Dr. Ernst joined the practice in the fall of 2011. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Colby College in 2005, and spent the following year as a dental research assistant at the Forsyth Institute in Boston. He then earned his dental degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2010. Dr. Ernst completed a general practice residency at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston in 2011.

Dr. Ernst enjoys continuing education and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association, Greater Portland Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Ernst enjoys staying active and spends a lot of time exploring the Portland area with his wife and daughters during his spare time. He also plays hockey and enjoys golfing during the summer season.

Dr. Molander has been practicing general dentistry in the state of Maine for the past 37 years. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts and completed dental school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1972. After serving as a general dentist with the Air Force for two years, Dr. Molander settled in Portland to practice.

A well-respected member of the dental community, Dr. Molander serves on the committee of continuing education for the Maine Academy of General Dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association, Greater Portland Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Molander and his wife, Debby, live in Yarmouth, where they raised their two sons. He keeps fit by playing hockey twice a week. (Not a lot of checking, hes quick to point out!) Hes also a photographer whose travel photos brighten the walls of the office.

Sarah is one of our dental hygienists who lives in South Portland. She joined the practice in 1976 after she graduated with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. Shes an avid runner who also enjoys biking with her husband, gardening, and spending time with her family. Sarah is best described as a team player, empathetic and has a very silly sense of humor!

Claire is one of our dental hygienists who lives in Portland.She joined the practice in 1983 after she graduated from Bangor Community College with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to live music, trying new restaurants, and going for bike rides with her husband. Claire is best described as detail oriented, a wonderful cook and very caring!

Crystal is one of our dental hygienists as well as part-time assistants who lives in Auburn. She graduated from the University of Maine at Augusta with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. She loves spending time with her family, reading The Word, and hiking with her husband and very active golden retriever and german shepherd, Oscar and Kali! Crystal is best described as kindhearted, patient and very positive to be around!

Favorite Part About Working in the Dental Field: Being able to connect with patients, putting their needs first and helping them feel comfortable in the dental chair all while educating them the importance of oral health and disease prevention.

Brenda is one of our dental assistants who lives in Falmouth. She has over 30 years of dental assistant experience. She enjoys gardening, knitting and spending time at her daughters farm in Camden! Brenda is best described as friendly, personable and has a great sense of humor!

Bernadette is one of our office administrators who lives in Gray on the lake. She has over 27 years of practice administration. She is also an experienced dental assistant with 28 years as a dental assistant instructor. She is a graduate of Husson University with a dual degree in Business Administration and Accounting. She is an avid gardener and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Cathy has kept our office running smoothly for the past 19 years. Over that time, she has developed warm relationships with patients and their families. Although youd never guess from her petite stature, Cathy is a motorcycle enthusiast who loves taking to the open road with her husband.

Mary is one of our front office administrators who lives in New Gloucester. She has 49 years of dental assistant experience and transitioned into working at the front office.She enjoys going for walks, taking care of her beautiful tropical fish, and keeping her four cats happy! Mary is best described as someone who strives to be kinder than necessary!
