For over 35 years it has been our aim to provide patients with high-quality, comfortable treatment because that is what we would want and expect as patients. Dr. Erin Macko seamlessly took over where Dr. Judy McCann left off. Erin is a compassionate and caring woman who has the extensive training and experience it takes to provide comprehensive dentistry for patients of all ages. Our staff are the best around; friendly, understanding and here to make your dental experience one you want to go home and talk to your friends and family about.
Dr. Macko is a Newark local. She grew up in Pike Creek and graduated from Padua Academy in Wilmington. She earned a bachelors degree in Exercise Science from the University of Delaware and her dental degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.
After graduating from Ohio State, Dr. Macko went on to complete a general practice residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She worked in private practice in the Chicago area for 4 years before moving back home.
A member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Delaware State Dental Society, Dr. Macko frequents continuing education courses in all aspects of dentistry. She is also a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and has had great success using dental appliances to treat patients suffering from sleep apnea. Additional training with the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain has enabled her to help those suffering from certain types of head and neck pain.
Erin has a strong passion for community service locally as well as abroad. She is a volunteer with Special Olympics and has also made two trips to Central America. She is a community outreach volunteer and mentor with JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
Dr. Macko and her husband Greg are raising their children Lucy, 4, and Spencer, 1, in her old stomping grounds. They enjoy time with family at the beach and exploring White Clay Creek Park. Dont be surprised if you see them wearing Philadelphia fan gear or at a local park on the swing sets!
Debbie, our dental assistant, has been assisting for over 20 years. She specializes in setting patients at ease. Her genuine interest in people and their lives helps them to relax and enjoy the visit, and her expertise in assisting Dr. Macko helps eachtreatment proceed smoothly and quickly.
Kimberly Joined the team in March of 2018 as our Office Manager. She brings with her 25 years of clinical experience. It is her mission to ensure each and every patient receives superior care and support with all of their dental needs. Kimberly and her Husband Chad have a teenage Daughter Emily, an 8-year-old Son Cole, & 3 Pups. They enjoy spending all their free time at the Delaware Beaches with fun in the sand and sun.
Jaclyn has been a dental assistantsince 2014, she enjoys the daily challenges she encounters, her relationships with patients, ensuring everyone has a smile when they leave. Jaclyn grew up in Middletown, DE. She now lives in Newark, DE with her fiance Trevor and their twodogs Bell and Sage. In her free time, she enjoys boating, camping, and crafting.
Caroline is a graduate of Delaware Technical & Community college and has been practicing dental hygiene since 2012. She provides gentle cleanings and enjoys helping patients improve ease and effectiveness of their daily oral hygiene routines. The most rewarding part of her day is helping each patient feel confident about his/her smile! Caroline resides in North Wilmington with her husband Kevin and their daughter Sophia.

Perfect experience at Dr. Macko's office. Short wait, good cleaning from hygeinist, close attention from Dr. Macko afterwards with identification of a cavity. My husband and I like Dr. Macko much. She also gave us our COVID shots way back at the beginning when it was hard to find them.

Staff is so friendly and courteous. They do everything they can to make sure you are comfortable when having any procedure done. Office is very clean and sanitary. Wait time in the reception area is very short. I'm usually called back within 5 - 10 minutes. Dr Macko is very friendly and walks you through any procedure that needs to be done. She is also very thorough in her oral exams. I would highly recommend this dental practice.
