Dr. Jacob graduated from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 1998. Prior to studying at SUNY Stony Brook, he attended Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Jacob has been practicing for 20 years in his current locations in Roslyn Heights and Long Beach, NY. Dr. Jacob is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), New York Dental Association (NYDA), Nassau County Dental Society (NCDS), and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He is also an active member of the Glen Head Study Club.
Prior to entering into private practice, Dr. Jacob was involved in the Long Island Jewish General Practice Residency Program. In the summer of 1996, he volunteered his services to the recovery and identifaction efforts of the TWA Flight 800 disaster. During this time, he helped with victim identification. Dr. Jacob has received a number of awards and honors including: Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society member, American College of Prosthodontics Achievement in the Study of Prosthodontics Award, Nobel Biocare advanced achievement in implant proshtetics certificate. He continues to seek many opportunities in continuing education to advance his knowledge in the ever changing field of dentistry.
Dr. Jacob excels in reconstructive, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. He enjoys improving patients smiles and overall dental health by using a combination of treatment options including porcelain veneers, all porcelain crowns, and implant restorations.
Dr. Elyssa Bernstein graduated from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2004. Prior to studying at SUNY Stony Brook, she attended SUNY Albany. Dr. Bernstein has been practicing for over 10 years in our Long Beach office. Prior to that, she was an associate in a large group practice in Port Jefferson, NY. Practicing in this multi- specialty group gave her insight and experience from various specialists. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), New York Dental Association (NYDA), and the Nassau County Dental Society (NCDS). She stays up to date through continuing education courses. She enjoys taking several classes on implant restoration through which she is able to gain insight from other techniques and points of view.
Prior to entering into private practice, Dr. Bernstein was involved in Northport VAMC's general practice residency. At this facility she was able to gain experience with more difficult cases. She participated in dental exams providing dental clearance for soldier's prior to deployment. On a more personal level, Dr. Bernstein enjoys playing tennis and sewing. She is married with two children, a son and a daughter, whom with she spends as much time as she can.
