Dr. Ty Eriks always strives for excellence and brings this attitude to our practice of dentistry. In May 2011, Ty completed his dental education at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and graduated after four years of training under some of the brightest practitioners in the field. For his achievements in both academia and the dental clinic, Ty was honored with an American Dental Association Dental Student Scholarship and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental honor society.
Ty is a Pacific Northwest native and graduated with honors from Seattles ODea high school in 2001. He then received a B.S. with honors in Neurobiology from the University of Washington in 2006. He is also a former varsity student-athlete, playing football for both ODea High School and the University of Washington. Ty is excited to incorporate some of the skills learned on the football field into the dental practice, including extraordinary focus and a keen attention to detail.
He graduated with honors from the New York State University where he received a doctorate of dental surgery and then went on to The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he earned his certificate of endodontics.

Going to the office for me is like going to see family. I have been seeing Dr. Jeffrey Lissauer for over 16 years and every visit is a great experience. I started seeing Jeffrey in my early teens and since then I have lived all around the country. I try to make it in every time I am home in South Florida for a check up. Erica is always welcoming with warm smile and every technician I have seen is friendly, through, quick and pain free! Dr. Lissauer is an extremely talented dentist and he and his team has kept my pearly whites in excellent care. I am grateful for their honesty, aptitude and professionalism. For a person who has severe anxiety about going to the dentist this was an amazing experience. My dental hygentist Kim was so patient and understanding and made sure I was comfortable. Dr Eriks was fantastic. It was the best experience I have ever had at the dentist. I'm so glad I had gotten a referral to this dental office. Convenient location and good parking also

As a long time patient of Dr. Eriks, I am continually impressed with everything related to his dental practice. Dr. Eriks is without a doubt the most comprehensive and honest dentist I have ever gone to. Yesterday I had an appointment for a deep scaling. Dr. Eriks Kim, the dental hygienist, was the best ever. Her proficiency along with her compassion and total demeanor were incredible. I know that I will be going back to get the other side of my mouth done and I am not the least bit apprehensive. Thanks, Dr. Eriks, for maintaining such high standards and running such an amazing practice!

One usually does not say "I had a blast with the Team at Erik's" while I was getting a deep cleaning and a new partial for my cracked tooth! What an amazing experience from the front office and the dental team that made my afternoon! Thanks for the great service and the only problem I had was not being able to laugh while I had my mouth open! Can't recommend the practice highly enough!!!

Having had the same dentist in NY for over 20 years, transitioning to a dentist in Florida was very difficult. From the time I made the appointment with Erika I felt like the experience would go well. I was not disappointed. Maria spent so much time with me, taking ex rays, cleaning, and measuring for bone loss! It was as pleasant an experience as going to the dentist can be! Meeting Dr Eriks was another amazing experience. He totally understood my fears of switching to a new dentist because of my extensive dental work. He took a great deal of time with me, both explaining everything, and generally getting to know me. I feel confident I know have my Florida dentist!
