Originally from Midland, Michigan, Dr. Eric Hull graduated from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota with a major in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology. From there he moved to Loma Linda, California and attended the University of Loma Linda School of Dentistry where he was the class sole recipient of the Achievement Award in Endodontics.
Outside of the office Dr. Hull spends most of his time with his wife and two young kids. They thoroughly enjoy living in West Michigan. On weekends you can find them either outside playing basketball, playing tennis, or at the beach (at least during the summer time).
Grand Rapids dentist Dr. Eric Hull is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, West Michigan District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
After founding this office in 1974 and after nearly fifty years of service, Dr. Bruce Stewart has transitioned into retirement. Over the years he provided outstanding dental care while always practicing with compassion and integrity. His professional career was marked by numerous accomplishments. He became the first dentist in Michigan to be accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), he served on the AACDs Accreditation Board of Examiners, and he was a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.
More important than Dr Stewarts professional accomplishments, are the lifetime relationships he formed with patients and team members alike. Even though we still expect to see him in the office from time to time, experiencing his kindness and warmth on a regular basis will be missed.
Dr. Stewart will always and forever be a part of our team. In 2012 Dr. Hull and Dr. Stewart started a nearly decade long business partnership. Dr. Hulls practice philosophies, Accreditation in the AACD, Graduation from the Kois Center, and Fellowship in the American Academy of General Dentistry are all a direct result of Dr Stewarts mentorship and guidance. Even though the business partnership has come to an end, the personal bond never will.
Monica has been a valuable team member since 1998. She helps run the front office in addition to coordinating and managing patient care. When Monica isnt working she loves spending time with her daughter. In addition to her skills in the dental field Monica has a license in cosmetology.
Michele is the newest member of the office team. She is such a good fit in the office that her 2015 start date seems like it was years ago. Michele helps manage the front office and makes sure our patients are well taken care of when they arrive to the office. Outside of the office Michele enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also likes to read and scrapbook.
Annie has been working here since 1996. She helps manage our front office and specializes in helping our patients with all of their insurance needs. Outside of the office Annie enjoys traveling, camping, and hiking with her family. She has four sons and two grandchildren.
Deb started as a dental assistant back when the office opened in 1974. When Deb isnt working her main hobbies include walking, biking, gardening, and camping. She is also a big sports fanatic and follows cross country, football, hockey, and baseball. However, nothing comes close to spending time with her three kids and five grandchildren.
Melissa has been with the office since 2017. She helps assist both the hygienists and doctors by making sure everything is running smoothly throughout the day. Outside of the office she loves spending time with her husband and two kids. She enjoys crafting and baking, but is best known for her trivia skills.
Anne joined the office in 2019. She has been in the dental field for over 25 years and has been an instructor of dental assisting. In her spare time she enjoys golfing, reading, and boating. She also loves spending time with her husband and fur baby at their place up north.
Heather has been a hygienist in the office since 2017. When she isnt spending time at work she can usually be found with her family. In addition to coaching her childrens sports teams, she enjoys baking or making IKEA runs.
Carol has been a hygienist in the office since 2000. Outside of the office Carol enjoys both playing and coaching basketball. When not involved with basketball she also likes to run and read. However, most of her time is spent with her husband and her three kids. Being the youngest of nine siblings, she has always enjoyed time with family.

Dr. Hull and his staff bring a professional, comfortable and luxurious experience to their clients. I had neglected my dental care for a long time, so decided to do some research to find the best in my area and landed on Dr. Hull. Even though the office is an hour away from me, the drive is worth every minute. The experience has been non-judgemental, professional, and honestly kind of fun. Every question I have is answered, in terms I understood, by every member of the staff. Everyone in the office clearly has extensive experience and passion in all areas of their job, and it's very comforting. Dr. Hull was able to show me pages and pages of veneers that he's done, so many that he's divided them into books for each kind. The before and afters are remarkable, and I trust him completely to do my cosmetic work! His dental assistant Courtney is also very knowledgeable and has incredible bedside manner. She will absolutely take care of you and explain all parts of the process that you're going through. In other terms of comfort, I have never experienced a more painless experience while having my teeth worked on. I was offered a heated neck roll, a blanket, warm washcloths to wipe my mouth after dental impressions, and even have a heated massage chair during my teeth cleaning. I also have to mention that the waiting area is beautiful. I became a new patient just after the remodel, and it was very successful, like walking into a Pottery Barn set. I don't even mind sitting in the waiting room. The exam rooms are very new and futuristic looking, and everything feels very sanitary. I regret not coming here sooner, but I'm happy to be a patient now. If you're thinking about going, don't wait any longer.

