Dr. Eric Mohr has been my personal dentist for about 15 years and I am a very happy patient. He is extremely knowledgeable, keeps up with the latest in dental technology, and explains all procedures in understandable detail. The dental profession has seen major paradigm shifts in the last few years. The old drill and fill philosophy has been retired. When a cavity was detected, it was simply removed and replaced repeatedly until the tooth was lost. At one point the credo was even extension for prevention. The thinking was to drill more now to prevent drilling more later. Dentistry in past only treated the symptoms and ignored the cause. Fortunately, this archaic model has given way to a smarter medical approach. We now understand and treat the source of the disease, not just the symptoms. Removing bacteria and preventing the acid attack caused by bacterial interaction with refined sugars has become paramount.

Dr. Mohr is a native of South Florida and completed his undergraduate study at Providence College. He graduated in 2000 from the University of Florida with a degree in Dental Medicine and a fellowship in Pediatric Dentistry.
