and when she was honorably discharged, after completing 10 years of naval service, she and her family have planted roots in Escondido.

Dr. Nikki is a southern girl at heart, but the sunshine and beautiful beaches of California are hard to pass up. She and her husband have 3 wonderful children who keep them on their toes. Together they enjoy, family movie night, cooking, and of course the beach!

No. All pediatric dentists must be licensed to practice, but at this time only 1 in 3 pediatric dentists have continued on to become board-certified. The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) certification process signifies a unique achievementa significant step beyond the two to three years of advanced education required for a dentist to become a specialist in dentistry. The process requires the pediatric dentist to demonstrate actual accomplishments in patient care with detailed case reports on the treatment provided for a broad range of patient problems. Board certification is a voluntary achievement that all pediatric dentists do not choose to pursue. In order to become board certified by the ABPD, an individual pediatric dentist is thoroughly interviewed by a highly respected panel of examiners to demonstrate their dental knowledge, clinical skills, and judgment.

One. The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) is the only certifying board in the specialty that is recognized by the American Dental Association. The boards purpose is to elevate the quality of dental care for the public by promoting excellence through certification, education and professional collaboration.

Successful completion of the examination process demonstrates the pediatric dentists highest commitment to excellence in dentistry to both the dental profession and the general public. It represents a commitment by a licensed specialist that he/she has the necessary knowledge base and skills to treat patients to the highest of standards. It exemplifies a practitioners commitment to continue to keep abreast of the latest advances in patient care and to continue to deliver these latest advances to patients. Many pediatric dentists see it as a demonstration of their dedication to the specialty and the highest level of personal achievement.

Since the establishment of the ABPD, the certification process requirements have continued to adjust to the demands of the specialty. Today, the process involves a thorough Written Examination (240 questions) covering all areas of information that a pediatric dentist should be knowledgeable. Successful completion of this board exam allows the pediatric dentist to proceed to the Clinical Examination where they present detailed case reports from their practice/residency, demonstrating a history of excellence in patient care. These cases are evaluated by a panel of examiners and later discussed during an oral examination where the applicant is tested on a wide variety of academic and clinical topics. After successful completion of these examinations, the pediatric dentist has officially achieved Board Certification, for a time-limited period. The pediatric dentist must go through Certification Renewal every 10 years to maintain their certification status by demonstrating this continued level of patient care.

Such amazing compassion shown for my children!! I think that is the most important thing. They speak to my children with respect and appropriate language based in children's psychology. The work they do is precise and the parents are involved in every step of the treatment plan. We love Escondido Children's Dental!

Super friendly staff, clean office, and great movie selections. I have 3 children that they see at once but the staff and Dr are very efficient without feeling like we are being rushed, even with my very stubborn 2 year old. Glad we found a dentist that we are very comfortable with closer to home!

Dr. Lin and the staff at Escondido Children's Dental have been so great with our kids. My son was so scared to have a procedure done and Dr. Lin was so patient and kind to him, explaining every step in a way he could understand. We really appreciate her talents with teeth and kids sensitive hearts!

Escondido Children's Dental is absolutely the BEST out there. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and makes every appointment there a fun and easy experience for my son. We have been seeing Dr. Lin for a few years now and every time we leave ECD's office, I am so thankful for everyone there. My son had teeth extracted a few years back and Dr. Lin put my son, and myself, at ease. She called that evening to check in and made sure all of my questions were answered. They genuinely care about their patients and I tell all of my friends with kiddos to check them out.

Being new to the area and at the mercy of our insurance for a new dentist, I was so happy to find such a welcoming, kid friendly dentist. My boys are not at all fans of the dentist, BUT after their first trip to Dr. Lin's office they left happy and wondered when they'd come back. All the staff members are very easy to talk to from a parental stand point and have a great way of communicating to the kids. Sandy at the front desk is so great at explaining everything and stays on top of all paperwork and appointments. Stefanie is so sweet and accommodating. Dr. Nikki and Dr. Lim are both extremely competent and provide excellent care. I highly recommend the whole team to any family seeking a new dentist. We love them! Oh and the Hawaiian themed office is fun for kids and parents.

This dental office is amazing!! After taking my kids to a few other places, I was really looking for a practice that I felt I could trust with their care and wouldn't make me feel like they were trying to charge me for unnecessary things. Dr. Nikki made my kids feel so comfortable during their exams (they always dreaded going to the dentist) and I felt she was very honest with her recommendations for their treatment. This was exactly the type of care I had been searching for! Also, Sandy at their front desk was extremely knowledgeable and had such a happy, welcoming vibe about her. She throughly explained all the treatments which also put me at ease to know I wasn't being taken advantage of. I would highly recommend this practice to family and friends!

I was recommended Escondido Children's Dental, Dr. Lin, by a coworker after my daughter had an unpleasant experience at another provider when she was 2. We gave this provider a try at 3 years old and haven't looked back! She is now 7. It has been the best recommendation! I stress the importance of giving young children a positive experience when they first start seeing a dentist. This is the place!!! My kids enjoy coming to the dentist. Dr. Lin and Dr. Nikki are AMAZING!!! Super gentle and kind with the littles! The dental assistants and front office staff are all very friendly, professional, and accommodating. My family couldn't be happier.

Dr. Williams-Treesh was our special needs dentist before she left the Navy- she saw all 4 of my children who are affected by Autism and varying levels of ADHD. She was so incredibly patient with our children and we ended up following her when she got out of the Navy and happily found her at Escondido Children's Dental. Here's why we love her new facility: 1. They booked all 4 of our boys for a special 'family' appointment at close of business on a FRIDAY no less! 2. We were late because of one of the boys' appointments running late vs. meltdowns vs. traffic and they still saw us even though we were a little late- no questions asked. 3. They let our ABA therapists back with the boys- but with Dr. Williams-Treesh they honestly didn't even need them. She has such a sweet demeanor. She has a very quiet and calming presence and you can tell that she honestly loves what she does. 4. My oldest son has had to be sedated in the past- but the past 2 appointments with Dr. Williams-Treesh went so well and she was able to do a full cleaning and X-Rays without sedation. I cannot say enough about this place! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!

This was my first time at Escondido Children's Dental and I had a great experience. I'm new in the area and honestly I haven't had luck finding a good dental office for my 8yr old and 10yr old. So I googled Dental offices around the area and I liked Escondido Children's Dental reviews and I thought I would give it a try. I didn't know what to expect and really just went hopping it would be a good office. To my surprise I was very very happy how everyone in the office made me feel. Every one was really nice the receptionist was really friendly, the dental assistants where so nice to my kids they just made feel so welcome. Then I met Dr. Nikki and she was really nice she explained very politely and clear what my kids teeth need it. I truly recommend coming to Escondido Children's Dental and to Dr. Nikki, I was lucky to have found them. I will keep updating my visits because I really really like the experience I had. Thank you everyone in the office for a great job
