Dr. Erik Swanson gained his interest in dentistry from his stepfather Dr. Harold Coulston Jr. After graduating from Sonora High School in 1987, he attended Fresno State University and became a founding member of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Dental School in 1995, and moved back to the valley. In 1997 he joined the office of Heather Edwards, DDS., and Phillips Strauss, DDS., in Visalia.
Dr. Swanson purchased the office of Dr. Walt Weckwerth in 1998, where he has built his practice with an emphasis on restorative cosmetics, Invisalign, and implants. While he has been practicing for over 21 years. Dr. Swanson is committed to furthering his knowledge in the dental field utilizing state of the art technology to provide exceptional service.

Hands down the best place for dental work. Dr and his staff are awesome, they make sure you understand your treatment plan and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I'm lucky to have found them.

My usual fears of going to the dentist were quieted quickly. The office staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Swanson is a good listener, very through, gentle and kind. The procedure was comfortable, and staff very attentive. Excellent work. Great healthful tips.

My family and grand kids see Dr Swanson for dental procedures and yearly cleaning. Dr Swanson is one of the best ,honest and gentle doctors in town. His staff is very friendly and professional.

Great experience, super impressed by the numbing process I literally did not feel the needle. Which I know could be a phobia for many. Overall great experience , everyone was polite and had a positive attitude. Which I value a lot. Definitely will be coming back for anything I need done.

I was referred to Dr. Swanson by three of my good friends that I trust, which have been his patients for several years and had only great things to say about him and his staff. Dr. Swanson and his staff are very professional, kind, patient, and compassionate people. I was in need of a dental implant and had a unpleasant experience with my previous dentist. Dr. Swanson and his staff explained everything thoroughly and also explained my options and why one was better than the other, but ultimately gave me the choice to choose, also explained the cost. My dental implant looks amazing! It looks like the tooth that GOD gave me. The office setting is calming, clean and staff at the front desk are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Swanson has been our family dentist for 15 years. He and his team go above and beyond to provide excellent care in a comfortable environment. I never have to wait, his dental assistants are the best, and my kids have PERFECT teeth after getting their braces from Dr. Swanson. We highly recommend him!

I have him as personal dentist. Recently, he got one of my wisdom teeth removed. I'll need to talk to him about when my other three are coming out, and the likelihood that there will be a lack of space. And maybe a look at those x-rays, or maybe not.