I have nothing but WONDERFUL THINGS TO SAY about Dr Hull and always have had a good experience. Dr Hull is very knowledgeable but what I love the most is that he explains things thoroughly and doesn't rush you in and out. He's gentle and has always done a great job with me - a big chicken. He takes care of that !!!!!!! I ALSO LOVE HIS HUMOR -

I am a new patient with Dr. Hull's office and honestly could not be anymore satisfied. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating from the front office receptionists, to the dental assistants/hygienists and Dr. Hill himself. I've only had a couple fillings done and the process was painless. Dr. Hull is careful and makes sure that you're in comfort prior to any procedures. If you're looking for a new dentist or dentist in general, look no further! Highly recommended.

I cannot give higher regards to Dr. Eric Hull and his entire dental staff, from the front desk to the practitioners, every single person has been kind and welcoming, but most importantly, they are well educated professionals that are excellent at what they do. It is also apparent that they love their jobs, which inadvertently sets a warm, comforting atmosphere. Dr. Hull is undoubtedly one of the best dentists, unparalleled, his expertise and perfectionism is second to none. I recently had some dental bonding on my front teeth, and he did an absolutely phenomenal job! I couldn't be anymore happy with his work. I better not leave out the time that I had a filling done, he made me feel so at ease and relaxed, that I literally dozed off during the procedure (that has never happened before, haha!) My experience thus far has been truly wonderful and I am happy to say that I have found my forever dentist!

Always wonderful coming here! Dr. Hull is very knowledgeable and has personable bedside manner with his patients. Carol is the best dental hygienist in the world; always very gentle with the mouth and the comfort of her patient's is number 1. The new lobby/office is looking great! Can't wait to see the finished masterpiece!

Everyone is super nice and made the whole process go so smoothly.Came in for an orthodontist referral but I know I will be coming back for further work on my teeth!They're very knowledgeable and honest!Also I found everyone to be very easy to talk to amd friendly.I think if you're a bit nervous of going to the dentist you should go here.I wasn't nervous at all during my visit. Already planning on my next visit!

Absolutely fabulous! I come from a family of Dentists, so I am extremely picky and know what to look for. His bedside manner is kind, caring, thoughtful; even more important to me: his knowledge is impeccable and combines amazingly with his perfectionism and patience! His staff are caring, intelligent, patient and kind as well. Couldn't ask for a better Dentists or office!

The dentist is never fun but Dr. Hull and everyone working always makes the experience relaxing. Everyone is very nice and makes sure you're comfortable for whatever procedure you have done! I had a filling today and it was the first time ever that i've never felt pain during the procedure. Dr. Hull did an amazing job! I also take my 5 year old son here and they did amazing with him as well for cleanings. I highly recommend this office.

There are plenty of reasons I've been coming here for years and will never go anywhere else. The dental work I've had done has always made me feel anxious, yet when I leave I feel supported and well cared for. I would trust this whole staff with my needs for dental work. This office has supported giving me a beautiful healthy smile for years, many more to come!

Office staff is inept. I called two months prior, gave the office staff Delta Dental insurance which is out of network. The staff was supposed to submit a Pretreatment Estimate to delta dental for basic new patient exam. The office staff had another insurance provider for dental in my records that I have never heard of. I have had same dental insurance for six years.

The staffing is absoutley amazing and coming here feels like a luxury. They provide you with absolute comfort (neck warmers, blankets, offering bottles of water, ect.) And just really go above and beyond to break the stigma of dread when it comes to going to the dentist! They are currently under remodel, further accommodating for your comfort. Take this review as a sign to come here for your next appointment!!
