I usually don't write reviews, but I felt like absolutely had to for Dr.Knutson and staff. I have to say that Dr. Knutson is the BEST Dr. that I have I ever seen, he is so knowledgeable, kind, considerate, compassionate, gentle and all around great person. He always takes his time with you and you never feel rushed, always explains everything he is going to do, throughout the appointment always asking " if your ok, any pain?" I am 58 I decided to get braces as my teeth were shifting dramatically, well that meant I had to have 4 teeth pulled to make room, I thought about it and wasn't sure if I should or could do it at my age, but I thought" I have the BEST dentist possible "and no doubt he would take great care of me:) and . so I did it!!! I have to say it was pretty much painless and I had a amazing recovery!!!! I would have never gotten braces if it wasn't for Dr. Knutson. He truly is AMAZING!!!!! The staff is NICEStT group of women always courteous and helpful with any situation you might have. If you want the BEST dentist Dr Knutson is the one for you hands down!!!!

I have really severe anxiety when it comes to dentists because of some bad experiences in the past. My mom recommended Dr. Knutson to me and swore he was different. I was, as usual, sure that he wouldn't be any different than the past dentists I'd had. My prior dental experiences have me so traumatized that I cry as soon as I sit in the chair, burn through any Novacaine as quickly as it's injected, and look for any excuse to NOT go to the dentist. After my first visit, which was just a cleaning and x-rays, I realized that this office GETS it. They understand the anxiety folks like me have, and they work WITH me to get me through it. During my cleaning they used topical anesthetic that did not require needles, were very gentle, and set me up for future visits with a prescription of Valium to take before my appointments. At my next cleaning, I couldn't find my new medication prescription (approximately 6 months after the first visit) and could only find 1 pill from my prior visit (I usually take 2). When I got to the office and told them this, they suggested we try the laughing gas with 1 Valium I was on. BEST DENTAL CLEANING OF MY LIFE. It was over before it began, and I was not in tears at all. They also did not charge me for the laughing gas (since it's not covered by my insurance) for this visit since we were seeing how well I did/if it helped. Yesterday I had to have a cavity filled. We followed the same method of 1 Valium and laughing gas during the procedure. Dr. Knutson asked me what the worst part of dentals was - surely it's the shots I told him. He informed me the shot was ALREADY done and I did not feel a thing. They used a vibrating apparatus to make the injection less noticeable, and had applied a numbing patch prior to the doctor coming in. When he gave a second injection I felt it minutely and told them that - immediately the pain was alleviated (not sure what he did but it stopped!). This morning Dr. Knutson himself texted me saying he wanted to add an antibiotics course to my plan from yesterday's visit. Additionally, he offered to do a polish for myself and my fiance (who is not a patient there but should be) so our smiles are extra sparkly for our upcoming wedding. The laughing gas and Valium helps me immensely, but the whole staff is empathetic, compassionate, patient, and understands my fears are not about THEM as people or their profession, but born out of bad prior experiences. I feel respected despite what I know is an irrational fear, and they work very hard with me to make sure I am as comfortable as possible for something that has previously been traumatic and anxiety-inducing. The dental hygienists I've seen are also wonderful - Brenda and Kyoko. They are so good at what they do, patient, and really listen and work with you on making you comfortable while still providing the best care possible for you. The office staff and everyone I've interacted with there in person and on phone has been fabulous, beyond patient, and overall so kind that I don't think I could ever go anywhere else. Dr. Knutson and his staff have won me over, and despite the anxiety, I know going to their office is the best option for me and my dental care. THANK YOU for all that your office does for anxious patients like me!!!

Dr. Knutson and his staff are highly professional and more than friendly. We felt more like family. They took us in, taking the time in making us comfortable with every procedure needed, leaving us relaxed and happy with all the dental work. Dr. Knutson's staff totally surprised us with their upbeat personalities and proactive attention. Everything from scheduling, follow-up, available to communicate 24 hours a day with return responses almost instantly and concerned about our welfare & satisfaction above reproach. We have been to numerous different dentists around the world for over 65 years. Dr. Knutson has the most state-of-the-art equipment. I know we all fear going to the dentists because of discomfort & pain, however we assure you, Dr. Knutson and his staff take pain out of the equation and happiness as priority, and that makes us smile. There's not a rating chart high enough on this review that can credit Dr. Knutson and his staff. They are very sincere and friendly people.
