A general practice residency was completed at Wadsworth VA Medical Center in West Los Angeles. Dr. Kardovich is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontics, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the California Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Harbor Dental Society. Locally, Dr. Kardovich is a member of the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce.
Each member of our Staff is thoroughly trained and experienced and personally committed to helping you. They are all experts in their fields. All of the staff lives in and is active in the local community.
Marina, one of our Chairside Assistants and Clinic Supervisor, was born and raised in San Pedro. Prior to joining our team, she worked in a few different areas of the dental field and became very attached to orthodontics. She is a graduate of City of Angels High School and a graduate of American Career College. She also attended Los Angeles Harbor College. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, swimming, and going to the river.
Elsa, our Financial Coordinator and longtime San Pedro resident, has worked in the healthcare industry for over 30 years and is an expert when it comes to insurance. When away from the office she enjoys spending time with her kids, grandkids and volunteering at her church.
Rabecca, one of our chairside assistants, was raised in San Pedro. She is a recent graduate from Southern California Regional Occupational Center where she earned her dental assisting diploma before becoming a Registered Dental Assistant. Before entering the dental field, Rabecca earned her bachelors degree in psychology and while in college, she also found that she loved working in cosmetics. Her passion for helping people combined with her love for cosmetics led her to the dental field where she enjoys helping patients achieve both a healthy and beautiful smile. In her free time, Rabecca enjoys beach days and spending time with her friends and family.
Kimberly, our Scheduling Coordinator, was born and raised in the city of Lawndale. She has worked in the dental field for over 10 years. In 2008 she received her diploma from Southern California Regional Occupation Center for Dental Assisting. Prior to working for Dr. Kardovich, Kimberly worked as a chairside assistant for 4 years in a General Dental Office before moving to the front office. Kimberly enjoys spending her free time with her family.
Lizbeth, one of our chairside assistants, graduated from Downey Adult School in 2015 with a certificate in Dental/Orthodontic Assisting and has been in the industry for 7 years. What she loves most about working in orthodontics is interacting with her patients and helping them achieve their dream smile. During her spare time she enjoys cooking, shopping, cleaning, and going on scenic hikes.

I had a bad experience with a previous orthodontist and was nervous about orthodontics in general. Dr K was so sweet, explanatory, encouraging, and positive. Absolutely great experience, couldn't ask for more!

Wow! I came to Dr. Kardovich with a "black triangle" between my two front teeth. Although he could not help my specific case with orthodontics he took 15 minutes to completely address all my questions and concerns. This guy is thorough and very interested in patient care. Highly recommended by me. Thanks Dr. K!

Dr. Kardovich is the BEST! I started with Dr. Goode (whom Dr. K took over for) many years ago for my initial set of braces. A few years ago I noticed my teeth had shifted since I last had braces so I called Dr. K and he put my smile back to where it had been! He is extremely friendly and very patient with people. He treats everyone like family. His staff is also great...always love seeing a friendly happy face when I go in. I highly recommend his office for your orthodontic needs.
